Faith and the Power of Positivity: “You Can Do It”

On a Wing and a Prayer (2023)

We watched this film on Prime Video. It is based on a true story of a family in peril after their pilot dies.

It had us on the edge of our seats, even knowing intuitively that it would turn out alright in the end. The line quoted in my title is a phrase that the wife says to her husband and her children many, many times.

Sometimes You Have to “Let Go” and Trust the Process

The unseen threads of human interaction actually achieved this miracle over the course of one day, but often it takes a lot longer as Chris Bledsoe discovered, which he discussed in his book “UFO of God”.

It wasn’t until Easter 2019, that he had his third and most significant vision of the White Lady (although in his book he only hinted at their interaction).

Instead of the night before Easter, as had been the case during two consecutive visits in 2012 and 2013, she waited until the end of the day. Now, I originally posted this chart as 10 pm, but I think it could have been later and would then have formed a Cosmic Cross, highlighting the Moon in the 12th House (of the Unconscious). The rectified chart is the one now shown. At any rate, it was a significant encounter.

Evidently, she told him of a coming ‘tribulation’, which we now understand to be COVID-19. Having been previously healed by her of Crohn’s disease, in 2012, he’d been suffering increasingly with Rheumatoid arthritis since then. However, the coronavirus had a silver lining for Chris.

I knew I was fragile and booked an appointment with my doctor in early March. Covid was close to getting to North Carolina, but the appointment was important enough to keep.

We talked and my doctor recommended quitting my immunosuppressants and prednisone. By mid-March I was totally off of both. Eventually Yvonne, Emily, and Emily’s husband got sick with the virus, and I had to quarantine out in my workshop. Eventually everyone in the family except me got Covid. I spent six weeks alone out there, and slowly noticed my joints weren’t aching quite as much.

What had changed? Chris had taken some good advice and had started praying for himself, instead of everyone else. Part of that round of prayers resulted in him stopping the medication, which had been interfering with his health. Since then he is completely pain-free. Such is the power of prayer.

The other book I’m reading right now is Cash Peters’ “The Illustrated Law of Attraction”.

The real secret to manifesting, it seems to me, is not to expend colossal amounts of energy chasing the objects of your desire, but rather to relax into your inner Divine sanctuary, and use that point of higher connection to create an energetic environment that allows Unseen Forces to bring the objects of your desire to you.

Is the Universe trying to tell me something, or am I just following my intuition? (I recommend it.)

On the CBS Evening News, for the Last Two Nights

I Caught a Glimpse of a Sign Like This One:

It was during their weather forecast segment (and the image wasn’t exactly like this).

Ordinarily, I wouldn’t have even noticed, but this is where Chris Bledsoe lives, and where he experienced the bulk of his “orb” sightings. Go figure, eh?

The Day that El Cid Rode into History as a Legend

Rodrigo Diaz de Vivar (Died: July 10, 1099)

We know the story from the movie El Cid, starring Charlton Heston.

Coming on the heels of Ben-Hur, this film made an even greater impression on me.

Legend of posthumous victory

After his demise, but still during the siege of Valencia, legend holds that Jimena ordered that the corpse of El Cid be fitted with his armor and set on his horse, Babieca, to bolster the morale of his troops. In several variations of the story, the dead Rodrigo and his knights win a thundering charge against Valencia’s besiegers, resulting in a war-is-lost-but-battle-is-won catharsis for generations of Christian Spaniards to follow. It is believed that the legend originated shortly after Jimena entered Burgos, and that it is derived from the manner in which Jimena’s procession rode into the city, i.e. alongside her deceased husband.

Wikipedia

Here’s El Cid’s death chart for that fateful day in 1099.

I set the clock for noon, the usual method when the exact time of death is unknown. The final battle was obviously set for the late afternoon, as shown by the shadows in the movie. The rest is history.

Last night, as I was going to bed, I asked who Diaz returned as in the present time. I got the answer this morning.

Dan Millman (February 22, 1946)

It makes sense: the Peaceful Warrior, himself. Then I realized that I had never done a birth chart for Dan Millman.

