The detective in me loves a challenge. This morning I read the following passage:
The New Moon (Sun/Moon conjunction) and Full Moon (Sun/Moon opposition) are the most common recurring aspects, and, as mentioned above, they commemorate, respectively, the raising of Lazarus and the crucifixion. Moreover, on the day of Christ’s raising Lazarus from the dead there was a close conjunction of Venus and Uranus in Leo; and it is possible in our day to consult an ephemeris to discover on which date such a conjunction falls.
Dann, Kevin; Powell, Robert. Astrological Revolution: Unveiling the Science of the Stars as a Science of Reincarnation and Karma . SteinerBooks. Kindle Edition.
Because I ‘know’ that Jesus’ mission on earth took place over a three year period between 27 and 30 AD, I only had to fit the story from John’s Gospel into a relative placement in that time period. I chose the end of June in 29 AD.
What I didn’t expect was the spectacular image of the aspects for that moment. WOW!
(And for those that might quibble that the event took place in Bethany, please note that that location is just outside Jerusalem, well within walking distance.)
The position of Venus and Uranus in Leo, with the Sun and Moon in Cancer immediately reminded me of tomorrow’s Winter Solstice. Could this current event be a mirror reflection of the Lazarus event from Jesus’ lifetime? It looks like it…
This is another link-up as suggested by Rudolf Steiner. Because he was a contemporary of Michelangelo (whose paintings I admire), I would never have thought about looking at Raphael’s birth chart. As luck would have it, my Kepler 7.0 program has a copy.
I’m not going to argue about it’s accuracy, as I don’t know enough about Raphael‘s life. But we do know a lot more about John the Baptist’s beheading, due to the scriptures.
Here is a comparison of the two charts:
In the Steiner book, the Julian calendar dates made this a little messy to compare. In fact, it suggested that John was born on June 4, 2 BCE. Obviously, no one did the same calculations that I did: John would have been born in 7 BCE, due to the fact that his mother (Mary’s cousin) was already pregnant when Gabriel announced Mary’s news.
Here are the two natal charts, compared:
John’s birth time is randomized, but the two charts have some very strong links, especially with the North Nodes and South Nodes being conjunct (along with a conjunction to Raphael’s Saturn), and Raphael’s Sun (in Aries) being opposite John’s Ascendant (in Libra).
This is not conclusive, but mostly suggestive of reincarnation.
What strikes me as strange is how a rough-and-tumble prophet (John) should come back as a specially refined artist (Raphael). Wonders never cease to amaze me.
We seem to be stuck in the here and now. And yet, we yearn for an idyllic past, and hope for a perfect future. I’ve said it before, I’ll say it again: there is only NOW.
Astrology has provided me with a view of life on earth from a different perspective. I look at birth and ‘death’ charts of individuals who seemed to have lived in the past. But every time I do, I’m mindful that the Round Art, as A.T. Mann likes to call it, is actually helping me to understand myself better.
Take a Cue from Dogs
You take them out for a walk, then they come back into the house. If you turned around and offered to take them outside again, they’d want to go.
They have no concept of ‘before’ or ‘after’. To them, there is only the present.
But, we’re human, so we make things more complicated by adding ‘reasons’ for things that happen to us. Even karma seems to be too much for our little brains to comprehend. You reap what you sow, it’s a simple as that. Instead, we think the Lords of Karma have got it in for us: Infamy, infamy, God’s got it in for me.
Never Ending or Beginning on an Ever-Spinning Reel
Usually, when I combine and compare charts, I start with the earlier one and then show the later one around it. But, if there’s no linear time, I could reverse the process as I’ve done with these two significant charts: Winter Solstice and Jupiter and Saturn in 1226.
Our limited perspective changes, doesn’t it?
Instead of thinking that 1226 came before 2020, we can view the present as perhaps informing the past, seemingly…
The Moon, which figures strongly in the images circulating the internet at the present, can be seen to be at the very same spot that the Sun is in the previous event. Which begs the question: which came first?

Conclusion
If your head is spinning now, consider this: we are our own worst enemy when it comes to admitting that we’re not perfect, that we have a shadow side, and that we are just trying to do our best, stumbling around in the dark.
God bless you on your journey round the sun, for another year to come.
John Frederick Parker (May 19, 1830 – June 28, 1890)
This man, a minor player in history, made a major mistake on April 14, 1865. He was AWOL from his post the night Abraham Lincoln was shot by John Wilkes Booth.
Admittedly, the timing of this chart is randomized, then rectified. But it doesn’t mean it is accurate, except for aspects between planets. There are three inconjuncts, only one of which could be considered ‘real’.
Mercury Inconjunct Neptune
Sometimes this aspect means that you are so nervously sensitive that you pick up all the negative psychological energies around you and react to them very strongly. If this is true for you, the only way to deal with it is to be moved to a peaceful, positive environment. If there is too much noise or too many bad vibrations in your life, you will withdraw more and more and refuse to face reality.
