I don’t normally feature the life and death of a terrorist leader on these posts, but today I’m making an exception. What I’m hoping to do is show how fanaticism can cloud the mind of an individual while he’s living and how that cloud can overshadow his spirit after death.
But first, let’s look at a ‘soul crossing’ video by Cash Peters which features Osama bin Laden:
Those ‘iron rods’ seem significant, at least to me. That’s the effect of the strict teachings of Islam.
This chart is rectified to show the timing of his first marriage (Venus) at age 17. The resulting conjunction between Jupiter and the Ascendant @ 27° Virgo would therefore represent Islam in his life.

For the most part, you are very tolerant of other people’s ways, except perhaps concerning ethical behavior. Even as a young person, your ideas of right and wrong are well defined. Your code of ethics may be different from other people’s, but it is nonetheless strong. As long as people don’t break your rules, you let them be. But if someone violates your sense of ethics, you get quite angry and even unforgiving, unless the person in question is extremely apologetic and sorry for his or her actions.
To many people of the Muslim faith, America is the Great Satan, and therefore must be destroyed. Bin Laden thought so, too. So, his jihad against Americans was truly a ‘Holy War’.
What he didn’t expect was that they would strike back, almost 10 years later.
In real terms, Saturn is the ‘Great Satan’ and here a vast amount of planetary energy is arrayed against it. What bin Laden hadn’t realized was that by making him Public Enemy #1, the United States had turned his position into that of the ‘bad guy’. He did not expect to be captured or killed. Allah was on his side.
But, karma being what it is (an unsentimental reaction to one’s own actions), the US managed to do what no one else could: they removed him from the story. And the rest is history, eh?
The doomsday scenario has been with us for a very long time now, and you know what I mean: Armageddon. For as long as there have been believers in a vengeful god, there have been others warning them that they have strayed a long way from his laws. (Notice that I have not capitalized the words…)
Because I have a Gnostic worldview, I recognize the existence of a world ruler that is not necessarily on our side. That energy is trying to keep us on the straight-and-narrow path, to keep us under control. Over time, I’ve come to realize that religion was the way it was done.
Religion is a social-cultural system of designated behaviors and practices, morals, beliefs, worldviews, texts, sanctified places, prophecies, ethics, or organizations, that relates humanity to supernatural, transcendental, and spiritual elements.
If you have been reading any of my posts over the last few years, you will understand why I am reluctant to take scripture as the gospel truth. So, when another blogger on WordPress warns her countrymen to turn away from their evil ways or else… I get a little concerned. How did the USA become a modern-day tribe of Hebrews? The Old Testament is full of prophets of the Lord trying to correct Israel’s behaviour. But that was then, and this is now. America IS NOT Israel. And any thought directed that way is totally misguided.
Heaven and Hell
If you have a Sunday School mentality, you will naturally buy into the idea of reward and punishment. “Be good, so that you can go to heaven.” “If you’re bad, you’ll go to hell.”
What if neither exists except as a state of mind?
Life on earth can be enough of a ‘punishment’ without the added element of eternity. In truth, we never cease to exist, so our mental state while in the flesh dictates how our lives will be: blessed or cursed.
Our WordPress prophet “The Master’s Voice” truly believes that God is talking directly to her every night, in dreams and then in that limbo state between sleep and consciousness. Her ‘instructions’ (for want of a better term) are to share her visions and the Lord’s word to everybody who will listen. She even has a YouTube channel. But to me the overall vibration of Celestial’s work is ‘negative’.
I asked her yesterday in the comments on one of her latest posts:
Where is the HOPE? Where is the LOVE? Where is the REDEMPTION? (She has since deleted my comment. Do you wonder why?)
Not here, I’m afraid. (And I am being ironic with the use of that last word.)
It is through the trials and tribulations you experience during life that the spark of Divinity shines through. The testing of character while restricted in a body, brings out the Light that is inherent in all things. Through being dispassionate, but not unconcerned, truth comes. Emotion and feeling at totally different things, and through being calm with challenges, as you encounter them, clarity comes, knowing you are up to any task you confront. Many of these tasks are hidden behind the mundanity of everyday life. Boredom can cloud judgement. It is easy to take the ‘unchallenging’ path, but this route will not enhance your growth.
You have been given an intellect which needs to be honed.
The world is full of distractions which can act like a drug and produce laziness. In each life, time is limited… that is the gift. There is so much you could do with it, or you could rest with inertia. Going with the flow is a state of mind: it does not mean doing nothing, for you must be awake when opportunity comes your way.
The COVID pandemic has forced a re-evaluation of life. A gift to be embraced or bemoaned, everyone is affected to a greater or lesser extent. Different countries and cultures have their own individual challenges. To “take up your bed and walk” does not only refer to ill health, but also how to conduct your life.
It comes from a knowing: formed through some stories you have been told; and also from an innate knowledge at your soul level.
While living in a society that relies on a conformity of behaviour, outside forces are used to unite and discipline the people. During the coming times, the individual will reject those outside influences and develop and accept the certainty that their truth is inborn. With that inner knowing one can go beyond belief into a state of being that will transcend the limitations that have been imposed. This can only happen when a recognition of personal responsibility is embraced.
Such a transition will not come overnight.
It will take generations to reach this place of advancement. It requires the desire to live in truth, to analyse all sources of information and search within to feel what is ‘real’. Then we will reach an agreement that all will work towards the common good, using individuality without ego, allowing the need of ‘it’s mine to control’ to finally dissolve. As this will take many generations, it will happen slowly. This is The Plan for the evolution of mankind. Each soul is learning to manifest through the mask of humanity, using “beauty” and “ugliness” to spiritualise matter.
What time you spend writing is assisting the flow of words coming clearly to you.
There will be a time when more relevant information will be produced and you will have the confidence to receive it. You are learning to trust that what you have is correct, and, while doubt is inevitable, you will receive confirmation. A single drop of water in a bowl sends out ripples. So will the writings you send: they will go out in ways you will never imagine. Don’t be despondent and give up. Just discipline yourself and feedback will come, and evidence of truth will come as well.
In the list of things to do there are many options. The passage of time does bring its own rewards and with it certainty that much has been accomplished. You never know how a small and insignificant action will generate a new direction with greater rewards. Be assured that the current situation will resolve itself in an unexpected way, so listen to your heart and your own sincere intention. All will resolve itself.
Galloping ahead is exciting but this is not the path you are following.
Yours in a quiet way, hidden behind a simple life, without ambition or a need to prove, only to serve. With that intent all will be resolved and much accomplished. Be at peace, and practice that when feeling upset or ruffled. Others have issues to resolve which have nothing to do with you.
Bringing forth truth is the mission here and in a quiet way much will be achieved. Trust in the friendship you have found and bring forward a united balance in the work that you do. Listen to that small voice. In different ways you will see great changes in the form and impulse of the work to come.
It is a simple path using all the means at your disposal.
Both of you are eager to serve. Impulses will abound and understanding will come. Simple ways are always the best and do not be concerned with outcomes. Just writing is enough, sharing a joint goal of service, each using their own talents.
Jimi Hendrix (November 27, 1942 – September 18, 1970)
Have you ever noticed that most Jimi Hendrix photos show him in mid-song? This was a man in constant musical motion. He and his band The Experience were the toast of London when they started to play there in 1966. But no one knew how to classify their work.
Hendrix said: “We don’t want to be classed in any category … If it must have a tag, I’d like it to be called, ‘Free Feeling’. It’s a mixture of rock, freak-out, rave and blues”
(I’d considered calling this post: He Wanted to Know “Are You Experienced?” Purple Haze was the first song I’d heard of his, and its spaced-out sound was instantly memorable. So most of my focus, ever since, has been through a purple haze, spiritually.)

