Now That the World is Over COVID-19…

World Conflicts Are Escalating

I’m not an expert, but it seems to me that the ‘delicate’ balance from 2019 has been knocked off kilter by the coronavirus.

Today’s most dangerous flash points—whether Ukraine, Taiwan, or confrontations with Iran—relate in some way to the world struggling for a new equilibrium. Dysfunction in the United States hardly helps. A delicate transition of global power requires cool heads and predictability—not fraught elections and policy seesawing from one administration to the next.

2020 Coronavirus severity map

The idea that some of these conflicts are related to the coronavirus shows up in this map from 2021:

In reality, the role of NATO in Europe is not helping the situation in 2022.

And with Sweden and Finland applying for admission to NATO, it is no wonder that Putin has tried to defend Russia in the only way he understands:

Nobody wins, and everybody loses.

Is This the “Lightning Strike” Event?

The Killing of Ayman al-Zawahiri (July 31, 2022)

Ayman al-Zawahiri (June 19, 1951 – July 31, 2022)

Sometimes you just cannot tell what a planetary lineup is going to yield in the events of the world.

When an event is so specific (and precision-like) the information is exactly correct for our purposes. Mars/Uranus/North Node is conjunct the Midheaven @ 17-18° Taurus! At the same time, the “Great Satan” (Uranus in Aquarius) is almost exactly opposite a Mercury/Ascendant conjunction @ 22° Leo (al-Qaeda). That conjunction is inconjunct Neptune (secret action) in Pisces (the passing of the Age).

Mercury Inconjunct Neptune

The challenge of this aspect is to make your thinking and communication with others more clear. Your rational mind is strongly influenced by your sensitivity, imagination and ideals, although you aren’t always sure how this happens. You tend to spend too much time in your own imaginary world that no one else can share, and this confuses your dealings with others. You will have to learn to face reality, so that you can at least communicate with people. Otherwise you will have a very lonely life.

Neptune Inconjunct Ascendant

This aspect can be a sign that you feel you must give way to others in order to get along with them. This can take two forms, both of which will be difficult to handle. The less positive form is simply yielding to all outside pressure and always giving in to others’ desires. This will product unconscious feelings of resentment that you can’t express, but that make your relationships with others rather difficult. And as you get older, if you do not learn to stand up for your rights, this problem will get worse, because you express your unconscious resentment as a martyred attitude.

But the other, more positive, way of dealing with this energy is by giving freely before others try to take it away from you. In order to do this, you have to feel good about yourself and confident that you will always have enough for yourself and others.

Al Qaeda leader Ayman al-Zawahiri, who was killed in a CIA drone strike in Afghanistan over the weekend according to U.S. officials, appears in an undated FBI Most Wanted poster. FBI/Handout via REUTERS

Do You Doubt His Connection to 9-11?

He’s in the middle of the event. So, this is a long-term pursuit of justice by the USA.

End of story? I wonder…

It’s Taken Me a While to Get to This Woman

Dolores Cannon (April 15, 1931 – October 18, 2014)

I’ve seen snippets of videos from this woman over the past couple of years, but here’s the one from Dolores Cannon I found this morning:

What I like about it is that a lot of questions are being answered in a fairly short period of time.

But Is It Real?

Do you feel like we’ve entered the Twilight Zone? We have: Neptune conjunct Virgo Ascendant. The two inconjuncts are from these two energies to the Moon in Aries.

Moon Inconjunct Neptune

This aspect indicates that you are very sensitive and that you pick up feelings from the people around you very easily. The danger is that many of the feelings will be difficult to cope with; they may make you afraid of the world and reluctant to go out into it, as you must do when you are older. As a result, you prefer to be alone with your thoughts and let your feelings wander wherever they want to go. When you are older, this may help you use your imagination very creatively, but it won’t help you work out your everyday problems. You must learn to stand on your own and not depend upon others. You also have to learn that you are worth as much as anyone else, for you may tend to withdraw when someone acts aggressive. But the adults who help you learn these lessons must be gentle and understanding. Otherwise you will shrink back into yourself. Above all, you must not be made to feel incompetent or inadequate, or you will think of yourself as a lose all your life.

Moon Inconjunct Ascendant

You tend to put your own emotional needs and wants second to whatever you feel has to be done. In other words, you are likely to be more disciplined emotionally than most people your age. But this is not good if you feel that your emotional needs are not important. Your needs must be fulfilled as much as anyone else’s, particularly because your feelings are really very powerful within yourself.

This aspect also ties together in you a Moon sign and a rising sign that are very different. This indicates that the image you project to other people does not reveal very much about your real feelings. When you are upset, you surprise people by showing a totally different side of your personality.

Her ‘grandmother’ persona is very comforting, is it not?

What Does It Mean When Your Dream Contains a Pun?

