Another Penny Finally Dropped:

When Art Imitates Reality (MH 370 and Manifest)

Sometimes, something obvious can be sitting right in front of me and I don’t see it immediately. Yesterday, the Forensic Astrology team of Ellie Adams and Brandy Burrow posted two YouTube videos about the disappearance of MH 370. By now we ‘know’ that this airline crashed into the Indian Ocean because part of a wing drifted to land a long way west from the presumed crash site. But I suspect that people (and especially the relatives) were hoping that the passengers would show up some day, à la Manifest (penny dropped).

MH370 took off just after midnight on March 8, 2014. MG828 took off on April 7, 2013. The producers and writers of Manifest changed the date of the flight taking off by one month later, one day earlier and one year earlier.

Adverse Weather Phenomenon is Nothing New

Yangtze River Floods (August 18, 1931 – peak)

We tend to think that climate change is a recent thing. It’s not. This image from Wuhan, China in 1931 shows the extent of the flooding that occurred there. Upwards to 4 million people died. Think about it! By today’s planetary figures of 8 billion souls that equates to 0.5% of the world’s population. And yet the population numbers were much smaller then.

My reason for looking at this climate disaster is to reflect on a past life memory, or a future one, that my second wife and I shared in a joint dream we had in the 1980’s. We were (or will be) Chinese in that life, and we were standing on a pier watching the water rise to flood levels. It was the end of the world as we knew it (but I feel fine).

This chart is totally randomized in order to see what inconjuncts were operating on the day of the peak flooding. There are two of them, which are totally independent of a correct time of day.

Mercury Inconjunct Uranus

Your mind moves quickly from topic to topic, often without pausing long enough for you to understand what you have learned. And if there is a lot of excitement or activity around you, your mind may race so fast to keep up with it all that you work yourself into a state of nervous frenzy. Under these circumstances it is almost impossible for you to concentrate or do any useful mental work.

Venus Inconjunct Saturn

You need and want love, but you may not be able to get it easily. You may feel that persons in authority make demands on you that you must fulfill before they will give you any love and support. Although everyone must fulfill certain social demands, this should not be the condition for being loved. If this demand is carried to an extreme in your case, you will become cold-hearted and unable to love others even when you want to. You may also feel that you cannot indulge yourself in any pleasure or even love.

When a TV Show Proves To Be Popular

Yellowstone (Season 5, Part 1)

Honestly, it’s a slap in the face for fans of a show when the network airing the latest season decides to monetize the viewing of their episodes. I refused to sign up to Paramount+ when I’d watched the previous four seasons on Prime Video. Maybe I was being short-sighted, but too many streaming services means too little time to actually watch regular television (via Rogers cable)…

So, instead, I bought the DVD for the first half of the fifth season. At least I have “something” to show for my money.

John Dutton is the New Governor of Montana

If ever I saw a man reluctant to be a politician, it’s the character played by Kevin Costner. And, after only two episodes, so far, I cannot help but reflect on the idea that the Dutton family are an echo of the Family Trump of 2016-2020. Even their disruptor MO is similar. Which makes me wonder if the story line arc is intended to emulate the non-political stance of 45. The man and his two sons and one daughter are similarly dysfunctional in their family dynamic. Maybe something’s in the water…

But I digress. Here’s a clip for those of you that have missed the latest episodes:

Happy trails, amigos.

Could You Recognize Propaganda When You See It ?

Sound of Freedom (2023)

First thing: I have not, and will not, watch this film. It has a story line that borders on child exploitation. But that seems to be the point that the film producers are wanting to promote. They want you to see that watching this film is a way to stop harm from befalling children everywhere. All well and fine, you might think, but the undercurrent is a way to point subtle fingers at some of the world’s elite citizens.

I am not promoting this film; I’m warning you about it.

That last part is at the end of the closing credits for the film. See what I mean? It’s a fundraising initiative without a discernable beneficiary. How can we know who helped, how much was raised and who claimed their ticket(s)? Something smells…

It Takes a Minute for the Penny to Finally Drop

The Clue was Being a Cleric His Whole Life

It’s the kind of thing that happens all the time, at least to me. I was pondering the comment that my daughter made on a previous post, and my mind said, “Read about the man on Wikipedia.” So I did, and stopped on the part that stated that he was a cleric his whole life. Then, *bing* “That’s the same with Sean O’Laoire, a man who’d been ‘removed’ from the Roman Catholic Church for believing in reincarnation.” Is that why I was given Éliphas Lévi’s name yesterday? Wow!

At first glance, I couldn’t see any direct links between the North and South Nodes in their charts, but when you look further, it becomes more obvious that they are connected karmically, especially the crowded Ascendant/Descendant axis in Sean’s chart. Additionally, Sean’s Pluto is conjunct Levi’s fatal Uranus and natal Part of Fortune, and Sean’s North Node is conjunct Levi’s (rectified) Ascendant @ 15° Gemini. That’s the built-in ability to hold two differing concepts in your consciousness while never allowing one to be out of balance with the other. Hmm.

This Man Took an Individual Pathway to Enlightenment

Éliphas Lévi (February 8, 1810 – May 31, 1875)

Okay. I don’t know why I was given this man‘s name this morning as I was waking up, but I suspect it was because I was running through scenarios in my mind that had to do with esoteric knowledge like Tarot. “High magic” seems to be his calling card, but he was very misunderstood in his time.

