All Along the Watchtower

Armageddon cover

Jehovah’s Witnesses

We have all experienced being door-stopped by a couple of ‘missionaries’ who want to share their “Good News” with us.

As a student of the Bible, I do not mind discussing their interpretation of Jehovah’s Word, but I sense that they’ve learned their lines by rote, and do not actually understand what they are sharing.

The emphasis of their evangelism is the End Times, which we all acknowledge seems to be Now. But the fact that they think they are part of the Elect (144,000 co-rulers with Jesus) is where I think the ‘wheels have come off the bus’.

They do not believe in Life After Death, but they hope for the Resurrection. They acknowledge (gradual) Reincarnation after God’s Kingdom is inaugurated on Earth, when all ‘sins’ will be removed, leaving only present actions to determine one’s ‘fate’.

October 1914 was the date this all started, and Christ’s thousand year plan for Earth will bring us back to the Garden of Eden.

First Century Christianity

None of this is new. In fact, from the very beginning, the Essenes predicted that the Messiah would do all of the above.

The only ‘fly in the ointment’ is Satan. His control of this world is so complete that one must stay separate from the World in order to stay pure.

The beliefs of the Early Christians were the same, until the State joined forces with the Church, and then everything changed.

Seemingly, the Way of the Pure Ones had to go underground until the present day. (Does this sound familiar?)

Most Persecuted Sect in the 20th Century

They do not serve in the military, salute any country’s flag, vote in elections or celebrate ‘pagan-based’ events like Christmas, Easter or birthdays.

This means they stand apart from the rest of Christianity, and are viewed with suspicion by Christians of other sects. Governments see them as seditious (especially during times of war). But they stand firm that their beliefs are the “Truth”.

An Interesting Insight

In my extended family are several Jehovah’s Witnesses. I saw a post by one of them on Facebook that was an ‘a-ha’ moment for me. They referred to themselves as JW’s.

So, they think of themselves as Christian “Jews”. That helped me to finally understand what they are trying to achieve. Purity, so that Jehovah will “harvest” them to Heaven, leaving the rest of us (our choice) to death and destruction.

Wow.

Personal Bankruptcy

personal-bankruptcy-canada

In Canada

The concept of having your debts wiped out and starting again is very attractive, on the surface, at least.

The law has an escape clause that allows someone deep in debt to come out from underneath the weight of the obligation.

But there are some things you should know before you take that path.

What you can keep and what you lose

Here’s a simple list of the wins and losses in claiming bankruptcy:

Keep-or-Lose-in-Bankruptcy-Canada

Total Debt Amount Defines Trustee Payments

After you keep track of your income versus expenses for six months, your Trustee in Bankruptcy will then define how much you need to contribute to your fund, and how long you need to pay that amount.

If your total debt load is minimal and there is no property to liquidate (summary), the payments will be expected for 9 months. If your debt load is larger (administrative), the timing is extended by 12 months, but only for first time bankrupts.

Should you not be someone who enjoys keeping a budget, the tracking of your income and expenses will seem like as big a task as anything you have ever done.

You sign a direct debit mandate from the agreement date, which will be adjusted after the six month review.

Behave Yourself

You will need to be a good person during the bankruptcy period. At the end of your specific term, your Trustee will apply for a discharge. If you’ve done anything foolish, finance-wise, during your term, the Trustee may seek to continue the process until he sees fit to apply again.

At the end of the term, the Trustee will total up the amounts you have paid into your fund, deduct his fees, and then share the residue among your creditors.

In most cases, the amount you pay into the fund will be swallowed up by the Trustee’s fee, so your creditors will come out with nothing at the end.

What Happens Then?

Well, in most cases, you will not be able to get back into debt for about five years. Can you imagine what that would be like? No credit cards, no overdrafts, no loans. Should you want to buy a home, you won’t even qualify for a mortgage. You will be a person without status.

In the USA

chapter-7-13-bankruptcy

The laws in the United States have similar statutes, but you will need to consult a Bankruptcy Lawyer to discover what is involved.

Conclusion

This is a very serious step, so I would advise anyone thinking about it to be very sure it is what they want to do in the end. I have known people in positions of trust to be let go from their jobs when they applied for bankruptcy. (This is especially true if you work for a financial institution.)

A Consumer Proposal could be better in the end, but you will be paying for a longer period of time (five years), hopefully on a reduced debt load. However, your status will be impinged, all the same. Just saying.

Post Script

British Bankruptcy laws in the UK work along similar lines as the Canadian laws.

Tomorrowland: Is It Happening Now?

Tomorrowland

“Is it real life, or just a fantasy?”

As luck (?) would have it, Tomorrowland, the film, was shown on television, yesterday.

George Clooney, we have noticed, likes to make a point of being in films that make a point. The point in this one is obvious, but something has changed to make it more like ‘science fact’.

The Point

There is a sequence toward the end of the film which utilizes a series of natural disasters as a warning to us to change our ways.

The imminent danger to us was ‘foretold’ in 2015. Now, here, two years later, we are seeing those dangers played out in nightly broadcasts of the news.

