Who Benefits the Most During American Elections?

Mainstream Media

It’s a thought that’s been in my head for a couple of weeks, now. And I’m not kidding you.

Individuals running for public office have a common problem: how do they get the voters to vote for them when there are so many other people clamouring for the same attention? Attack ads. Tell people what’s wrong with your opponent and they’ll choose you instead. (That’s the theory, anyway.)

But political ads cost money. And if you can get the little people to contribute to your campaign, your problem is solved. But who gets the advertising revenue? The MSM.

What set me down this rabbit hole was the idea that all the MSM have to do is suggest that your opponent is leading in the polls, and you’ll invest more funds for more ads, right up until the end. When both sides are doing that, the MSM are creating a situation that makes money for them. That’s why reports of GOP leading one week, followed by the Democrats leading the next, are feeding the frenzy.

So, let it never be said that the Mainstream Media are non-partisan; they are bi-partisan because it makes them rich. Even Murdoch and his cronies support both sides of the aisle. It pays handsomely.

When Something is Not Meant to Succeed

Paul Pelosi Attack (October 28, 2022)

Members of law enforcement work outside the home of U.S. House Speaker Nancy Pelosi after her husband Paul Pelosi was violently assaulted during a break-in at their house in San Francisco, California, U.S., in this screen grab taken from video October 28, 2022. KGO TV via ABC via REUTERS.

I have waited for the publicity dust to settle somewhat, before offering my take on what went down in the wee hours of Friday morning. The timing is so specific, how could I resist?

The inconjuncts tell the story of how it turned out. There are two interactive Yod’s and one single inconjunct. The single one has a murderous intent, for sure.

Mercury Inconjunct Jupiter

You like to think big, and you have great ambitions, but you don’t always make sure that your thinking is clear or careful. When you make any kind of plan, be careful. Don’t try to take on more than you can handle and make sure not to overlook details, for that could hurt what you are trying to do. Careful planning will help you develop disciplined habits in other areas as well. This aspect can mean that you are sloppy in your personal appearance and in your work habits.

Mercury Inconjunct Midheaven

It is very important that you develop your mind and your powers of thought, so that you can use them to attain whatever objectives you set for yourself. However, before you can accomplish this, you may have to solve certain problems. You may feel that there is a tension between your natural spontaneous views and what is taught by your parents and other adults.

It is very important that you remember not to speak impulsively. If you do, it is very likely that you will put your foot in your mouth. Consider what you are going to say and how your words can further your objectives.

Jupiter Inconjunct Ascendant

With this aspect, you may discover that in order to grow and get ahead in life, you will have to put aside your own needs and do whatever the situation or other people require. At times you will go through tremendous and possibly painful creative changes in your life, in which everything that you are is replaced by a new order. Your environment may change radically, or you may lose all your old friends and find a whole set of new ones. During these times you will arrive at new understandings and realizations that make it impossible for your life to continue as before. You must always be open to new ideas and be willing to change your outlook on life.

Mars Inconjunct Pluto

You have a strong will and always want to have your own way. But very often it seems as if tremendous forces are working to prevent you from getting what you want. If you have this problem, it is because of the way you go about trying to achieve your ends. If you put too much force into your desire to get something, you may unknowingly alienate people because your aggressive manner shows that you will let nothing stop you from getting what you want. Even if that isn’t the way you really feel about it, you should recognize that your forcefulness creates this impression.

Yes, that sounds about right, eh?

After Thirty-Two Months, I Finally Test Positive

COVID-19 (November 1, 2022)

Susan tested positive two days ago: I thought I might get away with it, but, as you can see, the faint test line is there. And this, after getting our third Pfizer booster (along with the high-dose flu shot) on Friday of last week. Honestly, it feels no different than cold symptoms, so far. Now I have an excuse to stay home and keep to myself.

Cheers.

The Link is Their Love of Music

Champ Jaxon and River Phoenix

Don’t ask how I make these kinds of cosmic leaps: even I don’t know. It just kind of comes to me while I’m walking the dog. I’ve previously written about Champ Jaxon, and today I added River Phoenix. Are they connected? Let’s compare their charts, shall we?

