The True Story Behind One of Television’s Greatest Frauds
Quiz (2020)

It strikes me as ironic that the date that the original TV show taping was exactly two days before Nine-Eleven. (And I was still in Canada, not getting back to the UK until the following Friday.) Makes me wonder if the ‘fraud’ energy was in the stars that week.

That Yod pointing at Mars (from the Moon and the Midheaven inconjuncts) may be the overarching energy, while the Jupiter/Pluto inconjunct may have been the ‘revealer’.
Jupiter Inconjunct Pluto
You have a great deal of creative power, and the major challenger of your life will be learning how to handle it. First of all, you must realize that you will get the most out of life if you direct your energies toward helping the people around you and those you love. You will want to change many conditions in the world, which is fine as long as your reasons are not purely selfish ones.
If you use the energies of this aspect selfishly, you will have serious conflicts with authorities, person in power and adults in general. You may try to make changes before you have learned how to do so creatively, without provoking such resistance that your actions are blocked. To be effective, you must have the necessary skills.
Even at best you will get a certain amount of resistance from others, because they will feel your energy and be afraid of your motives. Unless you show them that your motives are good and that you can be reasoned with, you will run into opponents who are more powerful than you, who will stop you and make your efforts futile.
(Yes, that sounds like Nine-Eleven, doesn’t it?)
The producers of this show quoted from Pablo Picasso at the start:

Quiz is art.

Quiz: Who Wants To Be A Millionaire?
Charles Ingram (August 6, 1963)
Some people are remembered for their heroism, some for their personality; this man is remembered for trying to cheat spectacularly on a UK quiz show, and getting found out.

Not knowing Mr Ingram’s birth time, I have rectified his chart to reflect his joining the army at age 23 (Jupiter: ‘join the army; see the world’). Because his parents divorced when he was young, Saturn and the Moon (conjunct!) needed to be in the childhood section of his birth chart (4th House). That puts Neptune on the cusp of his 2nd House (of Money and Possessions). I think we have it just about right.
Moon Inconjunct Midheaven
With this aspect you must learn to make your emotional needs and desires for pleasure fit in with your growth and development in the world. It is possible that these problems could make it difficult for you to choose a profession or a course that would give your life a sense of purpose. Or you may be unable to follow one path consistently. In other words, your emotional needs may be in conflict with your long-term goals. You may know what you have to do, but not feel much like doing it. Or your feelings may actually color your perception so much that you really do not see what has to be done. Try not to form bad habits, because they are especially likely to create difficulties of this sort.
Moon Conjunct Saturn
This is a very important aspect, and its effects depend heavily on how your parents feel about you. Unless you have a great deal of emotional support from your parents, especially you mother, you will grow up feeling unworthy, doubting your abilities and being unable to live easily with your emotions. Unfortunately, this aspect indicates that you are very sensitive to any coldness from your mother. If you do not have a close rapport with hr, or if she is physically absent, as may be the case with this aspect, you should find another person who can take her place in your life.
You may have an unusual ability to control yourself very strictly, to sit on your feelings and make decisions according to reason alone. You can be very objective and see a situation as it really is, uncolored by emotion. Just be sure to take your feelings about matters seriously as well, because they are important.
*cough, cough*

Is Trump Meeting His Personal Waterloo?
Napoleon Bonaparte (August 15, 1769 – May 5, 1821)
Alright, I’ve skirted around this issue long enough. Now it’s time to tackle it head on.

Most astrology sites list Napoleon’s birth time as 11:00 am. One actually has 11:30 am. I’m going to split the difference and use 11:15 am, just because I can. (Birth times in the past have always been rounded up to the top of the hour, or rounded down to the half.)
So, only one inconjunct, which is dependent on the time.
Pluto Inconjunct Midheaven
You may have trouble with older people who try to teach you how to effectively take control of your life. Even while you are young, you may resent their control over you and resist everything that they are trying to teach you. To a great extent, your path in life will be shaped by your early confrontations with authority figures. Your parents would be well advised to give you as much control as possible over your own affairs and as much self-determination as you can handle. They should not try to keep an extremely tight rein on you, for if they do, you will explode and become very difficult to handle. Also your self-esteem would be damaged. Your parents and teachers should be very straightforward with you, because if you feel that people are not being honest with you, you will not be honest with them, You are quite capable of acting behind people’s backs if you consider it necessary or if you feel that you never get your own way.
Another problem that can arise if you are not treated properly is that you may withdraw into yourself and become very secretive, as though you have something to hide even when you don’t. This can make people distrust you.
It should come as no surprise, therefore, that Napoleon had Scorpio Rising and Jupiter in Scorpio in the First House (of Personality). That’s a bit too much of a hidden agenda.

