The American public are down to the final two weeks of the 2024 election cycle, and probably for the first time in my experience, I can see some sleight-of-hand going on in the main stream media (MSM).
It’s nothing new, of course, but maybe this time I’ve been paying closer attention. Headlines touting that the race for President is a dead heat seem to say that Democrats shouldn’t rest on their laurels. If people don’t get out the vote, the ‘wrong’ side will win and chaos will ensue. The implied threat of violence is meant to put people off from voting Democrat, because MAGA will try to Stop the Steal again.
But that’s not all: DJT has been at it again, saying outrageous things just to get coverage for anything and everything he does or says. He’s seems desperate, but that may be just the media trying to get out the Republican vote. He also is being pictured as ‘exhausted’ and otherwise unhealthy, mentally and physically. Let’s face it: his assertion that Biden was too old to govern has now boomeranged on him.
Trump has also denigrated his opponent as ‘stupid’. That’s ridiculous, of course, since Kamala Harris can win any argument she partakes in. But, if he were civil, instead of nasty, he would do much better with undecided voters.
It was an off-hand remark by Dr. Justin Sledge that alerted me to a connection between Ms. Scott and Taylor Swift. (See, I do get my inspirations from the most unlikely of sources.)
The timing is randomized, so I wouldn’t count on it being accurate, and yet, two placements in this chart was remarkable. Neptune in the 7th House relates to her age of 31 years.
In 1871 her famous poem, “Hesperia” was published. This poem, a book of some 250 pages, was dedicated to the future world Republic and the future Brotherhood of the World. It attracted the attention of the scholars and statesmen of the nation and it became very popular. It was allegorical in content, the characters presented in the style of Greek Mythology. It describes the coming Federation of the World, with the ultimate universality of people and the positive application of the “Golden Rule.” In it were predictions of world wars and the ultimate fall of European Governments; the apparent loss of culture and morality; the growth of materialism and finally the corrective method for recovery by the growth of understanding of Spirit. In reading the book, one would almost think that the author was describing the trend of the present times from observation. Hesperia, a beautiful woman, (in reality the Spirit of Liberty) having traveled over the World, unites with Justice to find a Haven of Hope in America. These are some of the lines written in 1871:
Europe shall feel my breath, ere while She loathes me and my children, But she waits until slow tyranny Unlocks the gates. Sandaled with plumes of thought,
Her spirit sent its living form Across the continent, A thousand leagues, on its Great purpose bent.
Another gem of thought from the lips of Hesperia: “Matter reveals God’s form, but Truth reveals His Soul.”
The other placement is Jupiter in the 4th House @ 15° Scorpio 30′ (age 5) This position makes Jupiter inconjunct to the Midheaven.. Evidently, Cora was a child medium who gradually rose to prominence by age 12 or 13. That would relate to the conjunction of Saturn and the Moon in her chart. Hmm.
Taylor Swift (December 13, 1989)
Taylor Swift’s birth time is unknown, so other astrology sites have rectified her birth chart to bring Mars into focus for the Ascendant.
As a result, the Moon is inconjunct Venus, and that may account for how the public loves her so much.
But Are They Connected Reincarnationally?
This is where it gets weird. Normally, my response would be non-committal, but the link-up of at least two close pairs of planets makes me question the validity of the presumption that they are not the same soul in two different incarnations.
Swift’s Sun is (almost exactly) conjunct Scott’s Saturn (@ 21° Sagittarius 22′). At the same time Swift’s Pluto is exactly 1° from Scott’s Jupiter (@ 15° Scorpio 30′). Finally, Swift’s North Node is within 5° of Scott’s Neptune @ 14° Aquarius 40′). Because these planets in Scott’s chart were highlighted above, I think they are a sign of something significant. What do you think?
There’s Another Turn of the Cosmic Wheel Coming Soon
The United States of America was born after a revolution. Modern France also went through a revolution to recreate itself. Both events happened in the second half of the 18th Century. The most visible, astrologically, happened when the common folk stormed the Bastille on July 14, 1789.
Notice all the planets lining up in the 9th House.
If you need to take a step back and think about life again, go to the ninth house in astrology. It will help you find the bigger picture and give you a deeper understanding. The ninth house in the natal chart is about two things: expansion and understanding.
It is the house of philosophy, wisdom, foreign travel, higher education.
In much the same way, the actions taken by Trump’s MAGA “Army” resulted in an insurrection that almost became another revolution. (The peasants were revolting.) This time it didn’t succeed.
