When Astrologers Try To Make Events Fit Their Timeline

Jesus’ Baptism (May 5, 27 AD)

Again, reading the Rudolf Steiner book, I found the idea of one of the major stars being aligned to our Sun on the day of Jesus’ baptism to be interesting, but the date is wrong.

At 10 a.m. on September 23 in the year 29, at the moment of the baptism of Jesus in the River Jordan, when Christ descended into incarnation in Jesus, the Sun at 0°50’ Libra was located on the meridian of Mega 39. Thus, there was a conjunction of the Sun with Mega 39 at the baptism in the Jordan, where the divine energy evidently flowing from the extraordinarily luminous star Mega 39 was transmitted to our Sun and from our Sun to Jesus Christ—remembering Rudolf Steiner’s words quoted above about the perfect concordance between Christ’s life and the “collective being of the whole universe.”

Dann, Kevin; Powell, Robert. Astrological Revolution: Unveiling the Science of the Stars as a Science of Reincarnation and Karma . SteinerBooks. Kindle Edition.

Previously, I had the inspiration that Jesus would have been exactly 33 years and 4 months old when he was baptized by John. The date, therefore would be May 5, 27 AD.

Perhaps the assumption that the Sun had to be aligned to Mega 39 is the basis of the error. What if it was aligned with the Moon instead, in keeping with the feminine energy of the Christ? Strange, isn’t it, how our cultural masculine bias blinds us?

Brilliant blue stars litter the southern sky and the galactic bulge of our home galaxy, the Milky Way, hangs serenely above the horizon in this spectacular shot of ESO’s Paranal Observatory. This image was taken atop Cerro Paranal in Chile, home to ESO’s Very Large Telescope (VLT). In the foreground, the open dome of one of the four 1.8-metre Auxiliary Telescopes can be seen. The four Auxiliary Telescopes can be utilised together, to form the Very Large Telescope Interferometer (VLTI). The plane of the Milky Way is dotted with bright regions of hot gas. The very bright star towards the upper left corner of the frame is Antares — the brightest star in Scorpius and the fifteenth brightest star in the night sky.

And in case anyone wants to accuse me of having a similar bias to my own way of thinking: of course I do. I wouldn’t be human, if I hadn’t.

How Jesus Used Astrology to Work a Miracle

The Feeding of the 5,000 (January 31, 29 AD)

Another ‘hint’ from the Rudolf Steiner book I’ve been reading has led me to this event.

‘In Palestine during the time that Jesus of Nazareth walked on Earth as Christ Jesus—during the three years of his life, from his thirtieth to his thirty-third year—the entire being of the Cosmic Christ was acting uninterruptedly upon him, and was working into him. The Christ stood always under the influence of the entire cosmos; he made no step without this working of the cosmic forces into and in him.… It was always in accordance with the collective being of the whole universe with whom the Earth is in harmony, that all which Christ Jesus did took place.’

From these words it is clear that it was not mere coincidence that there was a conjunction between the Sun and the mega star Deneb at the feeding of the 5,000, and that the cosmic forces streaming from Deneb were transmitted via our Sun and were received and transmitted further by Christ at the time of the miracle of the multiplication of bread and fish. Here the word “conjunction” means a conjunction in longitude, both at 10½° Aquarius.

Dann, Kevin; Powell, Robert. Astrological Revolution: Unveiling the Science of the Stars as a Science of Reincarnation and Karma . SteinerBooks. Kindle Edition.

So, the only date that works is the end of January 28 or 29 AD. Matthew suggests that Jesus went off for some solitude after hearing the news of John the Baptist’s death. Because John’s death was in late August 28 AD (according to my calculations), only January 31, 29 AD would work for me. (However, this seems to me to be a long time between John’s death and Jesus hearing about it, so something cannot be right.)

But in spite of my concerns, here’s what the chart looks like:

Like the Raising of Lazarus, the image of the aspects in the centre of the chart is quite startling. Uranus on the Ascendant @ 0 degrees Leo makes the miracle come alive. The Sun and Jupiter conjunct near the Descendant allows us to see the ‘expansion’ of energy involved. The Moon and Neptune are conjunct in Capricorn in the 6th House (of Service), the result being seen as a miracle. But only five loaves and two fish? Wow, eh?