(People with this aspect will sometimes try to drown out the noise with alcohol.)
Venus Inconjunct Midheaven
You have a strong need to be loved and to love others as well, but this may create some problems in your life. You are afraid that if you appear to others as you really are, they won’t accept you. This problem can be corrected only by the most careful upbringing, such that your parents correct your behavior in ways that help you feel self-confident rather than undeserving and unworthy.
Pluto Inconjunct Midheaven
You may have trouble with older people who try to teach you how to effectively take control of your life. Even while you are young, you may resent their control over you and resist everything they are trying to teach you. To a great extent, your path in life will be shaped by your early confrontations with authority figures. Your parents would be well advised to give you as much control as possible over your own affairs and as much self-determination as you can handle. You are quite capable of acting behind people’s backs if you consider it necessary or if you feel that you never get your own way.
(These two inconjuncts are dependent on a correct time of birth: the aspect between them does not…)
Venus Conjunct Pluto
You need to be loved very much, but you also need to love others. The attachments you form are very strong, because you don’t take relationships casually. On one hand, this can make your life very rich, as long as the people you are attracted to are equally intense emotionally and are good in other ways as well. But with this aspect you may be attracted to people who are not very good for you or who do not have your best interests in mind. This is particularly so if you do not have much self-confidence or self-esteem.
You should be on the watch for jealousy and possessiveness in relationships, either in yourself or in your friends. If you are the possessive and jealous one, you have to learn that your friend may have other friends without lessening the relationship between you. You also must learn to give those you love the same freedom that you want for yourself.
That Fateful Night
The overriding implication is that Parker stayed too long at the bar, after the intermission. In his own defence, he said he never expected anyone to want to harm the President.
The ‘event’ Neptune transiting Pluto of his birth chart implies that ‘something’ else may have been bothering him that night. His Venus/Pluto conjunction may have been activated, so I’m going out on a limb to suggest that he was having marital problems with his wife. The ‘event’ Sun was beginning to transit his natal Moon. See what I mean? The ‘event’ Mars (in Cancer) is opposed to his natal Jupiter/Ascendant conjunction (in Capricorn). And his natal Sun is conjunct the ‘event’ Venus, inconjunct the ‘event’ Saturn. He chose personal issues over his job, and lived to regret it.
Parker attempted to defend himself stating that he “could never stoop to murder much less to the murder of so good and great a man as the President. I did wrong, I admit, and have bitterly repented.”
The First Thanksgiving 1621, oil on canvas by Jean Leon Gerome Ferris (1899). The painting shows common misconceptions about the event which persist to modern times: Pilgrims did not wear such outfits, nor did they eat at a dinner table, and the Wampanoag are dressed in the style of Native Americans from the Plains.
I’m a bit late for this one, but next year’s American Thanksgiving celebration will be the 400th anniversary of the original three day Harvest Festival in Plymouth.
The time is randomized, but the message is clear: the double Yod pointing at Pluto in Taurus is significant.
Sun (and Neptune) Inconjunct Pluto
You have a very strong will and can be quite stubborn, even when you don’t have any particular reason to be. It is as if you automatically resist any pressure to act in a particular way, even if you know it is good for you. This may arise from a fear of being controlled, helpless or manipulated by anyone else. As you get older, this fear may lead you to manipulate others so that they cannot manipulate you. It is very important to develop confidence in yourself, so that you will not behave this way very frequently. Your relationship with your father will be particularly important, for his actions and his opinions of you will strongly affect your sense of well-being.
(This is the Pilgrim Spirit, personified.)
Pluto Inconjunct Ascendant
This can be an indication that through experiences with others, you will be forced to undergo many significant changes in life. At times the crises may be quite unpleasant, but for the most part the results will be very positive, although for some people, they may be less constructive. But you must be careful about the kind of people you get involved with. Choose your friends with great care and try to find people who have a healthy outlook on life and who seem reasonably well balanced. People who ae driven to extreme behavior or who act compulsively, as if they could not plan anything in advance, are not very good for you. They will get you into difficult situations that you do not need.
And for good measure:
Moon Inconjunct Mars
Until you learn to handle your feelings, you are likely to get angry easily, have temper tantrums and be touchy about what is yours and what is not. You may feel you have to defend yourself against imagined threats. The problem here is that you are likely to become too emotionally involved with ideas, opinions or even objects without knowing it until someone threatens them. Then you react as if you were being personally threatened or attacked. You have to realize that it is possible to change your opinions and attitudes without damaging your worth as a person.
Seems Like We’re Talking About COVID-19, Doesn’t It?
They say that ‘what goes around, come around again’. This is especially true when it comes to aspects in astrology charts. I’ve written about these aspects recently, and the echoes are so strong to the problems that the Pilgrims faced in their first years at Plymouth that it makes me think we need to change our attitudes to the pandemic.
