A Very Long Time to Hold a Grudge: 51 Years

Munich Games Massacre (September 5, 1972)

The world and his uncle tend to forget that the terrorism that Israel has endured came into stark focus on this day in 1972. The Israeli Olympic team were meant to be bargaining chips for the release of Palestinian prisoners, but the whole hostage taking incident ended in a massacre. Here’s the chart:

There is one inconjunct, linking Jupiter and Venus (also conjunct to the Part of Fortune).

Venus Inconjunct Jupiter

This can be a positive aspect if you learn to control some of its negative possibilities. You are likely to lack energy and to be rather passive. You may wait for opportunities to come to you, rather than go after them. You may not have enough energy to pursue your ambitions, or you may not have much ambition. Or you may love your comfort so much that you are unwilling to make any effort or put up with any pain that could help you grow and develop. However, if there are any indications of energy in your chart, they should overcome the passivity.

The reason I’m going back to this event is to demonstrate how long the memory of it has caused the Israelis and Palestinians an ongoing situation in Gaza that exploded into an all-out war between Israel and Hamas, the group that has effective control over the people who live in the Gaza strip of land.

Note, especially, how the War’s Moon in Cancer is conjunct the Munich South Node/Venus conjunction. And War’s Pluto is conjunct Munich’s North Node. War’s Ascendant is conjunct Munich’s Neptune. War’s Venus is conjunct Munich’s Mercury/Ascendant conjunction. War’s Mercury is conjunct Munich’s Pluto. And, finally, War’s Sun is conjunct Munich’s Uranus, while War’s Uranus is conjunct Munich’s Midheaven. There really are too many links between these events to be considered a coincidence.

So, before pointing fingers at Israel as the ‘problem’, remember that 24-hour coverage of the War is making this far worse than it already is. The same thing happened in 1972.

Post Script: It Isn’t New, This War has Been Brewing for 75 Years

When Israel was partitioned out of the land that Palestinians had controlled for almost 2,000 years, the West created a monster situation. In the background, promises to the Arabs in 1916 were broken.

So, instead of blaming the State of Israel, blame the French, British and Russian diplomats.

I Should’ve Known Better: David Wilcock was Right

The Reincarnation of Jane Doe (1223)

Now that I have the correct birth chart for Beth Leone (aka Elizabeth Seraphine) I can revisit a question I posed about something that David Wilcock said. (You will need to revisit that post to see why I asked it.)

It would seem that Beth and Jane are one and the same (but living in different generations). Jane’s Part of Fortune is conjunct Beth’s Moon; Jane’s Saturn is conjunct Beth’s North Node; Jane’s North Node is conjunct Beth’s Midheaven; Jane’s Mars is conjunct Beth’s Pluto; and Jane’s Sun(/Midheaven) is conjunct Beth’s Jupiter/Ascendant.

My apologies, David, for ever having doubted your connection to Source.

This Information Came from Nothing and Nowhere

Elizabeth Seraphine (April 29, 1970)

I never expected to find the answer to this puzzle, and, in the end, it was provided in a comment on a post about Elizabeth and David Wilcock’s wedding. He (and I’m presuming it is a ‘he’) stated that “I dated her before all this BS.” At least now I can put the matter to bed by correcting the record.

I once wrote that Beth was a ‘sister of the moon’. I wonder if that statement holds up when we look at the three inconjuncts in this chart.

Moon Inconjunct Pluto

You probably enjoy exploring the mysterious and probing hidden secrets. Even while you are young, you will understand human nature better than most people, but to use this ability positively, you must be reasonably calm about your feelings.

Venus Inconjunct Jupiter

On the plus side, you need love and affection, and you can usually be very warm and affectionate as well. However, it is very important that you choose your close friends carefully, because you may attracted people who are difficult to get along with, who order you around or act as if they are batter than you. Avoid such people, for they will do you no good.