The accuracy of Napoleon’s death time is attested to by The Times. We’re on solid ground here, but notice how the Ascendant is at 18 degrees in Scorpio, very close to where Jupiter was in his birth chart. As a result, the ‘fatal’ conjunctions of Mercury, Mars and Saturn are inconjunct to the Ascendant, while his ‘fatal’ Jupiter in Aries is inconjunct to his ‘natal’ Jupiter. Interesting.

When I compared Trump’s birth chart, with Napoleon’s ‘death’ chart, I didn’t get any significant hits, so we may be in a similar situation where the birth chart energies may have the only planetary links between them. In other words, these two are operating with a similar pattern, but they are not connected reincarnationally.

The most significant link seems to be between the North Node/South Node axis in Napoleon’s chart being flipped to the opposite polarity in Trump’s. And Trump’s Mars/Ascendant is conjunct Napoleon’s Sun. Also there’s an almost exact conjunct between Trump’s Mercury and Napoleon’s Saturn. There are other links, too: Trump’s Pluto conjunct Napoleon’s Mercury and Trump’s Mercury conjunct Napoleon’s Venus.
The desire to be Emperor is built into Trump’s blueprint. But he’s not Napoleon reborn.
Did you ever wonder why the Brit’s call their lavatory a “loo”? Water closet = Waterloo.

Astrology: Whose “Fault”? Whose Fingerprints?
Trump as a Wannabe Napoleon
I don’t make these things up: astrology is very much like forensic psychology. If you look for the links, they are there to be seen. The French Revolution may be subtly beneath the surface of things, but its influence is definitely in the heavens above.

Like the comparison chart combining the Storming of the Bastille and the Capitol Breach of last week, the red aspect lines (of opposition and squares) are everywhere. The President is in the fight of his political life, and Wednesday’s ‘event’ was his last stand. The North Node/South Node axis is evident in both charts, and they are conjunct.
Gemini North Node — Sagittarius South Node
Here the individual receives an invitation to join society. His soul has come into this life with a past incarnation residue of wildness. As a result, he is unaccustomed to appreciating the point of view of others. The karmic continuation of a strong self-righteous attitude makes it difficult for him to be a fair judge of his own actions. As such his life is excessive. He is still attracted to the natural existence without formalities and will go far out of his way to avoid having any restrictions imposed on him.
He is used to being a free spirit and desperately tries to retain his sense of liberty at all costs. Whether married or not, the soul memory of his bachelor-like attitude makes it impossible for others to get too close to him.
Believing that actions speak louder than words, he makes his present life a kaleidoscope of rushed activity. He always tries to do too many things at a time, spreading himself so thin that he keeps losing sight of any central life theme.
In past incarnations he functioned on great reservoirs of nervous energy. Yet, for all his activities, he has not yet learned how to focus his attention in any one area. In this life he is still seeking expediency and finding himself forever the victim of short cuts that have to be repeated.
Unaccustomed to all the demands of society he tries to shirk responsibility. He feels that if he can just clear away all the business at hand as quickly as possible, he will then experience the freedom that society is trying to take away from him. And so, most of his time is spent trying to free himself. What he doesn’t realize is that each action creates an equal and opposite reaction. As a result he is actually making himself more imprisoned than before.
Always his nature is somewhat primitive. If he is selfish, it is done innocently. If he steps on others’ toes, it is because he is unaware they are there. Always he seems to miss the obvious, blissfully ignorant of the immediate circumstances around him. When it comes to social graces, he is so inexperienced that he appears to be the proverbial “bull in the china shop.”
In the current life, he is learning how to mix with the society he is benefiting from. Yet, still fearful of the reactions of people, he lives his life on the rim of the wheel, occasionally darting into the center of the hub, only to run back out again.
His past life experiences with people were lacking in the areas of cooperation, sociability and tact. Now he is striving to reach sophistication. He doesn’t yet know how to see a clear reflection of himself for he doesn’t understand that there are two sides to the same coin. Through his Gemini North Node, he will now undergo experiences which will force him to see both sides of every issue.
In this life, he is destined to learn what the world looks like through the eyes of others. Before he can understand why people seem not to listen to him, he must first put himself in their place. Ultimately he will come to realize that all the negative qualities he has been attaching to others are things he does not understand in himself.
Sometime he is a shouter in a library. No matter how sophisticated he pretends to be, he has so much past life residue of crudeness in him that it is bound to seep through at the most inopportune moments. This embarrasses him so much that he becomes determined to polish himself by paying attention to his mannerisms, habits, public behavior and particularly his mode of speaking.
Through his Gemini North Node, he will spend most of this life’s energy learning how to be adept at the art of communication. He now feels the need to educate himself, so that he can establish an identity in society.
At one time in the current life he will be faced with the conflict of whether to live in the city (Gemini) or the country (Sagittarius). While his basic nature for so many lifetimes would feel more comfortable in a country setting, he can learn much by adapting himself to the new experience of coping with city life.
Through his Gemini North Node, he must learn diplomatically to respect the rights of others if he is to help preserve a society which in prior lives he thought unimportant, but in this life is necessary for his very survival.
While his body cries out for sports, nature and the primitive life, his mind will eventually lead him toward a study of words, language and a reflection of his self-expression so that he starts to become a more humanistic part of te culture he lives in.
He is like the wild stallion desperately trying to fight being tames, and yet wondering what the experience might be like. In the midst of this seeming paradox he is a messenger of the lower and higher minds to all who come in contact with him. His past incarnations brought him to a natural understanding of the universe. Now his mission is not only for himself, but also to spread his understanding to the myriads of people that run through his life. Herein lies the mystical reason for his eternal restlessness. He has much to say and much ground to cover.