Jupiter Inconjunct Ascendant
With this aspect, you may discover that in order to grow and get ahead in life, you will have to put aside your own needs and do whatever the situation or other people require. His Death: Accidental Asphyxiation
Details are disputed concerning Hendrix’s last day and death. He spent much of September 17, 1970, with Monika Dannemann in London, the only witness to his final hours. Dannemann said that she prepared a meal for them at her apartment in the Samarkand Hotel around 11 p.m., when they shared a bottle of wine. She drove him to the residence of an acquaintance at approximately 1:45 a.m., where he remained for about an hour before she picked him up and drove them back to her flat at 3 a.m. She said that they talked until around 7 a.m., when they went to sleep. Dannemann awoke around 11 a.m. and found Hendrix breathing but unconscious and unresponsive. She called for an ambulance at 11:18 a.m., and it arrived nine minutes later. Paramedics transported Hendrix to St Mary Abbot’s Hospital where Dr. John Bannister pronounced him dead at 12:45 p.m. on September 18.

That Neptune @ 28° Scorpio 32′ (transiting the Ascendant) lends this event its mysterious aura. At the same time the Moon is inconjunct Uranus, not a good sign either. Did Monika overdose him, or did he willingly take 18 times the recommended dosage of Vesparax? At any rate, he aspirated his own vomit, which is never a good way to die. The coroner left it as an open verdict.

This honorably discharged soldier created one of the most iconic versions of the Star Spangled Banner, as seen at Woodstock in 1969.
This post was inspired by a conversation I had yesterday with my son, Derek. We were discussing how Val Kilmer had absolutely nailed the portrayal of Jim Morrison in Oliver Stone’s film “The Doors”. I hadn’t thought to do Morrison’s birth chart until that moment. But first, a little ‘memory’ of his own:
In 1947, when he was three to four years old, Morrison allegedly witnessed a car accident in the desert, during which a truck overturned and some American Indians were lying injured at the side of the road. He referred to this incident in the Doors’ song “Peace Frog” on their 1970 album Morrison Hotel, as well as in the spoken word performances “Dawn’s Highway” and “Ghost Song” on the posthumous 1978 album An American Prayer. Morrison believed this incident to be the most formative event of his life, and made repeated references to it in the imagery in his songs, poems, and interviews.

According to most astrology sites, this timing is ‘excellent’. Well, I can’t argue with that assessment when the placement of the Moon @ 9° Taurus seems to mark the event of the witnessed accident at the right age. Its impression on his young mind would be enough to make him remember it his whole life.

A small reminder re: the timing of this chart. This is the time that he was found in the bath, not the moment he died, so some important information may be missing from our analysis.
Excluding the ‘obvious’ Mars inconjunct Ascendant aspect (based on the discovery time), the inconjuncts hint that there are two subtle messages we’re receiving about what may have been going on in Morrison’s mind.
Mercury Inconjunct Mars
If you can learn to control this aspect, you will be able to spend a long time on mental work, as long as you are interested in what you are doing. But you will have to learn when to stop. You may work too hard or get too wrapped up in some idea that you are studying and not be able to relax. Get into the habit of taking a break before you get too overtired.
Venus Inconjunct Jupiter
This can be a positive aspect if you learn to control some of its negative possibilities. You are likely to lack energy and to be rather passive. You may wait for opportunities to come to you, rather than go after hem. You may not have enough energy to pursue your ambitions, or you may not have much ambition. Or you may love your comfort so much that you are unwilling to make any effort or put up with any pain that could help you grow and develop. However, if there are any indications of energy in your chart, they should overcome the passivity.
I submit for your consideration that Jim Morrison may have been trying to ‘break on through to the other side’ when he died.