I’d looked at this before, under the banner of “misinformation”. Now, I’m seeing the echo of planets in the 9th House. Have we learned anything? Putting the two charts together shows us the resulting opposition between what happened in the past and what happened in the present. Interesting, eh?
The spirit of revolution is to overthrow that which is oppressing the people. Government, by its very nature, wants to control the masses, hopefully for the benefit of all, not just the rich and privileged.
Four years ago, American Democracy dodged a bullet. Will they make the same mistake again by electing Donald J Trump to another term as President? Let’s hope not: lesson learned.
In the run-up to Hallowe’en, TV and streaming services have a penchant for trying to weird us out.
Normally, Susan and I wouldn’t touch this type of entertainment with a barge pole. But Susan’s family kept telling her that this series is ‘wonderful’, so, obviously, we had to see what’s going on. We have seen the first two episodes, and, no doubt, will see more, but will we get through all thirty episodes? Who knows.
This is another TV series filmed in Canada, this time in Nova Scotia. My clue was the actor who plays the minister is a long-time member of the “This Hour Has 22 Minutes” show on the CBC.
Shaun Majumder as Father Rudra Khatri
My opinion is watch at your own peril. The episodes (seen so far) contain unresolved tensions that you carry away with you into your ordinary life. If you are extra sensitive, give this horror show a miss.
This man is the founder of Opus Dei. He is revered for his plain speaking and grass roots approach to spirituality. Here is a YouTube video about his life.
He was 26 years old when he “saw” Opus Dei. That information allowed me to rectify his birth chart.
Neptune marks the spot. Pluto is inconjunct to his Sun/Saturn conjunction in Capricorn. I suspect Pluto matches the time of his life when he joined the Roman Catholic Church. That’s a fully loaded 1st House.
When you combine his birth chart with the Opus Dei chart, you get an interesting echo.
The event Mars is almost exactly conjunct his natal Neptune. That’s amazing to me. Could it be any clearer? I don’t think so.
Any speculation that Opus Dei is the hidden hand in today’s work is effectively disproved. I mean, imagine fundamental Christians of a Southern Baptist persuasion being ‘influenced’ by such a Catholic organization: it would be an impossibility. The interactive Yod, pointing at his natal Uranus, is formed by the event’s Moon and Pluto. Escrivá‘s Part of Fortune is conjunct his natal Uranus. This man was born to build a new way of being for the masses.
During the Spanish Civil War he personally experienced the fury of anti-religious persecution and gave daily proof of heroism in a constant priestly activity seasoned with abundant prayer and penance. It did not take long before many came to consider him a saint. When the war was over many bishops invited him to preach retreats to their clergy, thereby greatly contributing to the renewal of Christian life in Spain. Many religious orders and congregations also requested his pastoral services. At the same time, God allowed him to suffer public attacks. He responded invariably with pardon, to the point of considering his detractors as benefactors. But this Cross was such a source of blessings from heaven that the Servant of God’s apostolate spread with astonishing speed.
John Paul II
That couldn’t be said of many of the present day clergy.
We know about this Catholic organization from the writings by Dan Brown. The Da Vinci Code has it as the unseen hand of the Church attempting to rid the world of any potential descendant(s) of the marriage of Jesus and Mary Magdalen. It was fiction, of course, but one has to wonder.
My reason for looking at this organization as the Deep State stems from the fact that Republicans often point at the Democrats as operating under its control. That idea may be a total projection.
Whether or not it exists as a way of bringing about “God’s Work” is totally subjective. I guess it depends on which side you’re on.
Opus Dei was founded by Josemaría Escrivá de Balaguer on 2 October 1928 in Madrid, Spain. According to Escrivá, on that day he experienced a vision in which he “saw Opus Dei”. He gave the organization the name “Opus Dei”, which in Latin means “Work of God”, in order to underscore the belief that the organization was not his (Escrivá’s) work, but was rather God’s work. Throughout his life, Escriváheld that the founding of Opus Dei had a supernatural character. Escrivá summarized Opus Dei’s mission as a way of helping ordinary Christians “to understand that their life… is a way of holiness and evangelization… And to those who grasp this ideal of holiness, the Work offers the spiritual assistance and training they need to put it into practice.”

Here is the chart for the spiritual event. I have chosen 9:30 am as the starting point.
There are four inconjuncts, only one of which depends on the time of day.