Do you ever wonder why it takes such a long time for the ‘other shoe to drop’? Of course, I am talking about The Star of Bethlehem manuscript that I posted on this blog site over four years ago. In it I discussed the possibility that Jesus had actually been born as a female, and that so much of the Gospels could be better understood if that thought was kept in mind. Blasphemous? Perhaps. But the ‘Second Coming’ seems to highlight what most Christians find difficult to comprehend: transgender issues.
The common element in ‘transgender charts’ is the Sun/Moon/Ascendant T-square. Because of the timing of my original charts about Jesus’ birth and death, I had not made this obvious connection, until now. The charts may simply have been ‘slightly’ off-kilter. However, I did note that the overall effect was of a Cosmic Cross in both the natal and the ‘fatal’ charts. That’s the bigger picture. That’s the ‘proof’.
Alright, here we have a puzzle, but when we look back at Jesus’ (original) birth chart, that pentagram in its centre reminds us that the Great Goddess is present, even if only symbolically. But then Anthony Harris tackles a very delicate subject: What if Jesus was actually a woman and not a man?
Was Jesus really a woman? I don’t think so, but a lot of people have speculated that he might have been an hermaphrodite. This would help explain the balance in his birth chart.
All of this makes me more and more convinced of the rightness of this theory. Especially the concept of the Beginning and the End: if Jesus started the process as Adam, giving ‘birth’ to Eve “out of his side”, then it is poetic justice and perfect balance that the favour should be returned by Mary ‘immaculately’ conceiving Jesus. This lack of a Y chromosome, and perhaps even one X chromosome makes the matter of Jesus’ sex intriguing, but we shall return to this later.
This all brings me back to Isis resurrecting Osiris: she found fourteen of his fifteen body parts, the only one missing was the phallus. The myth may have some truth hidden within it, which may explain why Jesus felt he was the embodiment of a great god, and that he must die to redeem his people.
So the mystery of what the Cathars and Templars knew seems to be that they alone held the truth about Jesus: he was a wo/man who was immaculately conceived by his/her twin-soul mother, Mary, lived as a great teacher, died as a God, and then resurrected as the Great Goddess. To get the proper effect, read this book again substituting ‘she’ for ‘he’ and ‘her’ for ‘his’.
President Elect Biden gave a speech last night on American prime time television. He spoke of Trump’s attempts to overturn the election and further divide the United States. He reiterated his pledge to work for all Americans, not just the ones who voted for him.
As an acknowledgement of his election by the Electoral College, it was a powerful speech, except for the one thing that repeatedly interrupted it: coughing.
Biden must not be media savvy, otherwise he would have realized that during a pandemic any sign that he might be suffering from COVID-19 would have placed a doubt in peoples’ minds that he will be able to stay the course of the next four years.
Has anyone tried to analyze his birth chart for longevity? The unequal houses of Tropical Placidus charts can be very revealing, especially the 8th House (of Death).
In Biden’s case, the significance of Pluto is the ‘surprise’ election as president #46. It seems to be accurate for the age he is now, 78. But the 8th House still goes on for a number of years before the 9th House is reached. That’s an indication that he will live through the full four year term. He has not said whether he would seek a second term.
While watching the speech live, I was pondering what else could have made him cough so much. Then it struck me: stress.
None of us can imagine how difficult it has been to have been elected to the most stressful job in the political world and not be allowed by the previous President to transition easily into it. And the particularly obvious tone that Biden took during his speech was one of quiet anger and frustration for Trump’s many legal challenges.
Someone must have told Biden that the time had finally come for him to assume a presidential tone, or he would lose half of the country’s support from the ‘get-go’. He may have been ill-advised to do so while suffering from ‘just a cold’ and without a glass of water on the podium, but when your throat tickles, you cough: there’s no getting away from that. Perhaps he should have been sucking a lozenge, or doing a full gargle and throat spray before the speech.
But it’s too late now, the seed of doubt has been sown.
No one knows why David Cornwall chose John le Carré as his pseudonym. So, I did a little digging, asking for the names of German authors who died between 1900 and 1930. This name came up. A-ha, says I. This man joined the French Foreign Legion when he was 28, and he wrote about it when he finished his four year stint. Sound familiar?
I rectified the timing of the chart so that his (surprising – Neptune) enlistment at age 28 was highlighted. There are those two parental planets (Saturn and the Moon) again, but this time in reverse order. Could David have been the reincarnation of Edwin?
This comparison of their birth charts is not conclusive, but I can see some echoes here. The proof will involve Edwin’s death chart and David’s birth chart:
Obviously, we cannot know for sure what time Edwin died, but the randomized time of 9 am brings Mars conjunct to the Aries Rising sign. That fits, to me. But, does it matter?
The answer to that is, “No.”
However, please note that nothing is accidental, not even the naming of characters. It’s very telling that the Russian nemesis of George Smiley in the stories about him is
