There’s one week to go before the last three contestants are unmasked and the winner is announced. To be sure, it’s a very strange and almost demonic, program, but it has its moments and last night’s Sun performance was ethereal.
Yesterday, Elliot Page introduced himself to the world. As far as I was concerned, no big a deal. But then I got to thinking, does his birth chart reveal similar configurations as Chaz Bono‘s chart?
No one knows what time Elliot was born, so I have rectified his chart to reflect his award-winning efforts in Juno which brought him to the attention of the world at age 20 (Moon), and the unexpected transgender news at age 33 (Uranus). I think this is absolutely correct.
So, the most important aspect in his chart is the Yod pointing to Gemini Rising (being in two minds) from Pluto in Scorpio (secret rebellion) and Neptune in Capricorn (a foot in two camps). The second most, but for our purposes the most, important aspect gives us a hint of the conflict going on within his being: Sun T-squared with the Moon and Ascendant. We saw a similar configuration in Chaz’s chart, only there the Sun and Moon were in opposition, squared to the Ascendant. Here the Moon and the Ascendant are opposed, square to the Sun. (Please note: this is not proof that everyone with this configuration wants to be the ‘other sex’.) This is a trend that we can review later.
My only quibble is that Elliot/Ellen could have taken on the non-binary role only, calling themselves E.L. Page. But, since he is already married, I guess he just wanted to normalize that relationship. But who am I to judge another? I’m only an astrologer.
On this day in history (in 1934), the man who was considered next in line from Joseph Stalin was shot in the neck while attending his offices in Leningrad (then Saint Petersburg). His death, and the subsequent show trial, became the excuse for Stalin to purge the Communist Party in Russia of any rivals. Stalin may also have been the reason for Kirov’s death, although that has never been proven.
No one knows what time Sergei Kirov was born, and I experimented with different birth times, before settling on 7:00 am, for no other reason than the (popular) Neptune conjunct his Ascendant in Taurus. There are two inconjuncts: Moon and Pluto; and the Sun and Mars. This combination would make him a threat to Stalin.
I’ve highlighted this photo before. In the end, Kirov was airbrushed out of history. So, the question is: did Stalin instigate his assassination?
There are two Fingers of God (Yods) and one inconjunct here that it seems that at least three reasons for the assassination are being highlighted.
Kirov’s natal Mercury is being pointed to by his ‘fatal’ Mercury and Mars; his natal Venus is being pointed to by his ‘fatal’ Mars and Pluto; and his ‘natal’ Jupiter is inconjunct his ‘fatal’ Uranus, while being conjunct to his ‘fatal’ Moon. This ‘feels’ like a popular politician was ‘sacrificed’, to secure power for the man at the top.
I guess it doesn’t pay to be too close to political power, does it?
We’ve all read her work, and probably laughed at her witticisms, but do we really know what was going on with her? Dorothy Parker was a writer without equal, but never had very much recognition for what she contributed to magazines, the film industry, and the stage. (She picked up two Oscar nominations, only.) Mostly, the people she lampooned felt the sting of her tongue, but that’s their problem, not hers.
This birth time is considered “good”. I think it might be spot on, because the spotlight was on her from a young age and she peaked early in her career(s). But I am sure that the double Yod pointing at the Moon in her chart tells the story of her life in one phrase: emotional pain. And her lonely end of life.

As you grow older, you will have to learn to make your feelings and your reason work together. The problem is not so much that they come into conflict with each other, but that your reason and feelings represent two very different sides of your personality. When you are calm and collected and able to reflect carefully, you make decisions in one way. But when you are emotionally involved in a situation, you are likely to make up your mind differently, which could cause you to seem inconsistent to others and make it difficult for them to understand you.
Candy is dandy, but liquor is quicker.

Moon Inconjunct Neptune
This aspect indicates that you are very sensitive and that you pick up feelings from the people around you very easily. The danger is that many of these feelings will be difficult to cope with; they may make you afraid of the world and reluctant to go out into it, as you must do when you are older. As a result, you prefer to be alone with your thoughts and let your fancies wander wherever they want to go. When you are older, this may help you use your imagination very creatively, but it won’t help you work out your everyday problems. You must learn to stand on your own and not depend on others. You also have to learn that you are worth as much as anyone else, for you may tend to withdraw when someone acts aggressive. But the adults who help you learn these lessons must be gentle and understanding. Otherwise you will shrink back into yourself. Above all, you must not be made to feel incompetent or inadequate, or you will think of yourself as a loser all your life.
Résumé
Razors pain you, Rivers are damp, Acids stain you, And drugs cause cramp. Guns aren’t lawful, Nooses give, Gas smells awful. You might as well live.

