I very much doubt that Henry VIII would have been in attendance at this event, but he let it happen, nonetheless, because Anne Boleyn produced a daughter (Elizabeth) and not a son. Because Anne lost her head in marrying Henry, she ended up losing it again.
Such was the state of the English crown in those days.
History records that Anne Boleyn’s execution took place at 8:00 am that fateful day, and yet my Kepler 7.0 program had 9:00 am for the time. Is this a sign that Pluto was on the Descendant, while Mars and Saturn were conjunct just 5 degrees from the Ascendant?
There are no inconjuncts. But the Sun and the Moon were coming into conjunction in Gemini: that’s significant, in my opinion. This may bode well for one of my acquaintances.
Now, I have a reason for looking at this particular individual: it’s called curiosity.
This chart was already on my Kepler 7.0 computer program, so I’m not going to look at a gift horse in the mouth. At any rate Wikipedia states that Edward Kelley was born at 4 pm, based on diary notes of John Dee. Where the authors of the Kepler program got the extra 32 minutes, I have no idea. At any rate, his Ascendant is 5 degrees from mine.
Mercury Inconjunct Saturn
This aspect can have several different meanings. First of all, you may have hidden fears that are difficult to express, but they cause you to do things that others can’t understand. These may include fear of the dark or of certain places or people. Or this aspect can mean that you often feel depressed and sad for no apparent reason. You tend to see the serious side of life, and it weighs on you more than on most people.
A particularly serious problem can be feeling suspicious of others, which later in life will turn into a cynical attitude about people’s behavior. True, it is good to be aware of the realities of life and not over idealistic. But you shouldn’t look at life in the worst possible light. You need to be surrounded by positive and optimistic people, and your parents should try not to be too negative around you and to make sure that you experience the best and most cheerful aspects of life. You will learn soon enough what to expect of the world without having your nose rubbed in its less desirable features.
On the plus side, this aspect can make you a very careful thinker. You may not attempt anything beyond your abilities as you see them, but whatever you do attempt will be done very well, You are a neat and careful worker.
Mars Conjunct Uranus
[Here’s that sudden “lightning strike” aspect again…]
As you are growing up, you may be a real handful for your parents and other adults. Part of you likes to disrupt, surprise and unsettle people. You are restless and unconventional, and you respond very badly to pressure, especially from teachers and parents. At you most difficult, you are rash and headstrong, making sudden moves without thinking about the consequence. In some cases, this can cause accidents, so you should learn to be very careful in situations that might be dangerous. If you don’t feel entirely in control of yourself, stop doing anything that involves danger.
You are strongly freedom oriented, but the problem with your attitude toward authority is that you feel that any restriction is a threat to your being. Any kind of limitation brings out the disruptive side of your personality, and you put all your energy into asserting your own way of being. If you want to get along in the world, you must develop some self-discipline, although most people with this aspect manage to get their own way most of the time. These people are definitely eccentrics according to the rest of the world, and you will be too. Fortunately you have the courage to be your own person.
The Cropped Ears
Anthony à Wood records in Athenae Oxoniensis that Kelley, “being about 17 years of age, at which time he attained to a competency of Grammar learning at Worcester and elsewhere, was sent to Oxford, but to what house I cannot tell. However, I have been informed by an ancient Bachelor of Divinity who in his younger years had been an Amanuensis to Mr Thomas Allen of Gloucester-hall, that he (Kelly) had spent some time in that House; whereupon I, recurring to the matriculation, could not find the name Kelly, only Talbot of Ireland, three of which name were students there in 1573, 74, &c… This relation being somewhat dubiously delivered to me, I must tell you that Kelly having an unsettled mind, left Oxford abruptly, without being entitled into the matricula.” According to some accounts, Kelley was pilloried in Lancaster for forgery or counterfeiting. Both his ears were supposedly cropped, a common punishment during the Tudor Dynasty. He usually wore a cap on his head, and it was thought this was to hide his lack of ears. John Weever says, “Kelly (otherwise called Talbot) that famous English alchemist of our times, who flying out of his own country (after he had lost both his ears at Lancaster) was entertained with Rudolf the second, and last of that Christian name, Emperor of Germany.” Some accounts say that he first worked as an apothecary’s apprentice: some say he worked as a notary in London
The Early Years (Wikipedia)
The only reason I am highlighting this ‘punishment’ is that it ties in with a psychic assessment connected to me, conducted by my friend Cat in 2017. I assumed it had to do with Sinon, of Trojan Horse fame, but I may have been wrong. It might be Kelley’s life.