Hmm. A Yod is pointing at Venus. How appropriate! But was I grasping at straws? Obviously, many lifetimes have passed in the almost 847 years since El Cid’s death. All I needed to see were some connections between his death chart and Millman’s birth chart.

Happily, the 6° conjunction between Dan’s South Node and Diaz’ ‘fatal’ North Node in Sagittarius is enough for me. There are other close links between the charts, but I’m content with the connections, as they are.

What do you think?

New Insight: Charlton Heston and Two Jewish Stories

Ben-Hur and Moses

Last night, Rogers internet went down for an hour or so. To pass the time, I picked up the book about Charlton Heston and continued reading about his time filming Ben-Hur. What I hadn’t expected was this observation by the author, Marc Eliot, who suggested that Ben-Hur is a modern re-telling of the Moses story, substituting the Romans for the Egyptians. That was a revelation to me.

Although Ben-Hur was supposed to be a film based on the power and influence of Jesus Christ, there is very little Jesus in it (compared with The Ten Commandments, where Moses, also a “son” of God in a sense, is in virtually every scene)[…] Wyler’s Ben-Hur is the story of Jesus as seen through the eyes of someone who encounters him only once, before the day of his crucifixion, but whose whole life, externally and internally, changes because of it. Not surprisingly, the moment Jesus gives the enslaved Ben-Hur a sip of water is arguably the best scene in the film, certainly the most affecting (nicely echoed in reverse when Ben-Hur gives water to Jesus while he struggles to carry his cross to Calvary), because it is the most personal, with Wyler shooting it as an obvious allusion to Michelangelo’s Creation of Adam. Everything that preceded and follows it, including the chariot race scene where one could say Ben-Hur wins because the hand of God is guiding him, leads up to and comes out of that moment.

Page 171 – Charlton Heston (2017) Rebel Road Inc, New York

Heston, as Moses in The Ten Commandments, is wooden, hiding behind (and inside) the costumes and makeup of the role. In Ben-Hur, he is stripped down and emotionally vulnerable, which is why he ended up winning the Best Actor Oscar for the role.

General Lew Wallace (April 10, 1827 – February 15, 1905)

I have read an original facsimile edition of Ben-Hur, with illustrations. It seemed to me to be a great historical novel, but one that skirts the edges of the Life of Christ, while acknowledging that Jesus was a real person. And, although it also suggested that there was a person who was a Jewish Price named Judah Ben-Hur, the only major reference to Hur in the Bible goes back to Exodus, naming him as a companion of Moses and Aaron. Because Hur was a member of the tribe of Judah, Wallace naming his Prince of Judah, Judah Ben-Hur, was a stroke of genius.

However, I Chronicles calls Hur himself the father of Bethlehem.

Wikipedia

Do you see how the circle comes around again, with Jesus’ birth in a stable in Bethlehem? Hmm.

My guess is that Wallace was ‘inspired’ to make the link between a son of Hur (previously connected to Moses) and the Son of God, Jesus. Which all goes to show that Hollywood made the same connection using Charlton Heston as the actor for both these films.

Amen.

The Clue to the Connection was His Birth Date

Isaac Newton (December 25, 1642 – March 20, 1727)

Every day, I await inspiration to guide my next post: this one came from my daily “On this day in History” desk calendar. Today’s subject was born (perhaps) in the middle of the night on this [New Style} date, January 4th. So, immediately I want to see what his [Old Style] date was: Christmas!

That’s too much of a coincidence to ignore. But, on the surface, that might seem unlikely to be a true clue. But then I looked at the only inconjunct of his birth chart:

Moon Inconjunct Neptune

This aspect indicates that you are very sensitive and that you pick up feelings from the people around you very easily. The danger is that many of these feelings will be difficult to cope with; they may make you afraid of the world and reluctant to go out into it, as you must do when you are older. As a result, you prefer to be alone with your thoughts and let your fancies wander wherever they want to go.

Hmm.

Jesus Christ Reborn, or Just His Inspiration?

When I think about Isaac Newton, I get a feeling of an impressive scientific mind. And, literally, it has been said that he was a virgin his whole life. Now, that’s impressive, at least to me. But could he be Jesus’ reincarnation, or just another spiritual avatar to move society and mankind into a new direction?

Just this once, I’m going to focus on the Moon’s Nodes and their significance between these two individuals.