We are told that this event happened at the end of Jesus’ ministry to the people of Galilee.

A Shooting Straight Out of Compton

Tupac Shakur (June 16, 1971 – September 13, 1996)

Dr. Oz is going to review this drive-by shooting (from 1996) on Thursday’s program. To be honest, I knew nothing about it, but the connection to The Notorious B.I.G. is notable.

2PAC’s birth chart is rectified to recognize his death (Mars) at age 25. There is one inconjunct:

Uranus Inconjunct Midheaven

You need to express your thoughts and feelings, but you often upset the people around you with your words. You seem to enjoy creating a stir every time you say something, but this can get you into quite a bit of trouble with parents, teachers and other authority figures. The underlying aspect of this aspect is the need to balance your individual self-expression and manner of communicating with your need to learn and grow under the guidance of older people.

One thing about a police timeline is the exactitude of the timings. You can trust it.

Again, there’s one inconjunct at the time of the shooting. Connecting the Moon (in Cancer) with the Midheaven (in Aquarius) implies that he was becoming ‘too popular’ as a rapper. He had enemies, that is a known fact. But who really wanted him dead?

The rapper Christopher Wallace, known as The Notorious B.I.G., denied playing a role in the murder. His family produced computerized invoices suggesting that Wallace was recording a song in a New York City recording studio the night Shakur was shot. Wallace’s manager, Wayne Barrow, and rapper Lil’ Cease publicly denied that Wallace had a role in the crime and said they were with him in the studio the night of the shooting.

Six months later, on March 9, 1997, Wallace himself was fatally shot in a drive-by shooting by an unknown assailant and died at the Cedars-Sinai Medical Center in Los Angeles.

And Now We Have Seen His Star…

Sitting in the Western Sky (above Los Angeles)

Image courtesy of Paula Wright from her Facebook page

Spectacular, isn’t it? Imagine how much brighter this ‘star’ would have looked over Bethlehem, 2000 years ago. (I was going to write 2,026 years ago, but who wants to be that precise?) The Magi (what we would call Astrologers today) knew what they were looking for, and found it in the City of David.

Paula Wright‘s image (above) of Jupiter and Saturn must have been photographed on Sunday evening before the Great Conjunction, because she’d posted it on Monday morning. At any rate, I’ve created an event chart for the Winter Solstice evening which I called: Christmas Star 2020.

After the Sun set yesterday, a double inconjunct aspect connected the Jupiter/Saturn (once in a generation) conjunction to the Ascendant.

Jupiter Inconjunct Ascendant

With this aspect, you may discover that in order to grow and get ahead in life, you will have to put aside your own needs and do whatever the situation or other people require. At times you will go through tremendous and possibly painful creative changes in your life, in which everything that you are is replaced by a new order. Your environment may change radically, or you may lose all your old friends and find a whole set of new ones. During these times you will arrive at new understandings and realizations that make it impossible for your life to continue as before. You must always be open to new ideas and be willing to change your outlook on life.

Saturn Inconjunct Ascendant

With this aspect you probably have a rather serious attitude toward life and other people. It may be quite difficult for you to simply go out and have a good time. You want to be serious and to spend all your time performing significant tasks. This attitude may have developed because you were discouraged from enjoying yourself when you were younger. You may have been made to feel that only work is important, that play serves no useful purpose. This is not true, however, because playing has a positive and useful function in the development of the adult mind and body. Not only does it serve to release tensions, but it also actually helps train you in social and physical skills that will be useful in any work you do later.

(With lockdowns in place in many areas of the world, due to the pandemic, these aspect descriptions seem apt, at the moment.)

But There’s More…

Venus Inconjunct Uranus

You feel mixed up about whether you want to be close to others or be free. When you are really close to a loved one, you feel smothered and want to get away by yourself to do what you want. But when you are alone and free to do what you want, you miss your loved ones and want to be with them. It will take you several years to understand yourself enough so that you can strike a balance between these two needs, so be patient.

