Just Fox News Spin? But He Has Criticized Bragg’s Case

Mitt Romney (March 12, 1947)

I am usually circumspect when it comes to calling out politicians (in any country) for their disingenuous comments about events outside their purview. In this case, I couldn’t help but wonder why Romney has been quoted as saying that Melvin Bragg‘s prosecution of Trump was a ‘political decision’ which amounts to ‘malpractice’. Really? Only a year or so ago, political pundits were calling Bragg’s ‘risk adverse’ inaction ‘treason’. Can’t win if you do, can’t win if you don’t.

So, I decided to look at Mitt Romney’s birth chart to see why he would say such a thing.

Oh-oh. An almost exact Moon/Jupiter conjunction (in Scorpio) in opposition to his Gemini Ascendant will do that. And an inconjunct linking Mercury and Pluto will do that, too.

Mercury Inconjunct Pluto

On the negative side, however, you might misuse this ability [to understand how people’s minds work] by trying to control people’s thoughts and words. Also you may love mysteries so much that you get involved in complicated plots and arrangements with your friends. You may enjoy working in secret and creating an air of mystery about yourself, but this could backfire and make others misunderstand you or even fear what you are doing. It is important to show people that you are honest and that you are not hiding anything. Otherwise they will probably suspect you, even if you are totally innocent. And if you aren’t, they will know it for certain.

I also have this aspect, so my finger pointing is reflecting back on myself threefold.

So, what can I say?

Amen to that.

I’m Finally Going to Bite the Bullet

Philo Complete Works (2017)

This may prove to be a hard slog. The book is very long, and the works are very dry, mainly because each chapter is written as a philosophical treatise But, I suspect, there will be many gems contained therein, like this bit:

And he says that the world was made in six days, not because the Creator stood in need of a length of time (for it is natural that God should do everything at once, not merely by uttering a command, but by even thinking of it); but because the things created required arrangement; and number is akin to arrangement; and, of all numbers, six is, by the laws of nature, the most productive: for of all the numbers, from the unit upwards, it is the first perfect one, being made equal to its parts, and being made complete by them; the number three being half of it, and the number two a third of it, and the unit a sixth of it, and, so to say, it is formed so as to be both male and female, and is made up of the power of both natures; for in existing things the odd number is the male, and the even number is the female;

None of this is new, of course, but I am inspired by the ideas which I have covered before being highlighted here.

I shall report back, over the next coming months, of anything that I discover while reading this book.

What a Person Says is Actually What is in Their Heart

Projection

Psychological projection is a defence mechanism of alterity concerning “inside” content mistaken to be coming from the “outside” Other. It forms the basis of empathy by the projection of personal experiences to understand someone else’s subjective world. In its malignant forms, it is a defense mechanism in which the ego defends itself against disowned and highly negative parts of the self by denying their existence in themselves and attributing them to others, breeding misunderstanding and causing untold interpersonal damage. Projection incorporates blame shifting and can manifest as shame dumping. Projection has been described as an early phase of introjection.

Wikipedia

So, if you hear someone saying that ‘These people are evil,” remember that they are projecting onto others what they know to be true in themselves, but won’t admit to the wider world. (And you know who I mean…)

Would you support him as your lord and saviour?

27 “Woe to you, teachers of the law and Pharisees, you hypocrites! You are like whitewashed tombs, which look beautiful on the outside but on the inside are full of the bones of the dead and everything unclean. 28 In the same way, on the outside you appear to people as righteous but on the inside you are full of hypocrisy and wickedness.

Is This Man the UK Version of Trump?

Nigel Farage (April 3, 1964)

I’ve tried to ignore his presence on the world stage, but somehow he cannot let go of the idea that the UK is waiting for him to be Prime Minister. Really? (Stranger things have happened, to be sure, like Brexit.) This man was the architect of the UK’s exit from the European Union, so one never knows.

The effect of a 1st House (of Personality) containing the planet Pluto (conjunct Ascendant in Virgo) cannot be overstated. Remember that Trump has his Pluto in the 12th House (of the Unconscious) while his Mars is in the 1st House. So, the energy is similar.

His Astrological Fingerprints Are All Over Brexit

See what I mean? (I don’t think I need to spell it out for you.)

Still, his energy has been met with a McDonald’s milkshake or two, over the years. Here’s the latest one:

Just one quote from him should suffice:

Hmm.

Since I Hitched My Wagon to His Star, His is Mine, Too

Emperor Vespasian (July 1, 69 AD – June 23, 79 AD)

One of the most confusing things that I’ve encountered during my search for a past life in 1st Century Rome is the difficulty in nailing anyone down to my exact planetary coordinates in my birth chart. Vespasian comes closest, and yet, I don’t resonate with his persona, or his energy. Tiberius Julius Alexander fits me better. However, I am coming to the conclusion that my past life then may be coloured by some aspect of conformity with the people and events of that time period. In fact, I surmised that I was born in 10 AD, based on the position of Saturn in my birth chart.

Because nothing is known for certain about Tiberius Julius Alexander’s birth and death, I have only Vespasian’s charts to compare with my birth chart.

What I wasn’t expecting was the flipflop of Vespasian’s ‘fatal’ North Node and my natal South Node being within 1°. His becoming Emperor is highlighted by Saturn being there, as well as his natal Saturn also. It implies he might have been like a father to me. My natal Pluto is within 2° of his natal Moon. Hmm. His ‘fatal’ Moon is conjunct my Part of Fortune. My natal Neptune is conjunct his natal Pluto. My natal Uranus is conjunct to his ‘fatal’ Sun and Emperor Sun. My natal Sun is within 5° of his ‘fatal’ Pluto. My Ascendant is conjunct his ‘fatal’ Part of Fortune and his natal Mercury. What is going on, here?