Sun Inconjunct Jupiter
This aspect has possibilities for positive and helpful energy. You may be a very optimistic person who helps people in need at the crucial moment. If so, others will help you when you need it. If you can control yourself and keep from going overboard, you will find that you can be quite lucky. But don’t assume that luck will always carry you through. Work as hard as you can to get what you want and act fairly and honestly with others; then the luck will be there.
Planets in Youth (pages 83-4) by Roberts Hand (1977)
Mercury Inconjunct Uranus
Your mind moves quickly from topic to topic, often without pausing long enough for you to understand what you have learned. And if there is a lot of excitement or activity around you, your mind may race so fast to keep up with it all that you work yourself into a state of nervous frenzy. Under these circumstances it is almost impossible for you to concentrate or do any useful mental work.
Ibid (pages 166-7)
Venus Inconjunct Uranus
You feel mixed up about whether you want to be close to others or be free. When you are really close to a loved one, you feel smothered and want to get away by yourself to do what you want. But when you are alone and free to do what you want, you miss your loved ones and want to be with them. It will take you several years to understand yourself enough so that you can strike a balance between these two needs, so be patient.
Ibid (page 201)
Uranus Inconjunct Ascendant
Your need for freedom may interfere with your close relationships. When you are with others, even those you like, you feel very restless but you can’t get up and leave because you want to be with them. This is typical of the ambiguity that comes with this transit. Certainly, the more others try to restrict your freedom of movement, the more you try to get away.
Ibid (page 322)
I suppose I could have done a birth chart for the Catholic priest who started it all, but I think I’ll save that for another time.
This is not a ‘nice’ man. I don’t think he ever wanted to be ‘nice’. His birth chart is randomized, so take its authenticity with a pinch of salt.
I thought that the resulting Pluto in Cancer in the 12th House (of the Unconscious) gives us a similar vibe to Trump’s Pluto placement. There are three inconjuncts, but I am loathe to delineate them. Experienced astrologers will be able to make up their own minds, here.
The combined charts of Trump and Cohn show where their energies line up: Trump’s Mercury is conjunct (within 6°) of Cohn’s Pluto; Cohn’s Moon is conjunct Trump’s Jupiter; Trump’s Mars is conjunct Cohn’s Neptune. The interactive Yod, pointing at Cohn’s Jupiter is formed by inconjuncts to Trump’s Neptune and Pluto. There is also a Yod pointing at Cohn’s Saturn, formed by inconjuncts to Trump’s Mercury and Midheaven. These, more or less, prove their relationship to each other.
In the end, Trump discarded Cohn, just like he does everyone else who has served their purpose,
Sometimes the lines become blurred between reality and fiction.
This beer has been around for almost one hundred years. I’ve been drinking it since the mid-1990’s. Of course, the version that I know has slightly less alcoholic content than the Belgium version. And in the UK, it has a terrible reputation for causing violent tendencies, especially in their hooligan young men.
So, is the hype justified? Since Stella Artois was launched in 1926 as a Christmas (star) beer, I figured that I could do a chart dated December 1st at noon, to capture its cosmic energies. There are three inconjuncts, only two of which can be ‘relied upon’ and which form a Yod, pointing at Uranus, bearing in mind that the date and the time are speculative, to the nth degree.
Moon Inconjunct Uranus (perhaps)
With this aspect you must learn to control sudden outbursts of emotion that occur at difficult times when you least expect it. Also your present home life may not be a stable situation in which you can grow up emotionally secure and confident.
Planets in Youth (page 130) by Robert Hand (1977)
Uranus Inconjunct Neptune (for sure)
This aspect indicates a generation that had mixed feelings about its ideals and how to implement them. States of conscious beyond the ordinary are very confusing to them, and they prefer not to get involved with such matters.
Ibid (page 318)
Pluto Inconjunct Midheaven (maybe)
You may have trouble with older people who try to teach you how to effectively take control of your life. To a great extent, your path in life will be shaped by your early confrontations with authority figures.
Ibid (page 357)
I know this sounds weird, but these aspects indicate a reluctance to grow up, and an active refusal to do so. That means that the beer born in this time frame definitely influences the younger drinkers who just want to have fun. I guess that’s why it doesn’t quite have the same effect on me, since I was over 45 when I started drinking it.
Quirky, intelligent, fun: and that describes the main character, Morgan.
The show centers on Morgan, a single mother with three kids who is a cleaning lady for the Los Angeles Police Department. She is also a high potential intellectual, with an IQ of 160. After figuring out a case using her unconventional mind, she becomes a consultant for the LAPD’s Major Crimes division.

My suggestion is that you watch a couple of episodes before jumping to any conclusion about it.