If you do associate with difficult people, you may be unable to live up to your own standards of behavior. You may do things that you usually wouldn’t approve of, because somehow the relationship weakens your resolve to do what is right.

Venus Inconjunct Ascendant

Your close friends and loved ones discover that you are quite different in a close relationship than you appear at first. It is not that you are dishonest, but that you show a side of yourself to your friends that you usually keep hidden, often because you are not entirely confident in that role. You may feel unsure that others will like you or accept your affection. This is one reason why you express your love by doing nice things for people. You are trying to win them over.

Now I understand why she and David broke up. The mix wasn’t right for them, although it looked perfect in the beginning. As a spiritual avatar, Beth is the most comfortable in her skin.

Here’s a Novel Thought: Emperors as Football Managers

Jose Mourinho (January 26, 1963)

Now, we’re going out into left field, here. My most recent commenter has challenged me to look at three individuals (and their past lives) to see if there are any links between them. OK, I’m up to the challenge.

Napoleon Bonaparte (August 15, 1769 – May 5, 1821)

Hmm.

Alex Ferguson (December 31, 1941)

Alexander I, Czar of Russia (December 23, 1777 – December 1, 1825)

4 T

Hmm, again.

Arsene Wenger (October 22, 1949)

Francis II, Holy Roman Emperor (February 12, 1768 – March 2, 1835)

Really?

I wonder where Luke gets his information from. Could this indicate that sometimes Emperors like to take time off to practice their sports management skills? It’s weird and it’s wonderful.

“Tomorrow and Tomorrow and Tomorrow”

Macbeth’s Soliloquy (Act 5, Scene 5)

On PBS, Sunday night, this soliloquy was recited by an actor in a rundown building. I memorized this one in my teens when we were studying Macbeth in high school. I recited it along with him.

That’s a bit how I see my life and myself in this world: insignificant.

Hint: He Married His 13-Year-Old Cousin

Jerry Lee Lewis (September 29, 1835 – October 28, 2022)

Honestly, you cannot make these things up. The singer, known as “The Killer” eloped with his cousin, Myra. This may have been a karmic echo of what Edgar Allan Poe did in the 19th century.

Jerry Lee Lewis‘ birth chart has a plethora of interesting aspects. Supposedly, this is an accurate birth time, since all astrology sites have the same time, including my Kepler 7.0 computer program. The one aspect that caught my eye was the inconjunct linking Venus and his Ascendant @ 6° Aquarius 47’. That degree implies a past life around 1860. So, just to be clear, this is about 5° out from Poe’s death. I guess the Universe wanted to highlight the Venus link, which would have been lost if his birth time was 20 minutes earlier. Strange that.

Is Jerry Lee Lewis the Reincarnation of Edgar Allan Poe?

How can I answer that question with a straight face? One was a gothic poet and writer, the other a bombastic rock ‘n’ roll musician. But only by comparing their charts can we be sure of a connection.

Guess what? The answer is a definite ‘maybe’. Lewis’ Uranus is conjunct Poe’s natal North Node; Lewis’ Part of Fortune is conjunct Poe’s ‘fatal’ North Node; Lewis’ Moon/Mercury conjunct is within 3° of Poe’s natal Ascendant; Lewis’ Pluto is opposite Poe’s natal Sun/Mercury conjunction; Lewis’ Venus is conjunct Poe’s ‘fatal’ Venus. There are more aspects, but enough is enough. Lewis married seven times!

May Jerry rest in peace: he’s paid the karmic debts from several of his past lives.

Let’s Take a Second Look at the Publication of the Novel

Jane Eyre (October 16, 1847)

I’d written about this author before. But, since my daily calendar highlighted this event, I decided to look at its publication.

Previously, the Wikipedia post about this book suggests a date of October 19, 1847 for its publication. Perhaps, it really doesn’t matter, because only the Moon will have moved into the next sign three days later. For our purposes, there is only one inconjunct which connects Uranus and the Ascendant.