So now I’m thinking:
If I’m Edward Kelley reborn, is my connection to John Dee by association only?
Jane (Johanna) Dee Died on October 10, 1580 at Mortlake
Mortlake Green
Now this is going to sound like something out of The Twilight Zone. As I pointed out previously, my mother (in this present lifetime) and myself have a very special bond. It’s probably no different for other mother/son relationships, until you add in the karmic astrological aspects that we have in common. As I came across the following passage in John Dee’s diary, I wondered if it would indicate something for Mom and me.
Oct. 10th, the Quene’s Majestie, to my great cumfort (hora quinta), cam with her trayn from the court and at my dore graciously calling me to her, on horsbak, exhorted me briefly to take my mother’s death patiently, and withall told me that the Lord Threasorer had gretly commended my doings for her title, which he had to examyn, which title in two rolls he had browght home two howrs before; she remembred allso how at my wive’s death it was her fortune likewise to call uppon me. At 4 10 of the clok in the morning my mother Jane Dee dyed at Mortlak; she made a godly ende: God be praysed therfore! She was 77 yere old.

If the entry hadn’t been so time specific, I wouldn’t have thought any more about it.
Pluto in Aries on the Descendant is interesting, is it not? And the Grand Trine linking Mercury, Mars and Saturn/Uranus is auspicious. But what links this to my mother?
Do you see the close conjunctions? There are a lot of links, suggesting reincarnation.
I have these connections, too. But the one that convinces me of the truth of this family link is the very close conjunction of Jane’s ‘fatal’ Moon and my natal Moon.
I can see why Shondaland would get involved in the production of this Netflix series: a good percentage of the actors are of a certain racial complexion. Does that sound racist?
In my view this is Pride and Prejudice with a lot of rumply-tumpty thrown in. But is it true? Probably. The backdrop is the Regency period around the time of War of 1812-14.
But, the portrayal of Queen Charlotte as bi-racial came as a surprise.
Charlotte of Mecklenburg-Straelitz (May 19, 1744 – Nov. 17, 1818)
This timing is rectified to Charlotte’s marriage to George III and her coronation as Queen (Moon). It is surprising that there aren’t any definitive times, since royalty like to be precise about birth times. There is one inconjunct only, for the day, so let’s look at that.
Mercury Inconjunct Uranus
Your mind moves quickly from topic to topic, often without pausing long enough for you to understand what you have learned. And if there is a lot of excitement or activity around you, your mind may race so fast so fast to keep up with all it that you work yourself into a state of nervous frenzy. Under these circumstances it is almost impossible for you to concentrate or do any useful mental work.
As you get older, you will have to learn to discipline your mind so that you can think things through. It’s all right to be somewhat restless, but you must learn to stay put during school and at other times when it is important to concentrate.
For a number of years, she and her family resided at Frogmore Cottage in the grounds of Windsor Great Park. Funny how Meghan Markle and Prince Harry lived there for a time, too, isn’t it?
My dream of being naked, and my skyn all overwrowght with work like some kinde of tuft mockado, with crosses blew and red; and on my left arme, abowt the arme, in a wreath, this word I red— sine me nihil potestis facere.
It looks like Greek, doesn’t it? Well, the letters are from the Greek alphabet, but the words are in English.
