It Looks Like Fun, but Crime Doesn’t Pay in the End

The Courier (2024)

I saw this film, yesterday, on Netflix. Although originally in Spanish, it was dubbed into English, only showing subtitles when the cast were speaking in French or German. Also, the place names are written in Spanish, with their translated names below. Most of them were legible in their original language.

This is an adventure film about a young ‘chancer’ who couriers money across borders to help his bosses launder ill-gotten gains. There is a lot of violence, drug usage and sex, as you might expect from a business that is already breaking the law. There is also a fair amount of swearing, as you will see here:

Plot

The plot is set in 2002 against the backdrop of the beginning of circulation of the euro. It follows the rise of a young valet from Vallecas (Iván) through the ranks of an international cartel dedicated to money laundering.

Wikipedia

Watch at your own peril. It’s so full of testosterones, you might expect it be nothing but a wet dream.

But here’s the kicker: it is based on a series of sensational crimes that came to light in and around 2006. The use of TV news reports emphasizes the actual arrests and the eventual downgrading of Spain in financial markets. That is unusual: our (anti-)hero is the kingpin of the whole enterprise unravelling.

It’s a Weird Echo of the Mid-East’s Situation at Present

The Diplomat (2023 – present)

And yet another family recommendation, this time from a different branch. The show is a background look at what could happen if ‘someone’ attacks an British naval ship in the Persian Gulf. Hmm.

What trikes me as strange is the UK point of view that’s being presented here. I suspect that is because of the UK production of the show. Some things are made to make the US look bad. But since we’ve only watched two episodes, so far, we’ll have to wait and see.

I’ll say nothing more for the moment.

It’s Been Ten Days Since the 2024 US Elections

Is the USA a Going Concern?

You may see the Accounting implication in my question above. But it’s a moral one as well.

In other words, for the whole world, there are concerns going forward under Trump 2.0.

At present, America seems to be bankrupt, morally as well as financially. But it’s too big to fail, right?

The U.S. budget deficit grew to $1.833 trillion for fiscal 2024, the highest outside of the COVID era, as interest on the federal debt exceeded $1 trillion for the first time and spending grew for the Social Security retirement program, health care and the military, the Treasury Department said on Friday.

The deficit for the year ended Sept. 30 was up 8%, or $138 billion, from the $1.695 trillion recorded in fiscal 2023. It was the third-largest federal deficit in U.S. history, after the pandemic relief-driven deficits of $3.132 trillion in fiscal 2020 and $2.772 trillion in fiscal 2021.

Perhaps a picture would be worth a thousand words:

If Donald Trump has his way, the sky’s the limit, as the country sinks under the weight of its debt load.

We shall see.

Following on from Yesterday’s Post:

The Seven Directions of the Medicine Wheel

I’ve written about this before. Now, I’d like to match this spiritual knowledge from the Native culture to our understanding of chakra energy.

On a two-dimensional flat image (see above), there are only five energies visible. Missing, but implied, are the Above (Sky) energy and the Below (Earth) energy. In our chakra system, these would represent the Crown chakra and the Base chakra, our Godhead and Devil natures. The centre is “Great Spirit”, the true balance point of the whole system. In the Tree of Life, this is represented by #6 Beauty and the Heart chakra in the human body. But don’t take my word for it.

5 “Lord,” said Thomas, “we do not know where You are going, so how can we know the way?”

6 Jesus answered, “I am the way and the truth and the life. No one comes to the Father except through Me. 7 If you had known Me, you would know My Father as well. From now on you do know Him and have seen Him.”

John 14:5-7 (Berean Standard Bible)

This question and answer sequence follows Jesus’ statement that “In My Father’s house are many rooms.” Even the Gospel of John numbering system seems to support the #6 Tree of Life position.

This should be an ‘a-ha’ moment for many people.

Chakras: Our Bodies’ Own Tree of Life

One Picture is Worth a Thousand Words

2.3 Jesus saw some little ones at the breast. He said to his disciples: “These little ones at the breast are like those who enter into the kingdom.” They said to him: “Then if we be little ones, shall we enter the kingdom?” Jesus said to them: “When you make the two one, and when you make the inside as the outside, and the outside as the inside, and the upper side as the lower side; and when you make the male and the female into a single one, that the male be not male nor the female female; when you make eyes in the place of an eye, and a hand in place of a hand, and a foot in place of a foot, an image in place of an image, then you will enter into [the kingdom].” (Th. 22)

It Was Meant to Be a Secret Code for Initiates Only

Version 1.0.0

The Thomas Code (2018)

From the very beginning, I recognized that the Gospel of Thomas was something special. Unfortunately, it has confounded scholars who cannot make head nor tail of it, because they were missing the hidden code. S.P. Laurie uncovered that code and wrote a book about it. Now, it all makes sense.