Uranus Inconjunct Ascendant

The restless energies of this aspect should be given some kind of release, because otherwise they can turn inward to create the kind of rash and compulsive actions that lead to accidents. If you have accidents, it is not because you are unlucky, but because you are not careful at critical times. Learn to avoid any kind of dangerous activity when you are nervous, upset or feel that your energies are scattered.

The full spectrum of aspects between these two charts is a wonder to behold. No doubt the publication of this book was cosmically connected (Charlotte’s Moon conjunct Eyre’s Neptune; Charlotte’s Mercury conjunct Eyre’s Uranus; Eyre’s Moon and Mercury forming a Yod, pointing at Charlotte’s Midheaven; and Charlotte’s Saturn and Neptune, forming a Yod, pointing at Eyre’s Jupiter).

If you’ve never read Jane Eyre, may I suggest you do so? At its root is a love story for the ages.

They Say, in Entertainment, that Timing is Everything

World on Fire (2019 – )

We started watching this series on PBS last night. From the episode we saw, it might be that this is season two, since the story seems to come in the middle of the conflict (1940) and not at the beginning (1939). Obviously, we wouldn’t have known any better, except that relationships between the characters were already set in stone, and if we’d watched the first season, we would have seen them developing.

War is Hell. Ask anyone in Ukraine or the Middle East.

When will we ever learn, when will we ever learn?

How to be Creepy and Famous at the Same Time

Edgar Allan Poe (January 19, 1809 – October 7, 1849)

We tried watching the new Netflix show “The Fall of the House of Usher” last night. We got through 30 minutes of the first episode, and then we shut it off. What inspired me to even try viewing it was an outdoor scene from the beginning which clearly showed me it was filmed in Vancouver (as there is no mistaking the Scotiabank Tower in the background). But I don’t like horror stories.

Part way through the preview video (see link, above) is a quote from The Raven: “Nevermore.” That combination is behind the reason for this post.

Meet Edgar Allan Poe

All the astrology sites list this birth chart as “rectified from approximate time”. Really? Born in the midnight hour is one thing, born one hour later is another. I suspect the Moon/Venus/Pluto conjunction, all being inconjunct to the Midheaven, is the real reason for the timing. They become suspect, unless the purpose was to demonstrate his love for his cousin, whom he married when she was just 13. Still, the only inconjunct I trust is the one connecting Mars and Jupiter.

Mars Inconjunct Jupiter

You have a great need for personal freedom. But while you are young, you may not be very responsible about the way you use your freedom. You may take too many liberties or even interfere with other people’s freedom. Here again the problem is rashness and lack of self-control.

Hmm.

The Raven (published January 29, 1845)

We all have a passing knowledge of this poem. What I am going to do is look at the publication chart.

This time is set for when the Evening Mirror newspaper went on sale that day. Logic says the timing should probably be 5 pm, but I’m sticking with my first instinct. What it implies is that the inconjunct linking the Moon and the Ascendant may be illusory, a bit like the subject of the poem itself.

Moon Inconjunct Ascendant

You tend to put your own emotional needs and wants second to whatever you feel has to be done. In other words, you are likely to be more disciplined emotionally than most people your age. But this is not good if you feel that your emotionally needs are not important. Your needs must be fulfilled as much as anyone else’s, particularly because your feelings are really very powerful within yourself.

Comparing Poe to His Poem

Interesting, isn’t it? The loss of his father at age 1 may have been the inspiration for this poem (Poe’s Saturn conjunct the Raven’s North Node). He may have been trying to work through the mystery (natal Neptune) by the act publishing the poem (event Mars). But one thing is clear, this poem made him famous, and that fame has stayed constant for almost 160 years.

But One Other Quote Demonstrates How He Really Viewed This Reality:

Amen.

One of the Justifications for Comparing Him to Bill Gates

As Rich as Croesus

However, the problem is, for our purposes, knowing when Croesus was born and when he died, exactly.

There is no way to compare his charts to Bill Gates‘ birth chart, and I must respectively decline to do so.
