This Artist Became a Cornish “Pixie”

Pamela Colman Smith (February 16, 1878 – September 18, 1951)

Most of us have handled her artwork if we picked up a Rider-Waite(-Smith) tarot deck. Pamela Colman Smith is the artist who designed the cards according to instructions from Arthur Edward Waite. Her transition pictures were featured on Cash Peters’ YouTube video yesterday, and I thought how much she reminds me of one of our family members (who shall remain nameless, here).

Because her birth time is unknown, I randomized the time. With the Moon transiting the Ascendant, I think we have a fairly correct, but accidental, time of birth. Strictly speaking, there are two inconjuncts but only one can be relied upon.

Jupiter Inconjunct Uranus (definite)

You will always need freedom, but you will also discover that what you do with your life will have meaning only if it means something to others. This is not an artificial rule but a truth that you will discover within yourself. When you do, you may become heavily involved in some social movement that advocates unusual ideas or ways of thinking.

Saturn Inconjunct Ascendant (perhaps)

You need to be encouraged to believe in yourself and to recognize your personal strength. You have to be helped to realize that you as an individual are worth a lot and that you need to get some satisfaction from life as much as the next person does.

And here’s a very long video discussing her life:

Her initials are on each tarot card

The More I Think About It, the More It Makes Sense

Jay Sebring is the Reincarnation of Paul Bern

Dorothy Millette Bern (March 15, 1886? – September 6, 1932)

The more I researched this story, the more it didn’t add up, until you think in terms of reincarnation.

Paul Bern married Jean Harlow in July, 1932. But he had been previously in a common-law relationship with Dorothy Millette. (The 1920 US Census lists them as married and living together in New York City.) They met in Montreal in 1911. Millette may also have been born in France in 1895, and not 1886 as listed on her grave marker. When Paul moved to Hollywood, Dorothy remained in New York at their apartment (and probably not in hospital as suggested by history). He supported her throughout their ‘marriage’, even when she moved to San Francisco in 1932. I’m fairly sure that her continued presence in Paul’s life was a constant threat to Jean’s happiness.

But Paul Bern was a man caught in the middle of a triangle not of his own making. I suspect his marriage to Jean Harlow was a Hollywood stunt that backfired spectacularly. The night of his death may have been the last act in a huge game of deception and lies.

But What Has That To Do With Jay Sebring?

Jay Sebring bought the old house at 9820 Easton Drive, Benedict Canyon, Los Angeles because he liked it. He was also aware of his history as the home that Paul Bern bought for Jean Harlow (even though she hated it), and the place where Paul died. He was following his own karmic trail.

Most people would pooh-pooh the idea, but Jay may have been trying to exorcize his own ghost story.

Jay’s Part of Fortune is conjunct Paul’s natal Ascendant. Jay’s Uranus is conjunct both Paul’s natal Moon and Paul’s ‘fatal’ Uranus. Jay’s Moon is in a wide conjunction to Paul’s natal North Node/Part of Fortune conjunction. Jay’s South Node is conjunct Paul’s ‘fatal’ Mercury. Jay’s Sun is conjunct Paul’s natal Mars. Jay’s Ascendant is opposite Paul’s natal Venus. Jay’s Venus/Mars conjunction is conjunct Paul’s ‘fatal’ Moon. Do you see how this ghost story is lining up? Jay wanted to undo the errors of the past by befriending Sharon, and being faithful to her, even unto death. What more can I say?

The “Haunting” of Sharon Tate

The Mysterious Death of Paul Bern (December 3, 1889 – September 5, 1932)

Honestly, this is not a photo of a happy couple, although it was taken on their wedding day in July, 1932. In fact, I’d lay odds on a bet that Paul Bern thought he was out of his depth marrying Jaen Harlow.

His death was considered a suicide, but too many unanswered questions make me hesitant to say what it really was. But before we get to my best guess opinion, here are three charts to compare:

I suppose the conjunction between Jean’s Sun and Paul’s ‘fatal’ North Node is what stands out for me. (They are both conjunct the ‘fatal’ Midheaven as set out for a 10 pm death.) Also, Jean’s and Paul’s natal Moons are connected to his ‘fatal’ Uranus, and Paul’s ‘fatal’ Saturn is conjunct Jean’s Uranus. Hmm.

So, I’m going out on a limb to state that Jean shot Paul that fatal night after catching him with his ‘former’ common-law wife, Dorothy Millette. But before you cast aspersions at me, consider this: when Paul Bern’s ghost scared the willies out of Sharon Tate that fateful night two years before her gruesome murder, Paul may have been getting his own revenge back. Think about it: why should Sharon Tate (and her unborn baby) have been so hideously slaughtered by the Manson “Family” if she really was so innocent of anything bad in her life? The Lords of Karma are not mocked. You reap what you sow.

