The Chickens May Have Finally Come Home to Roost

James Comey (December 14, 1960)

So, even though his actions just before the 2016 Presidential election probably helped Donald Trump defeat Hillary Clinton, he was perceived as not being sufficiently loyal to the 45th President and got fired. Now within the statute of limitations for his problematic testimony before Congress in 2020, he has been indicted by a Grand Jury of lying under oath. Is that a surprise?

Warning: this is a birth chart that has been rectified to reflect Venus’ position when he married at age 27. Only two planets are above the horizon: Venus and Mars. That may be significant.

There are four inconjuncts: the Sun inconjunct to the Cancer Ascendant; the Moon inconjunct to the Aries Midheaven; Venus inconjunct Pluto; and Pluto inconjunct the Midheaven. Effectively, three of these inconjuncts form two interactive Fingers of God (Yods), one pointing to the Midheaven and one pointing to Pluto. This could prove problematic, not for Comey, but for the Trump government.

Will the truth finally come out?

A Song I Heard in High School Via The Hurbleys

Yes I Will (1965)

This track came up in my randomized iTunes playlist this morning. Strangely enough, I hadn’t realized it was even in my music collection. When I went to visit the home of the lead singer of The Hurbleys in Toronto, he wrote out the lyrics and chord progression for me. Honestly, I was under the impression that it was their song. Now, my memory stands corrected. Funny that…

Today Would Have Been Her 96th Birthday

Barbara Walters: Tell Me Everything (2025)

We watched this program on ABC last night.

It was an interesting two hours. So, naturally, I wanted to look at her birth chart.

Barbara Walters (September 26, 1929 – December 30, 2022)

The timing is considered correct, although I have my doubts because it was @ dawn, which is always suspect. However, there are no inconjuncts so what we saw with her was exactly what we got. The oppositions, alone, tell a different story: she had a lot conflicts with others, especially men (Moon opposition Saturn). Her combative style was due to the T-square linking the Sun, Uranus and Midheaven, as well as a Mercury/Mars conjunction all square to Pluto. It all makes perfect sense, now.

Even in 1990, she knew this man was a liar, and she wasn’t buying his BS. He didn’t care, as always.

What I Previously Wrote About Wishful Thinking

Screenshot

The Rapture

There’s been a flurry of social media posts about the idea that Jesus was returning this month, specifically on the 23rd or 34th, depending on which site you follow. The quote from Matthew 24:36 says it all.

36 “But about that day or hour no one knows, not even the angels in heaven, nor the Son,[a] but only the Father.

biblegateway.com

People seem desperate to be ‘saved’ by Jesus’ return. That says a lot. But they need to be careful about what they ask for, mainly because they might get it, but not necessarily in the form they want.

The Apocalypse of Saint John is a very tricky business. Here’s a video that speaks of the same thing, but from a Jewish perspective:

“Conflict or Invitation?!” See what I mean?

I’ve Been to This Site: the Stones Go On Forever

Carnac Stones, France

In a corner of Brittany, there exist rows and rows of standing stones. I read, today, that scientists believe they may be older than Stonehenge. Walking among them is overwhelming. I suspect their positioning is the equivalent of a power grid. Why else would there be so many of them? Legend has it that Merlin turned Roman soldiers into the stones. That seems a little far-fetched. The overview is startling:

What do you think?

John Knew What He Was Writing About

Strawberry Fields Forever (1967)

At the time, this song was considered very avant-garde. The video that accompanied it was even more confusing, but now, all these years later, the genius behind the song is quite visible.

Let me take you down
‘Cause I’m going to Strawberry Fields
Nothing is real
And nothing to get hung about
Strawberry Fields forever

Living is easy with eyes closed
Misunderstanding all you see
It’s getting hard to be someone
But it all works out
It doesn’t matter much to me

Let me take you down
‘Cause I’m going to Strawberry Fields
Nothing is real
And nothing to get hung about
Strawberry Fields forever

No one I think is in my tree
I mean, it must be high or low
That is, you can’t, you know, tune in
But it’s alright
That is, I think it’s not too bad

Let me take you down
‘Cause I’m going to Strawberry Fields
Nothing is real
And nothing to get hung about
Strawberry Fields forever

Always, no sometimes, think it’s me
But you know I know when it’s a dream
I think I know I mean a yes
But it’s all wrong
That is I think I disagree

Let me take you down
‘Cause I’m going to Strawberry Fields
Nothing is real
And nothing to get hung about

Strawberry Fields forever
Strawberry Fields forever
Strawberry Fields forever

Cranberry sauce

Amen

When It Comes to Duty, It’s Nothing Personal

Lord Krishna and Arjuna

Hinduism has been around for a very long time. Arjuna’s story is told in the ancient Hindu epic, Mahabharata. It’s a tale of a warrior with a conscience, who, when faced with a battlefield against his loved ones and friends, hesitates, feeling that he could not possibly go on. (It’s a story told many times throughout history.) His chariot driver, Lord Krishna, enters his mind and shares some eternal knowledge with him. The advice given is relevant to us all, when faced with overwhelming feelings in our lives. Here’s a video that explores the meaning of it all:

The next time you feel overwhelmed, remember that nothing is real:

Amen.

I’m M.A.D. as Hell…

Mutually Assured Destruction (Cold War Strategy)

It’s not the first time that I’ve had this dream, and the details seem to tally when viewed from my limited perspective. In it, our town launched a series of missiles at the next town over, and the timing coincided with the times on my bedside clock. In theory, whatever happens is supposed to only occur for an hour-and-a-quarter and then everything reverts to the way it was, before the strike. (One Tin Soldier?)

Which is it?

Northern Lights’ Angel?

You may remember that I posted a picture taken by my wife’s granddaughter, Morgan Barber, in October of last year. It wasn’t exactly clear what the image was, but it appeared to be an angel.

Now, it seems that others saw the same image around the world (in the Northern Hemisphere) and here are a couple of example of the photographs they took at the time:

Here’s the last one that seems really clear:
