How to “See”: Gaze Without Looking

Green eyed gaze

Scrying

I was walking the dogs this morning, when a thought occurred to me: “gaze without seeing”. We had just crossed the road and a car was approaching. A cursory glance showed me that it was a Kia, and nothing else. I couldn’t tell you whether the driver was male or female, what the colour of the car was, or even the licence plate numbers.

I had focused on the badge only, and didn’t see anything else. But I knew, in my mind, that my consciousness had captured the whole sequence without any effort on my part.

How do I know this? Because I am a hypnotherapist and one of the surprising things that happens during a session is the client’s ability to remember the slightest details of anything that is brought to mind by the process.

The term for this is “scrying”. It is the method with which Nostradamus was able to see into the future. It is also something that we often do, naturally, every day. We call it daydreaming.

Meditation

Goal of meditation

If you have ever tried to meditate, everything tries to intrude on your quiet space: the noises of people and equipment; shopping lists for later; and memories from the past. You name it, and it will come to mind.

In the West, we think this means that we’ve failed to meditate properly. That is because we think our minds should be empty. So, when a thought impinges on our consciousness, we become obsessed.

A simple technique to overcome this tendency  is to view each thought as a boat on a river. Watch it go by, without jumping into the water and trying to swim towards it. I’ve written about this before here. But it bears repeating:

Staring

We’re taught from any early age that it’s rude to stare, and yet that is probably the best way to “see”. Have you ever watched someone looking into the ‘middle space’? They’re there in body, but not in spirit. They’re somewhere else.

gaze+to+look+at+someone+or+something+for+a+long+time,+giving+it+all+your+attention,+often+without+realizing+you+are+doing+so+ᅳsynonym+stare.

Carlos Castaneda was taught by Don Juan that in order to catch sight of spiritual entities, he had to stare straight ahead, without seeing, and then become aware of energy in his peripheral vision.

We need to do the same. So, the next time you need to work something out, don’t focus on it: look somewhere else, and the answer will come to you, seemingly unbidden.

Repent: the End is Nigh?

Repent

Courtesy of Chris Goringe

John the Baptist Said It First*

“Repent, for the kingdom of heaven is at hand.” (Matthew 3:2)

From that time Jesus began to preach, saying, “Repent, for the kingdom of heaven is at hand.” (Matthew 4:17)

But what does that actually mean?

re·pent
rəˈpent/
verb
verb: repent; 3rd person present: repents; past tense: repented; past participle: repented; gerund or present participle: repenting
  1. feel or express sincere regret or remorse about one’s wrongdoing or sin.
“the priest urged his listeners to repent”
synonyms: feel remorse, regret, be sorry, rue, reproach oneself, be ashamed, feel contrite; More

be penitent, be remorseful, be repentant
“the senator claims to have repented”
    • view or think of (an action or omission) with deep regret or remorse.
“Marian came to repent her hasty judgment”
    • archaic
      feel regret or penitence about.
“I repent me of all I did”
Origin
Middle English: from Old French repentir, from re- (expressing intensive force) + pentir (based on Latin paenitere ‘cause to repent’).
*in the New Testament.

What if it means something else?

As sometimes happens when I hear a word in English, I begin  to go down different neural pathways, usually listening for the seemingly unintended ‘pun’. That’s what happened on Friday in our “Faith and Science” group meeting.

It was the use of “pent” that did it.

Is this another one of those ‘hidden in plain sight’ concepts?

I wonder…

The Orans Posture

Orans posture

No matter how you look at it, the outspread hands signify something sacred. Could it be that the priest in the Eucharist is showing us the way to actually pray?

Did Hitler Escape Death?

adolf-hitler-9340144-3-raw

The Second Most Hated Man in 2000 Years

We have an obsession with ‘bad’ people. They fascinate us. They make us think about evil in human terms. They spawn conspiracy theories about escaping justice and death. The most obvious example in the last 2000 years was Pontius Pilate. Adolf Hitler runs a close second.

The reason I’m tackling this delicate matter is entirely due to YouTube making a video about this situation a recommendation for me to watch today. I did watch it, and then I thought, “What do his birth and death charts say about this?”

Hitler’s Birth Chart (rectified)

HitlerAdolfWREJC1

The planets are mostly in pairs: Sun and Mercury; Venus and Mars; Moon and Jupiter; Neptune and Pluto. This makes it difficult to read his exact character, and the legend of his own mythology comes shining to the forefront.

You would not normally expect a Libra Rising individual to be in a position of authority, making tough decisions. However, the fact that the Ascendant is opposite the Sun/Mercury conjunction could be the trigger to make him act, when things had to get done. The Mercury in Aries energy was the stronger of the two, and it could overcome the stubborn reaction of the Sun in Taurus.

His speeches were renowned for being electric: Uranus conjunct the Ascendant would give him that eloquence.

But the hidden bit would be Neptune and Pluto in Gemini in the 8th House. Pluto is inconjunct his Moon of the Moon/Jupiter conjunction in Capricorn. This means that it’s all about his emotions. The lone Saturn in Leo in the 10th House made him the Führer.