Literally, their connection comes from the birth, death and rebirth @ 16° – 20° Venus in Libra. Champ’s Moon is opposite that link @ 21° Aries, so I think we’re on solid ground. River has come back to live the life he would have preferred, making music as his career. The true tie is River’s natal South Node @ 3° Virgo being conjunct his ‘fatal’ Ascendant @ 0° Virgo and Champ’s natal Sun @ 5° Virgo. Everything else is pure speculation on my part.

He was Crucified on a Cosmic Cross

River Phoenix (August 23, 1970 – October 31, 1993)

Have you ever wondered why only the good die young? River Phoenix was no angel, but his death at 23 was a surprise to ordinary folk. Maybe he had inner demons that were not visible to the viewing public.

This birth time is considered excellent. His chart shows a powerful T-square involving Moon/Saturn opposite Neptune, all squared to the Sun and Mars. There is only one inconjunct.

Moon Inconjunct Jupiter

This aspect indicates that you have a positive, optimistic outlook on life, and you enjoy socializing with good friends. However, there are some dangers with this aspect. First, it can be a sign that you are self-indulgent and possibly even selfish, although this is not likely to happen if you have a good, strong relationship with your mother. You have a great need to be cared for and supported, to be accepted for what you are with no strings attached. If this need is fulfilled, the positive side of this aspect will flourish. But if your mother does not support your needs fully, you will feel insecure and will look elsewhere for support and fulfillment. In this case your concern will be totally for yourself with little thought for other people’s needs.

Overdoing it, perhaps?

I am showing you this chart to demonstrate how those same two energies were triggered at the time of his death: Moon inconjunct Venus; and Jupiter inconjunct the Midheaven. That seems fated, somehow.

So, What About the Cosmic Cross?

I thought you’d never ask.

It’s only when we put the two charts together, do we get a clearer glimpse of what was going on at the time of his death. The most important link is River’s natal Sun being transited by the ‘fatal’ Ascendant. At the same time, the ‘fatal’ Sun was conjunct his natal Ascendant. His time on earth was truly at an end

Amen.

Young Man, You’re in the Army Now!

All Quiet on the Western Front (2022)

This is probably the first time I’ve seen a film about what it was like for a German foot soldier during the Great War. It wasn’t a great war, at least not on the front lines. But it helps to remind us that, truly, “War is hell.”

She was a Legend in Her Own Lifetime

Jeane Dixon (January 5, 1904 – January 25, 1997)

Jeane Dixon is remembered best for a prediction she made in 1956 about a Democratic president in 1960 who would not live beyond his term in office. That was her greatest claim to fame, but she wasn’t infallible. In fact, she made a later prediction that Nixon would be the winner in 1960. The first instance of a conspiracy theory involving a stolen election would have made this prediction the correct result.

Evidently, she made thousands of predictions, but very few of them came true. The prediction about Communist China may have been the only one that truly startled a President, in this case FDR. Nixon claimed Dixon could sell ‘anything’. Reagan didn’t bother consulting her after she claimed he’d never get the top job. See what I mean?

This birth chart was already on my computer (with her named spelled incorrectly). I won’t argue with its timing. Pluto in the 1st House may be the key to her obvious self-promotion. There are two inconjuncts.

Mercury Inconjunct Neptune

The challenge of this aspect is to make your thinking and communication with others more clear. Your rational mind is strongly influenced by your sensitivity, imagination and ideals, although you aren’t always sure how this happens. You tend to spend too much time in your own imaginary world that no one else can share, and this confuses your dealings with others. You will have to learn to face reality, so that you can at least communicate with people. Otherwise, you will have a very lonely life.

Her Whole Life is Bracketed by the 20th Century

Her time of death is unreported. I have set the clock for noon, but that is inconsequential when it comes to her ‘destiny’. Note that the ‘fatal’ North and South Nodes have returned to their original natal positions. Even the ‘fatal’ Moon is about 8° from its natal position. This is a life fully lived, and finally, in the end, complete.