A Flock of Seagulls

Ordinarily, I consider visible puns to be amusing, but this image (above) represents a “Birds” like dramatic feel to my dream last night (or more accurately, this morning). And then I thought about the 80’s British group.

I walked along the avenue
I never thought I’d meet a girl like you
Meet a girl like you

With auburn hair and tawny eyes
The kind of eyes that hypnotize me through
Hypnotize me through

And I ran, I ran so far away
I just ran, I ran all night and day
I couldn’t get away

A cloud appears above your head
A beam of light comes shining down on you
Shining down on you

The cloud is moving nearer still
Aurora Borealis comes in view
Aurora comes in view

And I ran, I ran so far away
I just ran, I ran all night and day
I couldn’t get away

Reached out a hand to touch your face
You’re slowly disappearing from my view
Appearing from my view

Reached out a hand to try again
I’m floating in a beam of light with you
A beam of light with you

And I ran, I ran so far away
I just ran, I ran all night and day
And I ran, I ran so far away
I just ran, I couldn’t get away.

He Claims to be Jesus Christ Reincarnated

Vassarion (Sergey Anatolyevitch Torop – January 14, 1961)

Well, he certainly looks the part (according to our white Western misconceptions of how Jesus must have looked 2000 years ago). But is it true? Vassarion is a polarizing figure, to be sure.

This chart is randomized. As far as I know, no other astrologer or astrology site has even attempted to do his birth chart before. What strikes me as important is the inconjunct between Uranus and the Sun. (The other one between Uranus and the Midheaven may not be ‘real’, but you never know.)

Sun Inconjunct Uranus

There is a side of your personality that is very restless and impatient with rules, even when you know they are for your own good. You want very much to go your own way and do your own thing, even when you aren’t entirely sure that it is the right direction for you. So you rebel in subtle ways by having sudden fits of obstinacy and moods of feeling very contrary, especially to your parents or other authority figures.

Uranus Inconjunct Midheaven

You need to express your thoughts and feelings, but you often upset the people around you with your words. You seem to enjoy creating a stir every time you say something, but this can get you into quite a bit of trouble with parents, teachers and other authority figures. The underlying principle of this aspect is the need to balance your individual self-expression and manner of communicating with your need to learn and grow under the guidance of older people.

Certainly you will discover your own routes to what you want in life. Now you need to be given the confidence and encouragement to look for these routes on your own with total freedom.

But Is He the Reincarnation of Jesus?

That’s the question, isn’t it? The answer may be surprising.

Now, I don’t want to come across as a know-it-all: in fact, a healthy skepticism could serve our search for the truth better than most anything else, but looking at Vassarion’s birth chart alongside Jesus’ birth and death charts has yielded a couple of direct ‘hits’. For example: Vassarion’s Sun is (almost) exactly conjunct Jesus’ ‘fatal’ Neptune; and Vassarion’s Jupiter is within 4° of Jesus’ natal Sun. But the Moon’s Nodes don’t seem to line up, so my overall impression is a connection of some sort, but not an actual reincarnation.

But here’s the thing: Jesus’ natal Venus is (again almost) exactly conjunct Vassarion’s Mercury @ 29° Capricorn. Could Vassarion be Mary Magdalene’s brother, Lazarus, reborn? I’ve tried to make sense of this figure in other posts, but I keep running into the feeling that not enough is known about him. So the mystery remains.

“Once you were told, that The Kingdom of God is like yeast, which a woman put in three measures of dough, until it leavened.

This is the secret of the three Testaments, meant to bring the children of God to The Kingdom of Heaven: The Old Testament, The New Testament and The Last Testament.

These are respectively the secrets: Hope, Faith and Love.”

Vassarion

Hmm.

It’s a Very Thin Line Between Genius and Insanity

A Beautiful Mind (2001)

Bless. We watched this film last night, for the first time. Up until now I had always managed to avoid it. It’s not hard to work out why…

Yes, the film is based on (and inspired by) the life of John Nash. But, even so, it’s a harrowing journey through schizophrenia. I suspect that Sheldon Cooper from The Big Bang Theory is based on Nash.

John Nash (June 13, 1928 – May 23, 2015)

(See what I mean? The real man looks nothing like Russell Crowe.)

The timing of his birth chart is based on a birth certificate, so I will accept it as true. It therefore comes as no surprise to see Pluto conjunct his Cancer Ascendant. If you are going to be crazy, this aspect is perfect. Interesting enough, the only two inconjuncts are formed by the Pluto/Ascendant and Saturn.

Saturn Inconjunct Pluto

If either of these planets is close to conjunction or opposition with the Ascendant or Midheaven, its effects can be quite strong. It signifies a feeling that you must work extremely hard merely to keep your life running smoothly on a day-to-day level. Often this aspect is associated with quite a bit of tension, especially in your muscles, but also in your emotional approach to life. You need to learn that the world is not always a place of struggle and that occasionally it is good to let go and relax.