His birth time is unknown. So, the choice was randomized, sunrise or noon. I chose noon, to start, and then rectified his chart to reflect the fact that he entered the seminary (Roman Catholic Church priesthood) at age 22. This is represented by Saturn, occurring just before the Descendant (age 23).

The resulting Yod (Finger of God) points at Uranus, formed by inconjuncts to the Moon and Ascendant. What that means is that this configuration may be totally bogus, or it could be spiritually significant.

Moon Inconjunct Uranus

With this aspect you must learn to control sudden outbursts of emotion that occur at difficult times when you least expect it. Also your present home life may not be a stable situation in which you can grow emotionally secure and confident. A particular incident when you were very young may have given you the feeling that you can’t count on anything or anyone for support. Later in life, you may try very hard to get away from anything that reminds you of your earliest childhood, even if your childhood has not been difficult. You just feel that you have to get away and go somewhere else.

You should be encouraged to express your inner feelings and release the tensions that build up within you. In this way you will not be hurt by energies that you aren’t aware of in yourself.

Uranus Inconjunct Ascendant

Your need to be free and do what you want is often in conflict with what others require of you and even with what you feel you ought to do. Sometimes this conflict can cause considerable physical and emotional tension. The task you face is to organize your life in a disciplined way that will enable you to satisfy your need for freedom through your everyday activities. One way to accomplish this is by figuring out your own methods for doing your work. Or you may choose to do the most interesting and exciting tasks, which are often the most difficult, so that others shy away from them. You need to be challenged by puzzles and problems in all your activities. You are not good at routines and repetitious tasks.

One Tarot Card Holds the Key to What’s Going On

X Wheel of Fortune

Have you ever wondered why certain images play on our unconscious understanding? The Wheel of Fortune displays so many links to different things, it makes me think it was all specifically planned.

When I had my daughter, Amy, illustrate my first birth chart template, back in the early 1990’s, we decided on this format, with the four evangelists in the corners. Of course, they are the Zodiac symbols of Taurus (bull), Leo (lion), Scorpio (eagle) and Aquarius (man), so already we have a link to astrology.

Even the compass points in the middle of the wheel hint at the four elements: Fire (north); Air (south); Earth (east); Water (west). And the lettering around the circle gives the opposite meaning if you go clockwise (TARO) or counterclockwise (TORA). And, if you start at the bottom you get ROTA.

But the Hebrew letters alongside the Roman letters form YHWH, the Tetragrammaton.

That leaves the three symbols immediately circling the centre: the Sphinx; the Serpent; and the Devil. Hmm.

Well, this analysis is slightly out-of-step with my original ideas, but mostly in tune with the concepts.

So, to recap, this one card is the coming together of three strains of thought: Egyptian, Hebrew and Roman. Maybe that’s why the Tarot was created. We cannot then pretend that modern man has all the answers. He needs the ancient wisdoms, too.

Amen.

Close the (Eleven Year) Loop and Save the World, Too

Manifest (Season 4, Part 2b)

Courtesy of Dolores Cannon’s Facebook page

Or, as Cal said, “It’s all connected!” And so it is…

*SPOILER ALERT!*

This is so much like the shows “Lost” and “Timeless”. I suspect it’s what we all crave: a do-over.

The Name of the Game is Hidden Meaning

Manifest (2018 – 2023)

This is my next-to-last post about Manifest, the series that’s showing on Netflix. There are no spoiler alerts here, since I want to concentrate on the meanings behind the characters’ names.

Names as Religious Symbols in “Manifest”

Michaela – female version of Archangel Michael
Ben – short for Benjamin (a tribe of Israel)
Grace – a blessing to her family
Olive – All live
Cal – short for Calvin (John Calvin protestant leader)
Angelina – messenger of God
Eden – ‘delight’ (as in Garden of…)
Zeke – short for Ezekiel (a Hebrew prophet)
Jared – ‘descendant’ of Adam and Eve (father of Enoch)
Saanvi – follower of Lakshmi (Hindu goddess of luck and prosperity)
Eagan – Ego
Evie – Eve
828ers – hate to haters
Xers – people ‘exercising their rights’ against the 828 survivors

My own listing

This list is not exhaustive. I could have started another list of surnames only, beginning with “Stone” (between a rock and a hard place), for example. Obviously, the significance of these names cannot be underestimated.

We are down to the final few episodes and are eagerly awaiting the series finale. I hope it ‘glows’ okay.

What’s in a Name? By Accident or Design?

Manifest (Season 4, Part 2a)

Way back at the beginning of Manifest, I wondered about some of the characters’ names. Most were obvious, but one of them made me ponder its meaning.

I’d never heard of the Goddess Lakshmi before, so I researched her story. It turns out she is the Hindu Goddess of luck and prosperity. In the Manifest series, Saanvi is the scientist most interested in researching how Sapphire figures in the story of the return of Montego flight 828. Evidently, Sapphire is said to bring prosperity and joy. This cannot be a coincidence.

And, very subtly in season 4, the 828ers began referring to God as She. Hmm.