Let me start with Newton’s North Node @ 9° Libra 38′ (retrograde): it is almost exactly conjunct Jesus’ ‘fatal’ Moon, and within 2° of Jesus’ Ascendant. Then, Jesus’ ‘fatal’ North Node is exactly conjunct Newton’s Pluto @ 2° Gemini 36′ (retrograde). Finally, Jesus’ natal South Node is within 2° of Newton Ascendant @ 26° Libra 13′.

The other links between the charts are very exact, too, especially their natal Suns @ 13° Capricorn: they are only 9′ apart. Even Newton’s Saturn @ 19° Pisces 53′ is only 30′ different than Jesus’ natal Jupiter (as part of the Star of Bethlehem), while Newton’s Jupiter is about 3° of Jesus’ natal Saturn. And Jesus’ ‘fatal’ Venus is 1.5° from Newton’s Venus @ 27° Aquarius.

I know it seems strange, but the connections are too real to be ignored.

The Next Great North American Solar Eclipse

April 8, 2024

I’ve lived through a ‘proper’ solar eclipse, before, in 1999, but under a UK cloud cover. Hopefully, this time my view of it will be better. With 2024 being an election year in the United States, this eclipse may have more significance than usual. (And please note that the astronomical ‘exact’ time is about 1 hour off the projected Eastern Time zone of the event chart.)

Note that the Part of Fortune is exactly conjunct the 16° Leo 20′ Ascendant: that proves that the Moon is exactly conjunct the Sun @ 19° Aries 24′. There is but one inconjunct.

Saturn Inconjunct Ascendant

You need to be encouraged to believe in yourself and to recognize your personal strength. You have to be helped to realize that you as an individual are worth a lot and that you need to get some satisfaction from life as much as the next person does.

On occasion this aspect indicates frail physical health, which can be corrected only by paying a great deal of attention to hygiene, personal health habits and proper diet. However, this aspect may also signify that you worry too much about your health. Try not to be so concerned about it unless a physician has diagnosed a definite problem.

You may find it rather difficult to express yourself to other people. This is another expression of your lack of self-confidence, which will change if you get positive emotional support from the people around you.

I wonder who this relates to? Usually eclipses portend changes and fortunes of rulers (such as kings and queens), but in American terms relates to presidents. Therefore, this may be a health warning for Biden. Ellie Adams and Brandy Burrow projected forward late last year into seeing whether Biden would definitely run for re-election. They surmised that a month before this time he would be ‘letting go’, whatever that means. Is this the proof that he won’t run again? I wonder.

Oh, to be in Buffalo on the day in question!

Two Visitations in Two Years at Easter

Hathor and Chris Bledsoe (April 8, 2012 and March 31, 2013)

In the book, UFO of God, Chris Bledsoe recounts two visitations from the White Lady. That they happen to occur on Easter of two consecutive years is what makes them so intriguing to me.

To my mind, there is nothing astrologically significant in this first chart. Sure, there are two inconjuncts, one linking Mercury and Saturn, and the other linking Mars and Uranus. But I was expecting to see Neptune on the horizon, at least, and that doesn’t happen here, although Pluto in the 12th House (of the Unconscious) is interesting, while Neptune is in the 1st House (of Personality).

(This illustration is an attempt to make a deity into the image of the people who worshipped her, but Chris Bledsoe’s White Lady is a blond haired white lady, as you would expect from a white male.)

This second chart now has Pluto about 5° off the Capricorn Ascendant, so just maybe it is the significant planet for these ‘revelations’. Also note that there are now six inconjuncts, five of which format into Yods, one pointing at Jupiter, and a triple one pointing at Saturn, near the Midheaven. Hmm. Maybe these planets are the keys to the prophecies that she revealed to Chris. (I won’t delineate them here.)

Combining the charts shows a bigger picture:

This combination shows that there are no coincidences. And the Yods from the second chart are still (inter)active between both charts. The Easter connection somehow feels relevant.

I’m going to ponder this further and report back when the penny drops.

Is the Scarab the significance?