This really is the conundrum that everyone is facing this time of year. Our natural urge is to go home and share the warm of the season’s joy with family. Not this year, it seems.

Seek the Christ Child within.

How Do You Solve a Problem Like Maria?

Maria von Trapp (January 26, 1905 – March 28, 1987)

I wasn’t intending to do this individual’s birth chart, but then I read her biography and realized that it would be possible to rectify her chart, if the details lined up correctly.

Maria’s mother died when Maria was only 2 (Moon). Her father died when she was 9 (Sun). Her uncle mistreated her when he became her guardian (Saturn), so she left home and ‘decided’ to be a teacher (South Node). After joining the abbey at 19, she was asked to tutor the daughter of ‘Baron’ Georg von Trapp while young Maria was convalescing from an illness. All of his children then became her focus and she married Georg at age 22 (Venus). She said she didn’t love him, at the time, but she did love them.

There is a Yod pointing at her Ascendant in Virgo, and two other inconjuncts.

Jupiter Inconjunct Ascendant

You are a fun-loving and gregarious person who enjoys good humor and likes to play an occasional joke, although not to hurt anyone. You like to go to parties and other friendly gatherings, and you may enjoy being the life of the party whenever possible. In fact, you sometimes find it difficult to face the serious side of life, when you have to. You are so optimistic that you never expect life to come out wrong. Also you may want to travel widely in the world as well as in your mind. Certainly you will not want to be tied down to one place doing one thing all your life.

Saturn Inconjunct Ascendant

This denotes that even while you are young, you are a realist. You probably stopped believing in fairy tales and Santa Claus sooner than most, and you were one of the first to try to find out about the meaning of the outer world. As you grow older, you will develop a personal philosophy of life based on getting results. If something works, you do it. At the same time, you aren’t sure of the worth of anything that is purely decorative or abstract. In school you are likely to do well in subjects that teach useful skills in a disciplined manner rather than in art, poetry, music or literature. You might be good at math and science if you can see practical uses for these disciplines.

Sun Inconjunct Neptune

You are very sensitive to your environment and to the people around you. On one level of your being, you feel what is going on very acutely. Unfortunately your understanding often comes in terms that are very difficult to communicate to others, because their meaning is not clear in your own mine. Your greatest danger is in being exposed to negative people who are full of anger or depression or who act very harshly toward you and undermine your self-confidence. Your self-confidence has to be boosted at every conceivable opportunity, and it would be very destructive for you to be criticized sharply, unless the person has made it very clear that he or she loves you.

Moon Inconjunct Venus

You need to be loved, even more than most people, particularly by your mother of another woman who takes the place of your mother. This need for love will be the force behind many of your actions. If you don’t find the love you are looking for, you will develop an insecure hunger for love from everyone you meet. However, you may express this in strange ways, such as a desire for food, especially sweets, which unconsciously represent love to you.

Concluson

How do you solve a problem like Maria? You’ve just got to love her, warts and all.

The Raising of Lazarus in the 20th Century

Colin Bloy and the Second Coming of Christ

In my imaginings, I made a connection that Rudolf Steiner only hinted at in his writings. If I may be so bold, here’s what the link suggests:

St. John the Divine was the past life of Christian Rosenkreutz, who extended his time on earth by assuming a three hundred year lifetime as the Count St. Germain. Since Colin Bloy’s birth is about 10 years after Rudolf Steiner’s death, we can only surmise that Steiner’s prediction of 1935 being the year that Rosenkreutz would return was referring to Colin.

After today’s post about the Raising of Lazarus event chart, I decided to look at Colin’s birth chart, in connection with this past event.

Do you see what I see? (And I’ve flipped the usual past/present combination to accentuate Colin’s place in history.) Effectively, Jesus’ raising Lazarus from the dead can be the death of the ‘old self’ and the birth of a new being (St. John the Divine). That’s what my imagination showed me last year. Now I have ‘proof’.
