How Many Times Will You Let Yourself be Humiliated?

Kevin McCarthy (January 26, 1965)

After two days, six votes and countless meetings, Kevin McCarthy is set to become the next Speaker of the House of Representatives in the United States. His motto, “I’m not going anywhere,” sounds true enough. But who in their right mind would allow this debacle to run this long?

That Uranus/Pluto conjunction in Virgo inconjunct the Aquarius Midheaven may be the reason he won’t back down nor give up.

Uranus Inconjunct Midheaven

When you feel rebellious and unwilling to accept anything you are told, you should be allowed, within reason, to have the experience that will help you understand your elders’ point of view. If you are lucky enough to have parents who let you do this, you will eventually get over your childhood resentment or being told what to do. Although you may not always agree with what they tell you, at least you will consider the merits of their ideas.

On the other hand, if your movements are restricted and you have few opportunities to experience yourself directly, you will become more resentful of authority and finally disregard whatever you are told, regardless of its merit. Later in life this attitude could make it extremely hard for you to hold down a job, because you will respond to bosses in the same way that you respond now to your parents and other grown-ups.

Pluto Inconjunct Midheaven

You may have trouble with older people who try to teach you how to effectively take control of your life. Even while you are young, you may resent their control over you and resist everything they are trying to teach you. To a great extent, your path in life will be shaped by your early confrontations with authority figures. Your parents would be well advised to give you as much control as possible over your own affairs and as much self-determination as you can handle. They should not try to keep an extremely tight rein on you, for if they do, you will explode and become very difficult to handle.

Uranus Conjunct Pluto (1965)

This aspect undoubtedly signifies a generation of children who will have very powerful effects upon the rest of the culture, for they will be revolutionaries in the truest sense. They will be very eager and restless for change, but at the same time patient enough to learn how to really bring it about. They will undoubtedly have a very powerful impact on everyone in society.

Does that answer the question? I think so.

Not such an idle threat after all.

Last Night I Had a Dream About…

One Rotten Apple

We all know the rest of the saying:

My dream was quite intricate and lasted the whole night. Essentially, someone’s accounts were out by $4,000. and it was my task to find out why. In the end, the accumulated $2000. depreciation of one ‘rotten apple’ (literally) was posted as a debit (asset) instead of a credit (liability). I puzzled all night why this apple would even be listed on the books. But it wasn’t until the morning light dawned on me that this was a metaphor about the Republicans’ chaos in the House of Representatives as they try to elect a Speaker. Hmm.

Eywa: The Living Spirit of Pandora

Avatar: The Way of Water (2022)

We went to the cinema yesterday and watched this marathon movie (except that I missed a bit in the middle when Kiri had some kind of seizure). The story continues the “Dances With Wolves” scenario that was originally conceived in the first movie in 2009 by James Cameron.

Tsireya: [to Lo’ak] The way of water has no beginning and no end. Our hearts beat in the womb of the world. The sea is your home, before your birth and after your death. The sea gives and the sea takes. Water connects all things: life to death, darkness to light.

IMDb

The bit that I missed may have been when Eywa (pig Latin for “Way”) was fully explained. But I digress. Eywa is Yahweh, at least in the breath that it takes to say its name, which makes me connect the title of this movie with this saying:

End of this lesson.

I Reviewed the Past Year, and Decided It Ain’t…

The Gospel Truth

It’s a strange process, to be sure: you think about all the things that have happened (and, in some cases, are still happening) and you wonder if it’s true, or just another made-up fairytale. How can we trust anything?

The irony of the term ‘The Gospel Truth’ is that the four Gospels from the New Testament may have been a complete fabrication, from start to finish. But, because we have been told from our childhood onwards that the story is real, it means that the Santa Claus effect is operating. What do I mean by that?

As children, we are told a magical story about an all-seeing, all-knowing, benevolent individual who, once a year, visits every household and leaves presents for us. Eventually, all children see through this ruse, and come to the conclusion that they have been lied to. The parents (and other adults) explain that the story was meant to bring a little magic into the children’s lives, and that no harm was intended.

Exactly true, except in the case of a family that doesn’t have the means to lavish loads of gifts on their children: they are not ‘worthy’ enough to enjoy the benefits. (And, as is often the case, the idea of Santa is racist, in the extreme: if you belong to another culture or religion, the story doesn’t quite ring true.)

Last year, and the year before, I discovered some interesting information (that was supposed to ‘fire my imagination’): in a past life, I may have helped to create the myth that is Jesus the Messiah. This is disturbing.

After midnight, I came to the conclusion that Jesus isn’t all myth and no trousers: Pontius Pilate did hang an individual that some purported to be “King of the Jews” and although no one can ‘prove’ this now, the records exist (and I’m not suggesting the Akashic versions only) that this ‘Jesus’ lived and died in the first century of our present system of keeping track of time. Pilate’s government would have had many such individuals put to death, citing them for inciting insurrection. (Guess what’s on my mind?)

In that past life, Tiberius Julius Alexander followed Pilate as Procurator of Judea but about 15 tears later. That means that, when it came time to create a prior life story for Titus, he had access to Pilate’s records.

Do you see what I’m getting at? A real, but itinerate, teacher of spiritual truth upset the religious leaders of the Temple at Jerusalem during the Passover feast celebrations. He was captured, tried and crucified. What happened later is a cover story to account for his body’s disappearance on the third day. And, although it was intended to quietly focus on Titus as their reincarnated Messiah, the Gospels instead took a different turn and created a new religion, Christianity.

Amen.

The British Press Nicknamed Him “God’s Rottweiler”

Benedict XVI (April 16, 1927 – December 31, 2022)

Incognito?

