Is This Prophecy or Perfect Hindsight?

You Will Hear of Wars and Rumours of Wars (Matthew 24:6a)

If you are a fundamental Christian, you will probably know the whole scripture passages that are related to the “End Times” by heart. They amount to Jesus’ promises to them for his disciples’ future salvation.

What makes me suspicious of the whole text is this segment near the end:

19 Therefore go and make disciples of all nations, baptizing them in the name of the Father and of the Son and of the Holy Spirit, 20 and teaching them to obey everything I have commanded you. And surely I am with you always, to the very end of the age.”

Matthew 28:19-20 (NIV)

This calls to mind “Jesus Christ Superstar”:

Let us just admit that to the Jews in Palestine, their world ended when the Romans destroyed the Temple in Jerusalem. As far as the Jewish race was concerned, they were scattered to the four corners of the earth. How could Jesus have known that?

1Then Jesus spoke to the crowds and to His disciples: 2“The scribes and Pharisees sit in Moses’ seat. 3So practice and observe everything they tell you. But do not do what they do, for they do not practice what they preach. 4They tie up heavy, burdensome loads and lay them on men’s shoulders, but they themselves are not willing to lift a finger to move them.

5All their deeds are done for men to see. They broaden their phylacteries and lengthen their tassels. 6They love the places of honor at banquets, the chief seats in the synagogues, 7the greetings in the marketplaces, and the title of ‘Rabbi’ by which they are addressed.

8But you are not to be called ‘Rabbi,’ for you have one Teacher, and you are all brothers. 9And do not call anyone on earth your father, for you have one Father, who is in heaven. 10Nor are you to be called instructors, for you have one Instructor, the Christ. 11The greatest among you shall be your servant. 12For whoever exalts himself will be humbled, and whoever humbles himself will be exalted.

13Woe to you, scribes and Pharisees, you hypocrites! You shut the kingdom of heaven in men’s faces. You yourselves do not enter, nor will you let in those who wish to enter.

15Woe to you, scribes and Pharisees, you hypocrites! You traverse land and sea to win a single convert, and when he becomes one, you make him twice as much a son of hell as you are.

16Woe to you, blind guides! You say, ‘If anyone swears by the temple, it means nothing; but if anyone swears by the gold of the temple, he is bound by his oath.’ 17You blind fools! Which is greater: the gold, or the temple that makes it sacred? 18And you say, ‘If anyone swears by the altar, it means nothing; but if anyone swears by the gift on it, he is bound by his oath.’ 19You blind men! Which is greater: the gift, or the altar that makes it sacred? 20So then, he who swears by the altar swears by it and by everything on it. 21And he who swears by the temple swears by it and by the One who dwells in it. 22And he who swears by heaven swears by God’s throne and by the One who sits on it.

23Woe to you, scribes and Pharisees, you hypocrites! You pay tithes of mint, dill, and cumin. But you have disregarded the weightier matters of the law: justice, mercy, and faithfulness. You should have practiced the latter, without neglecting the former. 24You blind guides! You strain out a gnat but swallow a camel.

25Woe to you, scribes and Pharisees, you hypocrites! You clean the outside of the cup and dish, but inside they are full of greed and self-indulgence. 26Blind Pharisee! First clean the inside of the cup and dish, so that the outside may become clean as well.

27Woe to you, scribes and Pharisees, you hypocrites! You are like whitewashed tombs, which look beautiful on the outside, but on the inside are full of dead men’s bones and every kind of impurity. 28In the same way, on the outside you appear to be righteous, but on the inside you are full of hypocrisy and wickedness.

29Woe to you, scribes and Pharisees, you hypocrites! You build tombs for the prophets and decorate the monuments of the righteous. 30And you say, ‘If we had lived in the days of our fathers, we would not have been partners with them in shedding the blood of the prophets.’ 31So you testify against yourselves that you are the sons of those who murdered the prophets. 32Fill up, then, the measure of the sin of your fathers. 33You snakes! You brood of vipers! How will you escape the sentence of hell?

34Because of this, I am sending you prophets and wise men and teachers. Some of them you will kill and crucify, and others you will flog in your synagogues and persecute in town after town. 35And so upon you will come all the righteous blood shed on earth, from the blood of righteous Abel to the blood of Zechariah son of Berechiah, whom you murdered between the temple and the altar. 36Truly I tell you, all these things will come upon this generation.

Matthew 23:1-36 (Berean Standard Bible)

Then, Jesus says this about Jerusalem:

37O Jerusalem, Jerusalem, who kills the prophets and stones those sent to her, how often I have longed to gather your children together, as a hen gathers her chicks under her wings, but you were unwilling! 38Look, your house is left to you desolate. 39For I tell you that you will not see Me again until you say, ‘Blessed is He who comes in the name of the Lord.’