And Just When I Thought Sharon Tate’s Story was Over

Jean Harlow, Sharon Tate and the “Creepy Little Man”

I think I’d come across this story previously, but then I had another stray comment from one of Sharon’s reincarnations.

If you could hear my inner Jean Harlow voice…she is so awesome!

OK, that got my attention. But because I do not have permission to use this individual’s birth chart, I am limited as to what I can show you. What I can do is compare Jean’s charts with Sharon’s birth chart.

So, the question must be: If Paul Bern shot himself in 1932, after being married to Jean Harlow for 2 months, could his spirit appear to Sharon Tate because she was the reincarnation of Jean Harlow?

According to journalist Dick Kleiner, in an interview with him Tate recalled a vision she had on a night when Sebring was out of town. She was already creeped out by every little sound in the house, when, as she was getting ready to sleep, a “creepy little man” appeared in her bedroom that she recognized as Paul Bern. She pulled on a bathrobe and ran out the room. She ran down the stairwell, and at the bottom, saw a blonde woman tied to a banister. Her throat was slit, and there was blood everywhere.

Fate Magazine

Was Paul Bern warning Jean Harlow or Sharon Tate (or both)? Hmm.

A Casual Comment Opens Up a New Avenue of Thought

The Curse of Anne Boleyn

I’d never thought about it before, but could Sharon Tate’s life and death be connected to Anne Boleyn’s?

The comment came in the latest of emails that I’m sharing with a reincarnation of Sharon Tate. She wrote that Roman Polanski was the reincarnation of Anne Boleyn’s executioner. Really?

There is no way to prove that comment, because the identity of the swordsman is not known. But could Sharon Tate’s chart be enough to prove a connection to Anne Boleyn? Of course, it could.

Sharon’s Saturn/Uranus conjunction in Gemini is connected to Anne’s ‘fatal’ Sun/Moon conjunction and Anne’s natal Saturn. Sharon’s Mars is conjunct Anne’s ‘fatal’ South Node AND Anne’s natal Moon. Finally, Sharon’s Pluto is conjunct Anne’s ‘fatal’ Part of Fortune, which is opposite Anne’s ‘fatal’ Pluto, and because that ‘fatal’ Pluto is conjunct Sharon’s Sun/Mercury conjunction, I believe we have the proof we need. When you add Sharon’s Neptune being opposite to Anne’s ‘fatal’ Jupiter/Neptune conjunction, this mystery would have stayed unknowable, had that comment not been made.

Another mystery solved!

The Eternal Friendship of Sharon Tate with…

Bruce Lee (November 27, 1940 – July 20, 1973)

I guess I should have seen this coming, but it would seem that Bruce Lee‘s friendship with Sharon Tate is ongoing. I won’t share the details, but a person living today is the reincarnation of Bruce Lee and his mother in this lifetime is the reincarnation of Sharon Tate. They worked together on “The Wrecking Crew”, a film starring Dean Martin as Matt Helm.

The websites that feature Bruce Lee’s birth chart state that they got the timing of his birth from his birth certificate. Still, it looks suspiciously like they chose dawn, because the Sun is transiting the Ascendant.

Sun Inconjunct Jupiter

This aspect has possibilities for positive and helpful energy. You may be a very optimistic person who helps people in need at the critical moment. If so, others will help you when you need it. If you can control yourself and keep from going overboard, you will find that you can be quite lucky. But don’t assume that luck will always carry you through. Work as hard as you can to get what you want and act fairly and honestly with others, then the luck will be there.

Jupiter Inconjunct Ascendant

Probably you will accomplish the most if you direct your energies to tasks that benefit others as well as yourself. It may be that much of your work will not benefit you directly, but in the long run you will gain from it. This is not merely a plea for you to be unselfish, but an assertion that you will achieve your own goals most quickly by doing work that helps others.

However, the stellium of planets in Scorpio lends a sense of mystery to Mr. Lee as these planets all reside in his 11th House (of Groups and Associations). And they are opposed by a Jupiter/Saturn conjunction in Taurus. Evidently, a new Star was born that day. Three of those planets (the Moon, Venus and Mars) are also in a T-square with an 8th House (of Death) Pluto. Hmm.

Behind the scenes of “The Wrecking Crew”?

I really like this image of Bruce Lee and Sharon Tate together. How could Roman Polanski have even considered for one moment that Bruce could have killed Sharon? Their friendship is eternal.

Another Turn of the Wheel of Time

The Fourth Turning

An illustration of the ‘four turns’ from 2010

According to a book from 1991, the world (and mostly, America) goes through a cycle of four turns.

People are wondering when the Fourth Turning will end: the latest estimate is 2030.

In his review for the Boston Globe, historian David Kaiser called The Fourth Turning “a provocative and immensely entertaining outline of American history, Strauss and Howe have taken a gamble”. “If the United States calmly makes it to 2015, their work will end up in the ashcan of history, but if they are right, they will take their place among the great American prophets.” Kaiser has since argued that Strauss and Howe’s predictions of coming crisis seems to have occurred, citing events such as 9/11, the 2008 financial crisis, and the recent political gridlock.

Kaiser has incorporated Strauss and Howe’s theory in two historical works of his own, American Tragedy: Kennedy, Johnson, and the Origins of the Vietnam War (2000), and No End Save Victory: How FDR Led the Nation into War (2014). Michael Lind, a historian and co-founder of the New America Foundation, wrote that The Fourth Turning (1997) was vague and verged into the realm of “pseudoscience”; “most of the authors’ predictions about the American future turn out to be as vague as those of fortune cookies”. Lind said that the theory is essential “non-falsifiable” and “mystifying,” although he believed the authors did have some insights into modern American history.

For The New York Times in 2017, Pulitzer-winning journalist Jeremy Peters wrote that “many academic historians dismiss the book as about as scientific as astrology or a Nostradamus text.”

The Fourth Turning (Wikipedia)

Because the generations seem to be of a 20-25 year duration, I wondered if this theory is actually just a disguise for the cycles of Saturn (Father Time).

Now, admittedly, this would make the generational energy last almost 30 years, but the effect is similar. Take this illustration for one person’s career, as an example:

So, the question is: are people waking up to the fact that Astrology is more than just a pseudo-science?

Finally, Let’s Recognize Some Hidden Knowledge

Greek Letter #25 – Psi

This isn’t something new, but something very, very old. It’s a symbol for what you and I would refer to these days as parapsychology. But here’s the thing: it looks like a Trident, and a sigil for Neptune. A-ha!

Need I say anything more?

One Scene Took Me Back to My High School Years

Firefly Lane (2021 – 2023)

We have been watching this Netflix series for the past week or so. We are almost done our marathon viewing. As an emotional roller-coaster, it has been a hard slog, for me personally. But it is informative as a way of seeing the world through the point of view of two American women growing up in that time.

Last night’s episode went back to when their high school English class studied “Romeo and Juliet”.

It reminded me of the time when we studied the same Shakespearean play in school. What made it significant was how awkward the words were, when spoken without realizing their meaning. I’m sure we can all relate to that. It wasn’t until Franco Zeffirelli’s film version came out in 1968 that their tragic love story finally became real. You could ‘feel’ it, right to your core.

I must have been just the right age to finally understand.

I’ve been an incurable romantic, ever since.

This Person’s Death is More Personal than the Rest:

The Murder of Jill Dando (April 26, 1999)

There is a documentary to be aired on Netflix early next week. Most people on this side of the Atlantic Ocean will not know who she was. But in the UK, you would be hard pressed to find anyone who didn’t recognize Jill Dando, and her murder on the front step of her house hit the nation hard.

As Dando was about to put her keys in the lock to open the front door of her home in Fulham, she was grabbed from behind. With his right arm, the assailant held her and forced her to the ground, so that her face was almost touching the tiled step of the porch. Then, with his left hand, he fired a single shot at her left temple, killing her instantly. The bullet entered her head just above her ear, parallel to the ground, and came out the right side of her head.

Bob Woffinden, The Guardian (July 2002)
People saw Jill Dando as the TV Diana

As my other ‘forensic’ astrologers would note, a 4th House Mars is indicative of the killer. This person is a mystery, mainly because Mars is in the secretive sign of Scorpio. It is also an indication of it being a revenge killing. The identification and conviction of Barry George would later be overturned. So, who did it?

That Finger of God (Yod) pointing at the Moon may be a clue. This act was an emotional response. But why? Was this a spurned lover, a Crimewatch subject, or a Serbian warlord?

On the night of her death, Dando’s BBC colleague Nick Ross said on Newsnight that retaliatory attacks by criminals against police, lawyers and judges were almost unknown in the UK. Forensic examination of the cartridge case and bullet recovered from the scene of the attack suggested that the weapon used had been the result of a workshop conversion of a replica or decommissioned gun. It was argued that a professional assassin would not use such a poor quality weapon. The police therefore soon began to favour the idea that the killing had been opportunistically carried out by a crazed individual. This assumed profile of the perpetrator led to the focus on George.

Cold case reviews by the police after 2008 concluded that Dando was killed by a professional assassin in a “hard contact execution”. Pressing the gun against her head would have acted as a suppressor — muffling the sound of the shot and preventing the killer from being splattered with blood. In 2012, a cold case review named Serbian warlord Arkan as a suspect, although by this time he had died.

Wikipedia

Whomever was responsible for her killing has never been caught (if you eliminate Barry George from their enquiries). In any event, her funeral had all the hallmarks of the assassination of a British royal.

R.I.P. Miss Dando.