It doesn’t come as a shock to me, personally, but the Catholic world is reeling from the death of the former Pope Benedict XVI. He has been unwell for several years, so the end was always on the horizon.

The timing of Joseph Ratzinger’s birth chart is factual. That Mars on the Gemini Ascendant, conjunct his Cancer North Node is a huge clue as to the way the world saw him. Hence the nickname the UK press gave him. (And there are no inconjuncts, so what you saw was what you got, in spades.)

Wednesday, April 20th, 2005 editions of British national newspapers as they report the Tuesday election of Pope Benedict XVI. Pope Benedict XVI pledged on Wednesday to continue the liberalizing reforms of the Second Vatican Council and to work to unify all Christians, as he outlined goals following an election that sent a signal the church was intent on sticking to tradition as it confronts 21st-century problems. Benedict, the former Cardinal Joseph Ratzinger, listed top priorities of his pontificate in a message read in Latin to cardinals gathered in the Sistine Chapel for the first Mass celebrated by the 265th leader of the Roman Catholic Church. He died this morning @ 9:34 local time in Rome.

Hercule Poirot, He is Not, but It’s Still Fun

Glass Onion (2022)

About an hour in, I wonder if this was a “Ten Little Indians/And Then There Were None” remake, but I was wrong. It’s much more fun than that. Glass Onion is the second film in this newly minted Knives Out franchise which boasts that their detective (Benoit Blanc) is the Greatest Detective in the World. Hmm. Where have I heard that before?

The weekend of fun(?) was to culminate in the murder of the host (an obvious homage to Elon Musk), but there’s a back story, which doesn’t get shown until the second half, which explains the palpable tension between Miles Bron and his ex, Andi Brand. I won’t give the secret away, but the ending seems straight out of a James Bond film.

May I recommend this movie to you?

I Think He Understands the Matrix Perfectly Well

Keanu Reeves (September 2, 1964)

I was reading a Facebook post about Keanu Reeves‘ philanthropy, today. We all know about him, but we presume so much when it comes to his feelings of compassion and empathy. He’s one-of-a-kind.

Ah, the timing issue… Keanu was born in Beirut, which makes getting his birth certificate a bit tricky. Most astrology sites have followed Rodden’s rectified chart of 5:41 am. Really? That doesn’t tally with the man, as far as I am concerned. Another astrologer chose the 12 noon birthtime, which is a classic choice when you don’t know, but he seems to have hit the marker, because Saturn is now at 3 years, when his father left home. I’m going with that time, too.

As a result, Neptune is in the 12 House Scorpio, a spiritual warrior, who is also an actor.

The stellium in Virgo starting with a Mercury/Sun close conjunction, followed by Uranus and culminating is a Pluto/Midheaven conjunction means that he has a serious outlook on life, but it’s still a game, the Game of Life, that he plays.

The Moon/Mars/Venus conjunction in Cancer shows that he has a passionate nature, and, in my estimation, this also provides him with empathy for others. He ‘knows’ we are all One.

Hmm.

Is Daddy Pulling the Puppet Strings: Putin’s Successor?

Dmitry Patrushev (October 13, 1977)

Okay, this is one of the men on the Daily Mail list to succeed Putin. When you look at his resume, it is obvious that he was groomed from an early age to be the next ‘dictator’ of Russia. But will it happen?

The timing of this chart is entirely speculative. I started it as random, then I moved the clock forward twice by two hour increments. There are no inconjuncts, so I’m not telling tales outside the schoolyard.

What I find fascinating is that stellium of Pluto, the North Node, Mercury, the Sun and the Moon in Libra. This is not a man who will be drawn into a pitched battle; he will talk his way out of any trouble and through any obstacles. To have your name brought up by a foreign newspaper as Putin’s next-in-line could have disastrous consequences for your life. Could the ‘leak’ have been disinformation, intended to remove him from potential power? Not if daddy has anything to say about it.

The Dapper Young Man in the Rolling Stones

Charlie Watts (June 2, 1941 – August 24, 2021)

I got this book for Christmas. On my own, I probably wouldn’t have bought it for myself. Why? I’m not really a fan of the Rolling Stones, so reading about their drummer, Charlie Watts, wouldn’t occur to me.

The timing of Charlie’s birth chart is rectified to his marrying his wife at age 23. That places his Sun @ age 17 when he started being a professional drummer, and his Jupiter @ age 14 when he was bought his first drum kit. I think we are on fairly solid ground here. There are two inconjuncts which are time-critical because they relate to the Ascendant and the Midheaven. I will delineate them, anyway.

Saturn Inconjunct Ascendant

With this aspect you probably have a rather serious attitude toward life and other people. It may be quite difficult for you to simply go out and have a good time. You want to be serious and to spend all your time performing significant tasks. This attitude may have developed because you were discouraged from enjoying yourself when you were younger. You may have been made to feel that only work is important, that play serves no useful purpose.

You need to be encouraged to believe in yourself and to recognize your personal strength. You have to be helped to realize that you as an individual are worth a lot and that you need to get some satisfaction from life as much as the next person does.

Uranus Inconjunct Midheaven

You need to express your thoughts and feelings, but you often upset the people around you with your words. You seem to enjoy creating a stir every time you say something, but this can get you into quite a bit of trouble with parents, teachers and other authority figures. The underlying principle of this aspect is the need to balance your individual self-expression and manner of communicating with your need to learn and grow under the guidance of older people.

Certainly you will discover your own routes to what you want in life. Now you need to be given the confidence and encouragement to look for those routes on your own with total freedom.