Originally, there were 108 sayings, not 114. That means the Gospel was formatted around the number of the Goddess. This is important, because, in its own way, these sayings come from the Holy Spirit, directly. The code is 3-2-3-2-3. As soon as I saw that, I had an echo of the first sentence in Genesis, which, when numbers are substituted for the Hebrew letters, yields 31313, the Trinity.

It should be stressed that the Thomas Code is not some random “Bible code” that has been found by searching a vast number of possibilities by computer. It is very different—a beautiful expression of some simple mathematics of prime numbers. The ancients did not look at mathematics the way we do, but saw it in mystical terms, as revealing religious secrets about the universe. This was as true of pagans as it was Jews and Christians. The Thomas Code is based on the unique properties of the first three prime numbers; two, three and five. The author of Thomas developed a theological interpretation in which two was the number of Jesus, the Son, and three was the number of God, the Father. In The Thomas Code, I suggest that this is how the concept of the trinity originated.

Water Into Wine

I’m about a fifth of the way through my first reading of this book, so I expect I will get more insights later. In the meantime, let me leave you with this:

We Are All Part of a Community of Astrologers

Helena Woods (May 17, 1994)

Ellie Dreams Down Under mentioned Helena’s YouTube channel last night. Helena, who lives in France, generally does astrocartography, which is the study of where (and when) to relocate.

Last year, she posted a political astrology video which examined Trump’s chart, comparing it to the next administration, the upcoming transits and possible 2024 election results. As Trump was facing off with Biden, Helena decided that Trump would be the next president. Then, one month ago, she changed that projection to Harris winning. Last week, she aired a video suggesting that Trump may hold the position of 47 for a while, but that Harris may ultimately succeed. She has received a lot of hateful comments since then. Admittedly, that’s what most of the empaths and spiritual Tarot readers are also saying.

This is Helena’s (self-proclaimed) accurate birth chart. There are two connected Yods, linking Mercury and Pluto as the two apexes. I won’t delineate these inconjuncts, as it’s not my place to do so.

If you want to understand what Helena’s life is like, watch “Emily in Paris”. The echoes look so similar.

If You Sift Through All of the “Facts” a Truth is Revealed

Jesus: A New Vision (2020)

It is very seldom that I read a book from beginning to the very end, these days. This book, I did.

So the reality of Jesus’ life and death comes down to the fact that the Shroud of Turin might actually be true: it is his burial cloth and his resurrection ‘flash of light’ may have imprinted his body’s image on it.

So, now this takes me back to my original feeling in the 1970’s that it was an authentic relic and that it proved that not only did Jesus exist, but that he still exists in a Light Body. And it’s no longer just a matter of faith in that belief: it’s a Truth. You can take that to the Vault of Heaven.

Amen.

The Experiment that Proved Anyone Can Be a Fascist

The Third Wave (April 5, 1967)

My son, Derek, sent me the link to this Wikipedia page. It’s informative and not really surprising. After all, when it comes to our own welfare and security, we always want to be in control, even if we’re really being controlled by someone or something else.

Since the Wikipedia report had a specific date and time in its notes, I wondered if I could raise a chart.

Since this is the fifth and final day of the experiment, it only stands to reason that Jupiter would be on the Cancer Ascendant. After all, this was an experiment to teach the students a lesson from history.

Fifth and final day

The students all arrived at 11:50 a.m. Jones had convinced a number of his friends to pose as reporters, and asked the students to demonstrate what they had learned in the minutes before the televised address would supposedly begin. He then led them in shouting chants of “Strength through discipline! Strength through community! Strength through action!” He turned on the TV placed in the middle of the room. Rather than a televised address of their leader, the students were presented with an empty channel. After a few minutes of waiting, Jones announced that they had been a part of an experiment in fascism and that they all had willingly created a sense of superiority, much as German citizens had done in the period of Nazi Germany. He then apologized to them for how far it all had gone, and played them a film about the Nazi regime to conclude the experiment.

Patrick Brown is in the News Again

An Unwitting Agent for the Government of India?

Do you recall the circumstances surrounding Patrick Brown’s expulsion from the Conservative Party of Canada leadership race in July 2022? At the time, I was suspicious of the CPC’s motivation. It was presumed that it was just a leadership vote grab by Pierre Poilievre, but now the truth has been revealed by The Fifth Estate program, in a repeat episode shown last night. The last five minutes tell the tale.

Now it turns out that Brown’s massive support from his Brampton constituents may have been an attempt by India to prevent Poilievre from becoming the leader of the Conservative Party. That’s political interference. Is it any wonder that Poilievre keeps trying to bait Trudeau into revealing the names of any Conservatives that were indicated by the security services as being witting or unwitting agents of India?

This is timely, folks. The social unrest between Sikhs and Hindus that recently exploded in Surrey, BC, has spilled over in the city of Brampton, Ontario, where Patrick Brown is mayor. Hmm.

Are the chickens coming home to roost?