Disinformation: Duping America and the World
An Unsworn Affidavit aka “The Italian Job”

Besides, as the vilest Writer has his Readers, so the greatest Liar has his Believers; and it often happens, that if a Lie be believ’d only for an Hour, it has done its Work, and there is no farther occasion for it. Falsehood flies, and the Truth comes limping after it; so that when Men come to be undeceiv’d, it is too late; the Jest is over, and the Tale has had its Effect…
Jonathan Swift (“The Examiner” in 1710)
You may have seen this Affidavit on Facebook. It purports to document the fact that swing state votes were switched from Donald Trump to Joe Biden so that #45 could be defeated. This is so amateur of a production that even I saw through it immediately.
I would suggest that you read this critical analysis of the ‘story’ before buying into its lies. (Notice that one of the videos has already been taken down.)
So, Why Bother?
It seems to me that when the people of a country don’t have any faith in their electoral system, you’re already halfway there to making them believe that a voter fraud has taken place. All you need is the ‘proof’. Even before the Presidential election in 2016, Trump was suggesting that if he lost, the other side will have cheated somehow.
With opposition coming from all sides during his tenure, Trump repeated this same fiction for months before the November 3rd vote in 2020. That’s paranoia at its worst.

Remember, Trump has Mars conjunct his Ascendant, but it sits in the 12th House of his birth chart: in astrology shorthand, it means he feels defeated before he even starts…

And Just When You Thought It Couldn’t Get Any Worse…
Les Misérables (2019)

Sometimes, timing is everything. When the musical of the same name was finally filmed in 2012, we all thought, ‘How wonderful!’ And the songs were memorable, too.
Now, the CBC have started to show the BBC miniseries, with the first two episodes last night, and after a fitful night’s sleep, I want to express my concerns. After almost 10 months of lockdown, deprivations and death, I think it would have been better to show something uplifting instead. The title says it all, really.
Okay, so here’s why this is frightening. The French Revolution happened in 1789, as I’ve mentioned before. After the initial Reign of Terror, France was held under the sway of Napoleon, until his defeat at Waterloo, which is where this television series starts, 1815.
The subtlety of the timing is not lost on me. Is this what the world is watching on TV, in real time, now? By the end of the second episode, the date is 1820, 200 years ago.
Are we all Jean Valjean?