Hmm.

Angel of Death or the Devil in Disguise?

Charles Cullen (February 22, 1960)

I’m not being facetious, here. The man at the centre of the film “The Good Nurse” is a very conflicted person. There are hints as to what made him the way he is, but astrology can be much more enlightening than a simple history of events.

As with most individuals, no one has done Cullen’s birth chart before. His birth time is unknown, so I set the clock to 3:00 pm in order to capture at least two major childhood events: his father’s death @ 7.5 months (Pluto); and his mother’s death @ 17 years of age (Moon). His arrest and convictions for murder seem to be confirmed by the position of the Sun in his chart. There are three inconjuncts.

Sun Inconjunct Ascendent

Your relationships with other people can be very intense. While you are young, they may be quite difficult, because you feel that others will accept you only if you deny yourself in some way. Or you may constantly feel you should put off doing what you want in order to do what you have to do. Usually, your ideas about what you have to do come from the people around you. Also, contacts with other people will frequently force you to make serious, major psychological changes. Difficulties in your relationships with friends and family are signs of profound internal changes.

Mercury Inconjunct Uranus

Your mind moves quickly from topic to topic, often without pausing long enough for you to understand what you have learned. And if there is a lot of excitement or activity around you, your mind may race so fast to keep up with it all that you work yourself into a state of nervous frenzy. Under these circumstances it is almost impossible for you to concentrate or do any useful mental work.

Venus Inconjunct Pluto

With this aspect you must learn a great deal about the kinds of friends you want and the kinds of experiences you will have through other people. Even while you are still young, you may meet persons who are quite difficult to get along with, but who seem to be impossible to get away from, even when you want to. You may be fascinated by such persons, or circumstances may force you to stay with them. These people do have a definite role to play in your life, but it may not always be a pleasant one. They will teach you something about life or about yourself.

Interesting, isn’t it, how Stephenie Meyer named her vampires in the Twilight series of books, the Cullen Family? Hmm.

Would You Believe if I Told You She was the Chairman?

Kari Lake (August 23, 1969)

Kari Lake, Republican candidate for Arizona governor, speaks at the Conservative Political Action Conference (CPAC) in Dallas, Friday, Aug. 5, 2022. (AP Photo/LM Otero)

I’m kidding, really, but wouldn’t that be a hoot? Kari Lake is a sketchy individual who hasn’t confirmed (or denied) when, where or what time she was born. We have to take everything on faith.

Everything about this birth chart is speculative. The only thing we can count on is the inconjunct:

Jupiter Inconjunct Saturn

This aspect may signify great restlessness and unease, so that it is difficult for you to achieve a state of balance or feel calm and at ease. Often you have contradictory impulses; you want to plunge ahead into some relatively risky activity, but you are held back by feelings of caution or inhabition. It is often difficult to decide whether you want to act on your own or in a situation that is very structured and regulated. If your situation is too structured, you will feel closed in and repressed; you will want to break free and go off by yourself and do things your way. But when you get that freedom, you feel rather lost and at loose ends, and you find it difficult to set your own pace.

You may have mixed feelings about authority as well. On one hand you respect and admire your parents, teachers and other adults who guide your growth, but at the same time you resist their teachings. At times you resent these people very much, because they seem to limit you so.

The best solution is to learn how to discipline yourself and structure your activities so that you do not have to contend with regulation by others. Then you will discover that your problems with authority come from within, not from the people who are trying to give you discipline and self-control from without. Perhaps the best way to handle this problem in your life is to make a reasonable evaluation of any situation, make up your mind rather quickly and stick to it until you have completed the activity.

(This aspect is also in Chairman Mao‘s chart.)

The most concerning aspect is the Mercury/Pluto conjunction @ 24° Virgo. It is conjunct her South Node in the 5th House. Then, to follow what I’ve been thinking about for a week now (James Bond stuff), I came across this image:

Now, doesn’t that just say it all? She is not the reincarnation of Mao, she is just an agent of chaos.