How to Make Your Mark and Leave Your Stamp on Life

Julian Calendar Starts (January 1, 45 BCE)

Julius Caesar liked to be a gamechanger when it came to the Republic of Rome. He saw that there were too many calendars in operation through the Roman conquered lands, so he decided to standardize them.

The Julian calendar is a solar calendar of 365 days in every year with an additional leap day every fourth year (without exception). The Julian calendar is still used in parts of the Eastern Orthodox Church and in parts of Oriental Orthodoxy as well as by the Amazigh people (also known as the Berbers), whereas the Gregorian calendar is used in most parts of the world. It is named after Julius Caesar.

The calendar was proposed by Roman consul Julius Caesar in 46 BC as a reform of the earlier Roman calendar, which was largely a lunisolar one. It took effect on 1 January 45 BC, by edict.

The calendar became the predominant calendar in the Roman Empire and subsequently most of the Western world for more than 1,600 years, until 1582. In 1582, Pope Gregory XIII promulgated a minor modification to reduce the average length of the year from 365.25 days to 365.2425 days and thus corrected the Julian calendar’s drift against the solar yearWorldwide adoption of this revised calendar, which became known as the Gregorian calendar, took place over the subsequent centuries, first in Catholic countries and subsequently in Protestant countries of the Western Christian world.

Wikipedia

When we come to the birth of Jesus, for example, the Julian calendar date of December 25th became the Gregorian date of January 6th, the timing of which is still celebrated by the Russian Orthodox Church. Just this past Christmas, Ukraine decided to adopt the Gregorian calendar to harmonize with the rest of Europe.

Now this looks a little strange: the January 1st date for 45 BC actually falls on December 30, 46 BC in our equivalent timing. And, just to remind you readers, -45 is actually 46 BC since there’s no year zero.

The Yod pointing at the Midheaven, is formed by inconjuncts to Venus and Saturn. There is one further inconjunct linking Mars and Jupiter (all of which are very Roman).

Venus Inconjunct Midheaven

You have a strong need to be loved and to love others as well, but this may create some problems in your life. You are afraid that if you appear to others as you really are, they won’t accept you. You are very likely to feel that there is a conflict between what you ought to do in a particular situation and what would be acceptable to the people around you. Later in life, you may see your job, career or profession as a part of your life that is quite separate from your personal relationships with loved ones. This may cause you to neglect one area in favor of the other, instead of trying to create a balance between them.

Mars Inconjunct Jupiter

It is important for you to realize that you are not unlucky. Accidents or mishaps result from going too far too fast rather than from bad luck. If you slow down and learn new skills carefully and slowly, you will do as well as anyone else, perhaps better. However, this may be difficult for you, because you are somewhat impulsive and quite restless. You find it almost impossible to sit still for very long. You are always eager for change and new experiences, even when you are not ready for them yet. The only way to get over this is through self-discipline.

Saturn Inconjunct Midheaven

This aspect indicates that you very much need a positive relationship with your parents, especially your father. You should not be disciplined sternly unless you are given lots of love at the same time. Otherwise, giving and receiving love from others will be a real problem for the rest of your life. Unless you are truly supported by your family and friends, you will begin to feel lonely and isolated from others and inferior to them. You will see all authorities only as potential threats to your freedom and as sources of pain and trouble.

When we combine this chart with Julius Caesar’s birth chart, an interesting link shows up:

The event chart’s Saturn/South Node conjunction flanks Caesar’s 1° Sagittarius Ascendant. Hmm. Did he know how his life was going to turn out? Over the years, I’ve come to realize that nothing is accidental (even when the timing of a person’s chart is randomized). Caesar’s becoming Dictator for life sealed his fate. I suspect his modern counterpart knows this deep in his bones, too.

Against All Odds, But Written in the Stars?

Nikki Haley for President 2024

I wrote earlier this year that this outcome would seem like an impossible task. But I forgot to do the one thing that proves, or disproves, whether someone could head (or be involved in) the next administration.

When I shared this information (but not the combined charts) with a fellow astrologer, he wrote back, “No way!” Well, I’m here to say, “Yes way!” Astonishing as it seems, the Universe is lining up for Haley to be part of the 2025 administration. Any astrologer worth their salt will instantly see the Cosmic connections.

So, who wants to bet on this long-shot candidate?