Paranoia: Fairy Tales in the Modern Age
“I Understand the Concept of Politics, Now”
Maybe I’m being cynical; maybe I’m being paranoid. Last Wednesday’s debacle in Washington, D.C. has made me take a serious look at the state of mind of a country at war with itself. I warned of this several times over the last five years, but who am I kidding? No one in the States listens to a Canadian, when he expresses his opinions.
If I’m honest, I have a point of view that is a little left of centre. That doesn’t mean I’m not able to see both sides of any question: what it means is that my instincts as an Aquarian will kick in when I detect bullsh*t. Another family member, whose birth date follows mine by one day (though one generation later), stated that ‘something’s rotten in the state of Denmark’. I know exactly what he means. My wife said, “I smell a rat!”
This book was penned at the end of the 19th century, and ostensibly involves events mere years later. A work of political satire, it chastises the rise of socialism and populism, inferring their fictional rise here as disastrous and leading to chaos.
It is of note here that this work, along with others by Lockwood, appears to prognosticate the current political climate of the United States and West at large – and for an apparent religious Catholic of his era, it is not altogether impossible that Lockwood – wittingly or unwittingly – tapped into some mystic forces. Regardless, it is an interesting little political story from its time and is reflective of some of the social ideologies and movements of the age.

It’s the subtitle that caught my eye, and a thought that won’t leave my head:
What if the “powers-that-be” want to end this ‘experiment’ of democracy?
It’s happened before. The Roman Republic lasted until Julius Caesar became Dictator.
After Caesar was assassinated, all hell broke loose: a civil war ensued, and the ultimate winner, Octavian, became the first Roman Emperor, Augustus Caesar.
But that’s not a fairy tale ending. Will the United States of America go the same way?

Possible Motive(s) for the Event of Last Wednesday
Storming of the Capitol Building (January 6, 2021)

People in a crowd are carried along by the energy of the crowd itself. On the inside of the crowd, a couple, friends of a family member, were there on the day, and told him that the crowd was peaceful and well behind the barriers, until the police used tear gas. Then the crowd surged forward, and although this couple wanted to leave the area, they were pushed forward by the people behind them. They said it felt like a wave.
It must have been a tsunami.

The Mars/Uranus conjunction is fairly wide at this point, but is still potent: a lightning strike. It will only get stronger as the days move forward, until the 20th of January when these two planets align at 6 degrees Taurus. Oh-oh.
Mars Conjunct Uranus
You are strongly freedom oriented, but the problem with your attitude toward authority is that you feel that any restriction is a threat to your being. Any kind of limitation brings out the disruptive side of your personality, and you put all your energy into asserting your own way of being. If you want to get along in the world, you must develop some self-discipline, although most people with this aspect manage to get their own way most of the time. These people are definitely eccentrics according to the rest of the world, and you will be also. Fortunately you have the courage to be your own person.
You also must learn that you don’t have to be against something just because somebody else is for it. If you do that, you can easily develop a closed mind, which will only cut you off from some possibly good ideas. If you learn to be more willing to hear other people’s ideas and then make up your own mind slowly and carefully, you should get what you want out of life.

When I first looked at this chart over 18 months ago, I realized that the planets all being in one section of the chart was reminiscent of the first atomic bomb being dropped on Hiroshima in 1945. That’s a warning!
Yesterday, I looked at the Storming of the Bastille in 1789. I compared the Capitol Breach with that event and the red lines criss-crossing the combined chart looked alarming. The above chart and the Bastille Storming chart combined looks even worse.

Donald Trump’s Reason for Inciting the Mob
(See, even the words I use are provocative. Imagine if I were the President and my fan base had come out to hear what I was going to say to them…)
Congress was voting on the confirmation of the Electoral College votes for Joe Biden as the 46th President. It’s their constitutional obligation to do so. Trump wanted them to overturn the election results. By ‘motivating’ Republicans, he hoped to achieve this as a last ditch effort to retain the Presidency. Yesterday, we heard reports that in the middle of the assault on the Capitol, Trump was trying to telephone wavering Senators to ‘coerce’ their compliance. His threat? The loud voices of his supporters outside.
Did he think that was ALL they were going to do? Foolish man.