Even under favorable circumstances, this aspect usually means that you are resistant to change, that you hold on to any situation, no matter how bad, until it is totally intolerable. Then when change does take place, it has to create a revolution and a total breakdown of everything that came before it. You must learn to adapt to circumstances a bit more gracefully and not be afraid of occasional compromise.

You may find it difficult to get along with others, because you are unnecessarily afraid of what they want from you. Learn to associate only with people whom you can trust.

Saturn Inconjunct Ascendant

With this aspect you probably have a rather serious attitude toward life and other people. It may be quite difficult for you to simply go out and have a good time. You want to be serious and to spend all your time performing significant tasks. This attitude may have developed because you were discouraged from enjoying yourself when you were younger. You may have been made to feel that only work is important, that play serves no purpose. This is not true, however, because playing has a positive and useful function in the development of the adult mind and body. Not only does it serve to release tensions, but it also actually helps train you in social and physical skills that will be useful in any work you do later.

You need to be encouraged to believe in yourself and to recognize your personal strength. You have to be helped to realize that you as an individual are worth a lot and that you need to get some satisfaction from life as much as the next person does.

You may find it rather difficult to express yourself to other people. This is another expression of your lack of self-confidence, which will change if you get positive emotional support from the people around you.

The last word from John Nash is quoted in his Nobel Prize speech from 1994 at the end of the film:

Amen.

Building a Universal Library with Your Memories

The Akashic Records

This image is one of many that attempt to show where we go to read our Akashic record. By now, we are very cognizant of the idea of computer files within our personal appliances, and yet when it comes to the internet Cloud, our understanding becomes a little ‘cloudy’. It’s the same with our memories: on the one hand, they exist as stored information in (and around) our brain; but, on the other hand, they are also stored in our mind, and our mind is a part of the Universal Consciousness.

Is this making any sense?

This whole line of thinking was triggered by a short conversation I overheard at last night’s football match. The grandmother of one of the players was trying to share with his father (her son) that “all those years ago, when you were playing as a young boy, who would have thought that we would be here today?” His response? “This is now. We’re making memories…”

Now, on its own, that is very true, but his answer was a kind of deflection: he didn’t want to dwell in the past; he wanted to concentrate on the present. And that is a good thing, except that the past helps to inform us about the present, and where we will go in the future. So it’s important to remember these things, even if they are uncomfortable.

My astrological and hypnotherapy work into past life memories has been going on for more than half of my adult life. As a case in point, yesterday’s post about the Doctrine of Discovery was understated, to say the least. What my research into the subject matter has triggered a distinct past life memory of hearing about this in France in the 1650’s. By then, two hundred years had passed since the first Papal Bull of 1452, authorizing explorers the right to conquer the people and lands of non-Christians. It effectively gave me the inspiration to become a ‘runner of the woods’. Since I have previously lived as a white man among the Native Canadians, I ‘knew’ what we were doing was wrong, but a fellow has to make a living, right? I got around the negative results, by justifying my actions as condoned (actually encouraged) by the Church. (If God is on our side, who can be against us?)

So that’s my story and I’m sticking with it. I cannot undo what’s been done, but I can try to make sense of it all. I hope I’m making it easier for you to understand, too. Bless.

The Church Gave Explorers a Legal Justification in 1452:

The Doctrine of Discovery

Yesterday, during Pope Francis’ public mass in Quebec, a banner was raised in silent protest.

So, here’s the question: if the Pope rescinds the Doctrine of Discovery (effectively taking away the authority to conquer lands and people who are not Christian), will we all have to return to Europe?

Man, She’s (Still) Feels Like a Woman

Shania Twain: Not Just a Girl (2022)

This documentary came out on Netflix three days ago. We watched it last night. Emotionally, Shania appears to be back on track, but her speaking voice still shows signs of cracking, especially when speaking about the past: her marriage and divorce from “Mutt” Lange; her long-term suffering from Lyme disease; and her long road back, via a duet with Lionel Richie.

Shania Twain (August 28, 1965)

Although used by a great number of astrology sites, the timing of this birth chart is unconfirmed. I suspect it was rectified to show when her parents divorced (when she was only 2). Saturn in the late degrees of the 2nd House may represent that event. At any rate, Saturn (representing hard times, lack of money) may have been pivotal to her later success. (“I worked my ass off.”) The other pivotal point was when he mother and stepfather died in a car accident when she was 22. Now she was the sole provider for the family (represented by Jupiter in Gemini, opposite to her Sagittarius Ascendant). It kick-started her career. Unfortunately, one cannot say that she never looked back, after that.

Notice that there are no inconjuncts, as the chart stands. Other astrologers can probably see hints of her style in Uranus/Pluto conjunct in Virgo. (“Let’s go, girls.”)

Endless Love, Shania.