Now Add the Death Chart

HitlerAdolfWBAGE2

The death chart doesn’t given a definitive answer like Robin Williams’ Perfect Storm. This may be due to the fact that his decision to commit suicide may have been influenced by outside forces, namely the Soviet troops entering Berlin. But there are a couple of indicators: the Part of Fortune being in opposition to the birth chart’s Ascendant. And the death chart’s Moon is inconjunct birth chart’s Venus and Mars.

The positioning of Pluto in the birth chart is timed to about 56 years, the age he was when he and his new bride, Eva, committed suicide. So, I see this as a kind of ‘proof’.

Enter John Doe

After I posted my blog about David Wilcock being the reincarnation of Edgar Cayce I was contacted by an individual who was in touch with a unnamed person (I’ve called him John Doe) who claimed to be Adolf Hitler reincarnated. Well, that got my attention.

HitlerDeathofAdolfWBAGE3

He gave me the birth details, and I compared Doe’s birth chart with Hitler’s death chart. It didn’t conform to the premise that I’d found with Wilcock and Cayce, so I told this man that in my opinion, John Doe may have been associated with Hitler’s final days but that I doubted he was Hitler reincarnated.

Now, because of the YouTube video, I’m revisiting this idea for the first time in years. Now I see that I had been too hasty in my analysis.

Doe’s birth Ascendant is conjunct the Jupiter/Ascendant conjunction in Hitler’s death chart. And the ‘hot’ death point of Hitler’s 9th House cusp is conjunct Hitler’s death Sun. The tie-in is almost exact. That tends to sway me.

Hitler did die on April 30, 1945 and he was reborn as “John Doe” on August 24, 1983. That puts an end to the conspiracy theory of his escape as far as I am concerned.

Conclusion

Adolf Hitler committed suicide. Edgar Cayce died. The rebirth patterns cannot conform to each other, due to the circumstances of their demise. (That’s why this work is on-going: there is so much to learn.)

Even Hitler gets to come back to continue his journey through life. As Doe he will help atone for the harm he caused to six million Jews, and many, many others. This may take a huge toll on Doe, but when his life is over, he’ll be able to go onward and upward.

If this can happen to Hitler, then there’s hope for us all.

Talisman: Good Protection?

Saint Joseph

Catholic Faith

I was baptized Catholic at St. Basil’s Church, 50 St. Joseph Street, Toronto on August 16, 1953. But I was never a practicing one. My life’s journey took me down the Protestant path instead.

I don’t think that this has made any difference to my life, but sometimes I wonder.

The above pendant was given to me by a good friend in 1987, just before I flew back to Canada for a visit. She wanted me to be ‘safe’. However, the written words on the back tell of a different purpose to this keepsake.

Prayer to Saint Joseph

Joseph, like the people of your time, and like us today, you were familiar with doubt, worry, anguish and suffering. Your desire was to be attentive to the manifestation of God’s will. Help us to identify how we can best overcome our difficulties…

Remember, O most chaste spouse of the Virgin Mary, that never has it been known that anyone who asked for your help and sought your intercession was left unaided…

Talisman

The point of the exercise may have been to direct my attention to the fact that I could ask for help. As a Protestant, I have never been afraid to pray for help from God, through Jesus Christ’s name. And I have been ‘protected’ by a Guardian Angel since I was “knee-high to a grasshopper”.

In fact, the saint for whom I was named, Christopher, may be my real protector.

In 2007, I had a minor car accident. It happened on a newly wet road out of Totnes, after a successful interview with the company Auto Trader. I was on my way back to the temporary job I had in Kingsteinton, and the car in front spun around the full 360°. To avoid hitting it, I turned my Fiesta toward the side of the road, which unfortunately was slightly banked. It turned my car over onto the driver’s side.

I only had a couple of minor cuts on my right arm when the window smashed, but other than that, nothing too catastrophic.

However, this was the same day that I was to take possession of a new flat in Torquay, in order to move out of a home I shared with Dianne.

Saint Christopher Medal

Almost exactly one month later, Susan contacted me through Classmates.com. When she heard that I was to come back to Canada for a visit in August to meet my ‘birth’ family for the first time, she sent me a medal for my safe journey.

Saint Christopher

I have been wearing it ever since, and keeping within the speed limit…

Thank you, Susan.

Sweet Dream

happy-relationships-in-a-relationship

Budding sprouts, begging for some attention,

Ripe for the plucking, call out to the night:

Oh, Sweet Dream, bring her back into my sight;

Catch her thoughts, and relieve this strange tension

Caught in my senses at the mere mention

Of her name; she’s become my shining light,

Lessening the darkness and the fright

In my heart caused by discord, dissension.

All I want is to feel her gentle touch

Nipping at the ice which surrounds my

Days and fills up my lonely midnight hours.

Yes, Sweet Dream, come outside of me with such

Orgasmic delight that my love may sigh

Up to the heavens’ bright golden towers.

Temple of the Knights Templar?

The Holy Place

The Treasure

As I have chronicled previously in these pages, there is something ‘special’ about Rennes-le-Château.

I didn’t know that Henry Lincoln had written about the geometry of the landscape. So, imagine my surprise when I came across this book in a local thrift shop!