Matthew 23:37-39 (BSB)

We Have All Become Lukewarm in Our Beliefs

How to Regain Our Spiritual Fire

Our modern churches have become like Laodicea, the seventh church spoken to by the Spirit of Jesus in Revelation 3:14-19.

14 And unto the angel of the church of the Laodiceans write; These things saith the Amen, the faithful and true witness, the beginning of the creation of God; 15 I know thy works, that thou art neither cold nor hot: I would thou wert cold or hot. 16 So then because thou art lukewarm, and neither cold nor hot, I will spue thee out of my mouth. 17 Because thou sayest, I am rich, and increased with goods, and have need of nothing; and knowest not that thou art wretched, and miserable, and poor, and blind, and naked: 18 I counsel thee to buy of me gold tried in the fire, that thou mayest be rich; and white raiment, that thou mayest be clothed, and that the shame of thy nakedness do not appear; and anoint thine eyes with eyesalve, that thou mayest see. 19 As many as I love, I rebuke and chasten: be zealous therefore, and repent.

NKJV

It was something that Philip K Dick wrote about his vision of being a early Christian in Roman times: they had a secret, that Jesus was still alive, and they were waiting for his return. If you wonder how that must have felt, think of it as a quickening fire. The authorities thought that they had dispensed with the renegade rabbi and his rabble, by crucifying him in Jerusalem in 30 AD. But rumour had it that he had resurrected on the third day, and because they couldn’t find the body, they presumed that it was a plot to overthrow the Roman government in Judea. That rumour spread like wildfire, igniting the hearts of true believers, not just in Palestine, but everywhere in the civilized world. Christianity was born.

(And then we wonder how the ‘phoenix rising from the ashes’ became a symbol of the resurrection.)

But after just seven years short of 2,000 years, we have become complacent. The conflicts in the world have made us (mostly) immune to the plight of others. NIMBY and “I’m alright, Jack” have become our mottos. Only when the war comes to your home town, will you fight the good fight, again.

Hmm.

What Does an Appearance of God Look Like Astrologically?

Theophany of Philip K Dick (November 12, 1980)

The icon for a theophany is the famous one shown above, depicting the Dove hovering over Jesus’ head during his Baptism by John. Does it surprise anyone that PKD also had an appearance of God to him in 1980? The image on his book “Valis” recalls the dove-like image of Jesus on the Cross.

Now, the epiphany of February 3, 1974 began PKD’s Exegesis which culminated in a vision of Jesus on November 12, 1980. This is the chart for the event, randomized for ease of handling.

The Mars/Neptune conjunction in Sagittarius in the 12th House (of the Unconscious) may be the driving force of this event. At any rate, there are no inconjuncts, so all is revealed.

When PKD’s birth chart is compared with the event chart, the Uranus in Aries of his 1st House (of Personality) is opposite to the event’s Jupiter in Libra. That Jupiter/Saturn event conjunction (in Libra) also echoes back to the same configuration of the Star of Bethlehem in Jesus’ birth chart (in Pisces).

You may have noticed that I am using Jesus and God interchangeably here. The idea is that the Son is of the same nature as the Father and is symbolized by the third figure, the Holy Spirit: the Trinity at work.

Is It Possible that Philip K Dick was Him in the Past?

Saint Thomas (Martyred July 3, 72 AD)

Now, this is going to seem like a bit of a stretch, but the idea has now become firmly wedged into my brain. In 1974, PKD remembered a life in Rome, as Thomas (the Twin). From all accounts, Thomas left the Middle East in 52 AD and went to India. But, who’s to say how long it took him to get there and where he might have been in the meantime? The only thing that is known is his martyrdom in 72 AD.

This date, July 3rd, is according to the Syrian Church. And the timing is set for noon, local time. If it doesn’t jibe with PKD’s birth chart, we will know we’re barking up the wrong tree, astrology-wise.

Well, *Lordy, Lordy* there are links in the Akashic Records! What do you think of them apples?

Survivor Guilt? He Lost His Twin Sister at 7 Weeks

Philip K Dick (December 16, 1928 – March 2, 1982)

There is a lot of controversy surrounding PKD. For one thing, people think he was a mad genius who could see the future. For another, he has had a mystical experience of remembering his life as an early Christian named Thomas in Rome, trying to escape detection by the Romans. So which is it? Both!

As I suggested in the title, PKD may have been suffering from survivor guilt.