This aspect means that your emotions are very intense and not always easy to deal with. Often your feelings make you want to do or say something without knowing why. Also you may have very intense moods in which you withdraw from those around you into a world of your own. This should not be a very serious problem unless you have been brought up to have all sorts of fears and worries. In that case your actions will be driven by your fears, and you may behave quite strangely. If you do not feel accepted and emotionally supported at home, you may constantly feel guilty for what you think you have done to others, or jealous that people aren’t paying enough attention to you, or generally possessive of those around you.
Coincidence
By the time you swear you’re his, Shivering and sighing, And he vows his passion is Infinite, undying, Lady, make a note of this — One of you is lying.
For a number of years now, I have presumed that I was one of the Romans in Judea during Jesus’ time there. But I have had no real ‘proof’ because their lives and, especially, their deaths are not exactly known. That kinda put a crimp in my research.
Today, not having an inspiration to write anything, I decided to look at what is significant about November 30th. Of course, it’s Saint Andrew’s Day (as any Scot would be able to tell you). Looking at the Wikipedia page for him, I saw that his birth date is unknown, but listed as 5 AD or 10 AD. Wait a minute: isn’t the second year significant for me? OK. Now I need to check this out.
As you can guess, this time of death is randomized, and yet it points a Finger of God at Saturn, which is the planet that ties in with the year 10 AD in my chart. Is this a sign?
The North Node/South Node link between these two charts is indicative of past life/next life connections. My Venus is conjunct his ‘death’ Ascendant. His ‘death’ Mars is conjunct my Sun/Jupiter conjunction in Aquarius. His ‘death’ Saturn is conjunct my Uranus in Cancer. My Ascendant is conjunct his ‘death’ Uranus. And his ‘death’ Venus is conjunct my Moon in Scorpio. I think we have ‘proof’ of sorts.
And the Yod is still operating between the combined charts, only now there’s an inconjunct between Mars in St. Andrew’s ‘death’ chart and my own Saturn. Hmm.
We’re back in childhood territory again. I had two heroes on television in the 1950s: Zorro and Roy Rogers. I guess we could suggest that they represented the good and bad sides of my personality. This memory was triggered by Elton John’s song “Roy Rogers”.
This is considered an excellent time by a couple of astrology sites. I’m not so sure, as the timing of his marriages aren’t showing up where I think they’d be. However, for our purposes, we can concentrate on the inconjuncts, which are not dependent on the time.
Moon Inconjunct Venus
You need to be loved, even more than most people, particularly by your mother or another woman who takes the place of your mother. This need for love will be the force behind many of your actions. If you don’t find the love you are looking for, you will develop an insecure hunger for love from everyone you meet. However, you may express this in very strange ways, such as a desire for food, especially sweets, which unconsciously represent love to you.
There is also the danger that if you spend so much time and effort trying to get what you need, you will not be able to give love to others. Thus this aspect can mean that you indulge yourself and expect others to do everything for you. Of course, if people think you are looking at things this way, they will not be inclined to help you. This will drive you to seek love even more and make the pattern even stronger.
On the other hand, if you are given all of the love you need while you are young, that is, if you are loved totally for yourself as you are, you will develop confidence in that love. Then you will be able to love others, and the more love you give to others, the more you will get in return. However, there is a catch. You cannot give love solely because you expect to get it back, for people sense this and are put off by it.
Uranus Inconjunct Pluto (1892-1894 and 1911-1912)
This aspect indicates changes in the world of the people who were born at these times, changes that were difficult to understand because they were very revolutionary but subtle in many ways. The people born during the first period experienced the consequences of these changes through having to fight in the First World War. The second group reached maturity at the time of the Great Depression. Both the First World War and the Depression were expressions of the breakdown of the nineteenth-century world order that was dominated by Western Europe.
Rogers’ death time is presumed to be in the early evening on the day he died, because the newspapers reported it early the next day. By then, his legendary status was firmly assured: Neptune transiting his birth Ascendant.
Our final image is of him riding off into the sunset on Trigger, with Dale Evans by his side. The song was written for him, by his wife: doesn’t that say it all?