In it, he goes through the process of finding a natural pentagram in the land around Rennes-le-Château, formed by the mountain peaks. And then, other alignments present themselves.

When I looked at this previously, there was a presumption that “X” marks the spot of the “Tomb of God”. but now the ‘treasure’ has taken on a more monumental, etheric nature. The whole area is a gigantic Temple.

The Mapping of the Pentagrams

RLC2 Woods and Lincoln pentas

I won’t go into the intricacies of this mapping, but suffice it to say that the implications are huge. And at the centre of all of this is a symbol of the Divine Goddess.

Lincoln himself admits to a lack of true understanding of what this could mean:

“Rennes-le-Château came to the notice of the world because it was the centre of a mystery. Whispers of buried treasure, hints of heresy, suggestions of strange occult rites and of secret societies, even flying saucers have been suggested as the ‘truth’ behind that mystery. This book does not claim to have solved the riddle. Rather am I aware that I have simply dragged into the light of reason why the centre of all this mystification is Rennes-le-Château and not some other location upon the face of the earth.

“And yet still a mystery remains. Over the centuries, countless people must have been aware of the truth of the discovery which I have made. The devisers of the Paris Meridian, the painter Poussin, the priests Bigou, Boudet and Saunière — and how many others? In one way or another they felt the need, like the Barber of Midas, to pass on their secret knowledge, and they did so cryptically. They spoke in riddles because they seemed to be gripped by some mysterious constraint. Why? It is a resonant question and one which I cannot answer. I certainly feel no such constraint. Nor can I see any reason to conceal such a discovery. It may be, though, that my willingness to reveal it owes less to my knowledge of the discovery than it does to my ignorance of its implications for my predecessors.

“I am aware of no necessity to speak in riddles as they have done. But in that necessity may lie the greatest mystery of all.“

Conclusion

We love a good mystery. We love researching to uncover the Truth. But what if we have no clue as to why there should even be a mystery in the first place?

I suspect that the Truth is stranger than fiction.

Together

Together

Maybe I hadn’t made it clear enough,

And painted the picture a bit too bright:

Reality can give an awful fright,

Reducing strong resolve when it gets rough.

I know that in our hearts we both are tough

As nails and sharp as tacks, ready to fight

Gigantic problems, reaching for the Light,

Even though we feel as weak as lint fluff.

Perhaps together joined as man and wife

Little problems of pettiness will fade;

Ev’rything that’s positive in this life

Abounds in you, so let’s share/do a trade:

Spiritual knowledge for energy

Enough to enlighten both you and me.

Rejected

abwehrende Haltung einer Frau

Depending on the time of month and mood,

One understands another’s point of view:

Not all the time, of course, but when you do,

Tremendous feelings are not misconstrued.

Perhaps there is a need: but why be rude?

Unless I’m causing too much pain for you,

Sharing all my disappointments, which grew

Haphazardly like mould on stale old food.

Maybe there is no way to right the wrongs,

Except by letting go security…

As we both know, there is no surety,

When working out where one thinks he belongs:

A word, by you, with feeling, selected,

Yet true, can stop my feeling rejected.

Mercy Me!

Image of a Sister of Mercy courtesy of Wikipedia

As lightning struck my life one week ago,

Some elemental truth has filtered through.

I saw the first thing in months that I know

Signifies a reunion of you two.

The ring on your fourth finger seems to say,

Ev’rything’s back to normal: we’re in our

Rightful places, so no more will we stray

Outside of marriage or cause dishonour.

For me, that message comes as quite a shock.

Maybe I should have been expecting it.

Even so, it shook me up. (History

Repeats itself ’til we take careful stock.)

Can I release some Karma now, admit

You’re my best friend and let you sister me?

Another Russian Dream

Vladimir_Putin_(2017-07-08)

Vladimir Putin courtesy of Wikipedia

Back in the USSR

In my early 30’s, I had a dream that seemed impossible to me. I was a Russian living in the Soviet Union. The whole night was taken up with images and circumstances that only a Russian would be aware of. How could that be?

My initial thought was that I was living two lives, and during the day, I lived and worked in Canada, and by night, I was in the USSR. Weird, eh?

Years later, I came to understand that this, in fact, could be true!

Putin

PutinVladimirWREJC1

This is the rectified birth chart for Vladimir Putin. It is rectified to recognize recent events in his life, mainly because no one knows for sure when he was born.

Any astrologer would see almost immediately why other world leaders have a hard time working out his next moves: the Sun/Saturn/Neptune/Mercury conjunction in Libra in the 8th House. When people speak of the Russian Bear, they are most certainly picking up his vibe.

I’m not going to focus on Putin in this post, but I just wanted to get his chart ‘out there’.

Last Night

I was back in Russia, Moscow to be exact. But this time I was working in close connection to Putin. I suspect my past life as a spy might be the reason for the connection.

My personality in that world is much the same it is in this life: stubborn, independent minded, and rebellious of authority figures.

Plus ça change, plus c’est la même chose.

The only other insight I had was that Putin and the people who work closely with him take a cocktail of drugs and vitamins daily to maintain their strength and good health.

I wonder what the West will make of that…