The science-fiction writer Philip K Dick puzzled over the distinction between mental illness and religious experience after he had one himself. He claimed that, while he was recovering from dental surgery in February 1974, his consciousness was awakened by a mysterious flash of pink light. After the pink flash, he had visions of abstract paintings and unfamiliar engineering blueprints. Streams of fiery energy – of ‘liquid fire’, he said – seemed to weave through his environment and inhabit his body. He saw scenes of ancient Rome superimposed over his neighbourhood: ‘I looked around and saw Rome! Rome everywhere! Power and force, stone walls, iron bars.’

The Divine Fire of Philip K Dick’s Religious Visions

I’ve written about this experience before. The Ichthys pendant triggered the remembrance of a past life in 1st century Rome. Now, on its own, this would seem to be a ‘pink’ bolt of light out of the blue.

I knew that by charting this event, I would get a clue: that Venus on the Descendant speaks volumes. So many of his stories have an internalized element, which can only be understood as a feeling of having one’s twin living inside your body. Does that seem strange? It makes sense to me, since we internalize so much of our feelings, sometimes without even knowing it. The clue? Thomas, signifying the Twin.

Let’s look at his birth chart when combined with the event chart:

Do you see the event Sun lining up almost exactly with his natal Moon? At the same time the event Moon is transiting his natal Mars. Meanwhile the event North Node is triggering his natal Sun/Mercury/Saturn conjunction. In other words, it was time to act, to get his life straight again.

No Birth or Death Details: but a Permanent Record

July 6, 68 AD Edict

If you want to see the Edict, it’s the final image on this post.

If I am connected to the start of the Siege of Jerusalem, then I should be able to see if I have anything to do with this Edict.

As one picture is worth a thousand words, I needn’t say anything more. Bless.

Astrology as the Akashic Records:

“The Book of Life” on Earth

This takes a statement from Edgar Cayce and links the idea of the Book of Life Akashic Records and the planets as presented in the birth chart. A partial explanation is quoted here:

Many individuals are aware of the fact that psychic Edgar Cayce attributed the source of much of his remarkable information as being the Akashic Records. Referred to in scripture as “the Book of Life,” these Akashic Records essentially keep track of each and every soul and that soul’s learning agenda through all time. As unbelievable as this may seem to some, most individuals have heard of the phenomena called the Near Death Experience in which people undergo a partial death transition and experience a personal life review. In a very real sense what is taking place during this life review is that the individual is tapping into her or his own Akashic Records. Ultimately, these records might be equated to the universe’s central computer storehouse, tracking all information for every individual who has ever lived upon the earth. However, much more than simply a memory storehouse, the Akashic Records are interactive in that they have a tremendous influence upon our everyday lives, our relationships, our feelings and belief systems, and the potential realities we are constantly drawing toward us.

edgarcayce.org

I’ve been trying to demonstrate this truth over time with posts about reincarnation, past lives and connections between individuals. I have not always been successful. Then Mystic Yak sent me his details and the penny dropped: where had I seen his planetary placements before?

Now, this might seem a bit of a stretch, but a line-up in his chart (Sun through Mercury in Scorpio) has an echo in history (Mars through Sun in Aries). At first glance, they don’t seem to totally agree, and yet when you put his birth chart up against the Siege of Jerusalem in 70 AD, a weird triple Yod appears, which then extends into a double Yod with Uranus and Pluto. This cannot be coincidental.

I suspect Mystic Yak may have been part of that siege, either on the Roman side or the Jewish side. (At this point, I would suggest the Roman side.) It may have been exactly when he and I met in the past.

Hmm.

Why hadn’t I compared myself to that event before?

Beware of Being Manipulated by the Mainstream Media

Kittens, Both Cute, and In Distress

Kittens and puppies are innocent of the world, but also precocious. Their curiosity can get them into trouble. But so can human neglect. That is the reason that some animal charities use photos like this:

I am using these photos as symbols of what the MSM like to do to ‘raise awareness’ of the plights of others in famine and war-torn areas of the world. What they are really doing is manipulating their audience into action against the powers that be. At present, the Ukrainian War is becoming ‘old news’ so the new Israeli-Hamas “War” is being promoted almost nonstop to further divide an already fragmented society.

The plight of ‘innocent’ Palestinians being starved and/or killed (and especially children) is being forced onto our consciousness daily, but living amongst them is a group who have vowed to killed Israelis in any horrible way that is possible. As an organization the United Nations is powerless. We’ve seen that over the years. They make a lot of noise about keeping the peace, but have been less able to do so since the Bosnian War in the 1990’s. Israel is the big aggressor, because it has the military might, but as a country, it has vowed to protect its citizens from the naked aggression by ‘terrorist’ groups like Hamas. Why has the United Nations ignored that fact?

War is hell on everyone involved. Let’s face it, none of us are getting out of this world alive.