I hate to suggest that I may actually have been Vespasian, instead of TJA. But, then, I’m reminded of the fact that my natal Mars is conjunct my South Node. I was a soldier in the service of the Roman Empire.

I was never an Emperor.

In a Weird Twist of Fate, This Story Played Out in WWI

The Killing of a Wounded Soldier

During my past life regression in early 1980, I experienced what it was like to have an enemy soldier beg me to end his life on the battlefield, rather than to stay wounded there. It took me back, in my memory to my death in Roman times, when my slave couldn’t save me from an angry mob.

Here’s a quote from the book about Tiberius Julius Alexander:

Always the first, my brother climbed and … and then” the soldier stopped as his throat tightened, and after a pause continued, “those monsters poured boiling oil down on the legionnaires climbing the ladders.” He stopped again and gulped. “My brother fell and lay on the ground screaming in agony. I went up to him and said, ‘Claudio, this is your brother. Do you hear me?'

"‘Yes, yes,’ he mumbled through burnt lips. ‘I can't stand it. Kill me, kill me. I can't stand the pain. I plead, kill me.'

"And I said," the soldier continued, "‘Jupiter forgive me,’ and I slit my brother’s throat.”

Daniel M. Friedenberg. Tiberius Julius Alexander: A Historical Novel (Kindle Locations 1770-1773). Kindle Edition.

So, I have to ask myself: Was I remembering a ‘real’ incident, or just recounting a story that I’d heard?

Hmm.

In the Trump Jury, One Juror Appeared to Be for Him

But Even That Person Voted to Convict Him on All 34 Counts

The reason I’m even going here, five days after the jury decision, is to demonstrate that the prosecution’s case against Donald J. Trump was beyond a reasonable doubt. There are conflicting stories about who Juror #2 was, but others have noted that at least this one person followed X and Truth Social.

Several ‘otherworldly’ channels discussed that there might be a hung jury due to one of them being a fan of 45. Dave Johnson, in particular, ‘saw’ this individual changing their mind during the witness testimonies, long before the jury deliberations started. Ellie Dreams Down Under did a tarot reading which said much the same thing. (And I have always said that some outcomes are known at a higher level of being.) Trump, himself, said that the jury was 95% Democrat. He had his fingers crossed.

In the end, a young man prophesied that God told him not to worry if Trump got convicted, that He was always in control. Here’s the video as proof:

Troy Black was obviously hoping for a better result.

“Be still and know that I am God.”

The Repeat of CBS’ Christmas Special was on Last Night

Dick Van Dyke: 98 Years of Magic (2023)

We missed it the first time it was aired, last December. As a song and dance extravaganza, it was wonderful. For being a young 98-year-old, DVD was fully involved in the presentation of the show. At the end, he seemed to be overcome with emotion, but he didn’t cry on cue; he’s too much of a professional to do that. I also suspected at the beginning that “Mary Poppins” would dominate the show.

And who knew that Jason Alexander could sing and dance?

At any rate, there were lots of singing and lots of dancing, and quite a few looks back on DVD’s career. In the end, it was two hours of great entertainment, and love for the man. Bless you ,Dick Van Dyke, for filling our lives and our children’s lives with so much fun and laughter.

Carrying the Burden of Humanity on Her Shoulders

Atlas (2024)

This film is not a favourite of critics, but is one of the most watched in Netflix history, at least in its first week of streaming. It has been described as ‘clunky’ ‘far-fetched’ and late 20th century in reviews given, but it doesn’t matter: the world has a thirst for most things AI, and how humanity can overcome ‘evil’ to triumph for the future.

Atlas Shepherd (Lopez), a brilliant but misanthropic data analyst with a deep distrust of artificial intelligence, joins a mission to capture a renegade robot with whom she shares a mysterious past. But when plans go awry, her only hope of saving the future of humanity from AI is to trust it.

IMDb

  • Atlas Shepherd: I like both.
  • Smith: Sorry?
  • Atlas Shepherd: When we first met, you asked me if I like pie or cake. I don’t care, I like both. And it’s not that I hate AI, Smith. The truth is… I don’t actually like anybody. People always disappoint. But not you. I like you.

This is the ultimate lone wolf film. No one knows or understands the enemy that she helped create, albeit accidently. Being in sync with Smith helps Atlas overcome the advantages that Harlan has over almost everyone who exists. This is an Herculean task.

“We’re Caught in a Trap, We Can’t Walk Out…”

The Original Trinity: Anu, Enki and Enlil

As I have said many, many times, I am a Gnostic Christian. To some, that may seem a contradiction in terms, but I can assure you that it makes sense when trying to find the middle way of spiritual knowledge.

Eight years ago, I referenced a book that turned my worldview upside down. Suddenly, the good guys looked bad, and the bad guys looked good. What was going on? The fact that the story may have been about the creation myth before the Bible changed it up, just adds to the mystery. Have we been lied to?

Because Enki is equated with the Serpent in the Garden of Eden, he has been painted as the villain in our human story. Enlil is equated with Yahweh, the One God of the Hebrews. Do you see why Gnostics say that the ruler of this world is evil, the Demiurge? Now, no one really knows who is who.

In the Greek versions of the ancient gods, Enki is Poseidon, Enlil is Zeus.

Oh, dear, what’s a body to think?