Google Translate gave me a clue, thusly:
This nigt mi yyif dremid that one kam to er and touched er, saiin’g, “Mistres Dee, you ar kon’keived of child, yos name myst ve Zacharias; ve of gyd chere, e sal do yyel as this doth!”
“This night my wife dreamed that one came to her and touched her, saying, ‘Mistress Dee, you are conceived of child, whose name must be Zacharias; be of good cheer, he shall do well as this doth!'”
Report on the Comet of 1580. Opening page of a pamphlet published in London reporting on the comet of 1580. The opening lines are: ‘A blazyng starre or burnyng beacon, seene the 10 October laste (and yet continewyng) set on fire by God’s providence, to call all sinners to earnest and speedie repentance’. The author Francis Shakelton is described as ‘minister and preacher of the worde of God’. At bottom is an Old Testament biblical quote: ‘I will show wonders in the heavens and in the earth, blood, and fire, and pillars of smoke’ (Joel, 2:30). Comets were often taken as an omen of some impending doom.
In John Dee’s diary note of November 22nd of the same year, he notes:
Nov. 22nd, the blasing star I cold see no more, though it were a cler night.

Hmmm.
What can I say? Could Pluto and Chiron been implicated in the comet’s arrival? By November 22, 1580, Pluto had moved past Chiron @ 3 degrees Aries. Food for thought?
I don’t remember seeing this image before yesterday (at least not in this lifetime), but what struck me immediately is how rich in astrological lore it is.
The ‘normal’ translation (as stated in Wikipedia) is:

But even to an untrained eye (as in, ‘I spy with my little eye’) Venus and Mercury were being highlighted, too. Since this is Dee’s Monad hieroglyph, I ‘knew’ that all seven of the ‘lights’ and ‘personal’ planets would be involved. And so it proved to be:
Maybe this image will help:
In my mind, this ‘glyph’ is an inverted Tree of Life.
I started reading this little book about the ‘oldest manuscript in the world’ yesterday.
What have I gleaned, so far?
The Language of the Book of Dzyan
Like all secret manuscripts stored in Shambhala, the Book of Dzyan is written in the sacred language of Senzar. It is the “materialized form” of the Voice of the Silence in which everything speaks in the Universe, and which every enlightened human heart is capable of understanding.
At the basis of the Senzar language lies a symbolism closely associated with sound, colour, light, and number. Formerly, this language was available to all humanity, but now only the Masters and Their disciples speak it. The language of Senzar consists of many levels. Its highest manifestations are the closest to the Voice of the Silence, which include thought-forms, the breathing of fires, the geometric expression from combinations of rays, and so on — these are simply impossible to explain in any human tongue — whereas its lowest manifestations resemble traditional writing systems with their own specific rules. Thus, the Angelic language of John Dee, a mysterious advisor to Queen Elizabeth I, is one of the variants of the script in the Senzar language.

The Voice of the Silence. What an evocative phrase. And what about John Dee: is this another hint at a past life?
This chart is randomized. All the other charts I’ve seen online are set at the birth date of July 13, 1527 @ 4.02 PM. But isn’t July 13th an Old Style Julian date? My computer program added 10 days to bring it into line with the New Style Gregorian calendar.
The Yod pointing at Uranus and formed by Pluto in Capricorn and the Ascendant in Scorpio is significant, as it quantifies the secretive and mystic qualities of the man. And the Moon inconjunct Venus aspect compliments that nature. (Because John Dee’s birth time is not known, really, the Sun/Moon/Ascendant T-square may actually be in operation, which would imply that he was perhaps transgender. Just saying…) However, all this is speculative, as so much of his life was hidden and unspoken.
But the man has always fascinated me. Need I say more?
Just so we’re on the same page: Pluto has been transiting Dee’s natal Pluto these past few weeks. So, maybe that’s why he has come up now in my research. Who knows?