Floods (Water element)

Hurricanes (Air element)

Forest Fires (Fire element)

Earthquakes (Earth element)

Conclusion

As one of the characters laments in the film, these images did not change anyone’s mind about Climate Change. In fact, they welcomed it as a sign that it was the “End of the World”.

Could it be any clearer?

Seven: a Sacred Number

7 pointed faerie star

Hidden in Plain Sight

What could be more clear? We have seven days of the week in our calendar.

In the early forms of Astrology, we had seven personal planets (as an echo of the days of the week).

Now we have crop circles which feature an image similar to the one shown above.

But are we paying attention?

“Genisis” pointed this out first…

If you combine the Pentagram and the Star of David, the result is a seven pointed star, of sorts. The author David Wood found such a configuration in the landscape around Rennes-le-Château.

Here’s a small image of that configuration:

A Thousand Words

As I could definitely write a very long post, I will shorten it up with a single picture containing four images:

Constantine the Philosopher a.k.a. St Cyril

A Man of Letters

While researching for events coinciding with 862 AD (represented by my Neptune in Libra in the 10th House), I came across this little tidbit:

In 862, the brothers began the work which would give them their historical importance. That year Prince Rastislav of Great Moravia requested that Emperor Michael III and the Patriarch Photius send missionaries to evangelize his Slavic subjects. His motives in doing so were probably more political than religious. Rastislav had become king with the support of the Frankish ruler Louis the German, but subsequently sought to assert his independence from the Franks. It is a common misconception that Cyril and Methodius were the first to bring Christianity to Moravia, but the letter from Rastislav to Michael III states clearly that Rastislav’s people “had already rejected paganism and adhere to the Christian law.” Rastislav is said to have expelled missionaries of the Roman Church and instead turned to Constantinople for ecclesiastical assistance and, presumably, a degree of political support. The Emperor quickly chose to send Cyril, accompanied by his brother Methodius. The request provided a convenient opportunity to expand Byzantine influence. Their first work seems to have been the training of assistants. In 863, they began the task of translating the Bible into the language now known as Old Church Slavonic and travelled to Great Moravia to promote it. They enjoyed considerable success in this endeavour. However, they came into conflict with German ecclesiastics who opposed their efforts to create a specifically Slavic liturgy.

For the purpose of this mission, they devised the Glagolitic alphabet, the first alphabet to be used for Slavonic manuscripts. The Glagolitic alphabet was suited to match the specific features of the Slavic language. Its descendant script, the Cyrillic, is still used by many languages today.

They wrote the first Slavic Civil Code, which was used in Great Moravia. The language derived from Old Church Slavonic, known as Church Slavonic, is still used in liturgy by several Orthodox Churches and also in some Eastern Catholic churches.

This alphabet was the forerunner of the Cyrillic. (I wonder where they got that name?) Its descendant is still widely used in Eastern Europe. Talk about changing the world, through the written Word!

The fact that Constantine (later Cyril) translated the Gospels into the Slavic language is impressive enough. But to invent a written form which has stood the test of time is immense.

Neptune in Libra

The psychology of Neptune (from Encyclopedia of Astrology by Nicholas Devore):

“The Social Unrest; follow-the-trend illusive and intangible emotions, of which we know so little; entertains false hopes and indulges in tricky schemes, yet is highest in human sympathy; loves mystery; acts dictated by powerful but inexplicable motives, directed toward invisible, intangible ends; reacts to harmony, sympathy, symmetry, rhythm, poetry, and the dance, which is the poetry of motion, with a partiality for stringed instruments; also for the morbid and erotic.

“Neptune pertains to feeling, desire, emotion, imagination, aesthetics, intuition, the psychic faculties or extra-sensory perceptions. When thwarted it becomes psycho-neurotic, theatric, and susceptible to flattery, the power of suggestion, and appearances. On the merest whim it will break a bargain or go back on its word. It exhibits a high regard for uniformity yet often succeeds in enterprises that require more than the average measure of mental effort. Neptune is deemed a higher octave of Venus.”

Conclusion

I hereby claim Saint Cyril as my symbol for the position of Neptune in my birth chart.

Roland

A Legend in His Lifetime

Whenever I start to do research on an historical figure, I get the feeling that I’ve been here before. Same with Count Roland. The only thing known for sure is that he died 15 August 778. The rest is legend.

While he was vigorously pursuing the Saxon war, almost without a break, and after he had placed garrisons at selected points along the border, [Charles] marched into Spain [in 778] with as large a force as he could mount. His army passed through the Pyrenees and [Charles] received the surrender of all the towns and fortified places he encountered. He was returning [to Francia] with his army safe and intact, but high in the Pyrenees on that return trip he briefly experienced the Basques. That place is so thoroughly covered with thick forest that it is the perfect spot for an ambush. [Charles’s] army was forced by the narrow terrain to proceed in a long line and [it was at that spot], high on the mountain, that the Basques set their ambush. […] The Basques had the advantage in this skirmish because of the lightness of their weapons and the nature of the terrain, whereas the Franks were disadvantaged by the heaviness of their arms and the unevenness of the land. Eggihard, the overseer of the king’s table, Anselm, the count of the palace, and Roland, the lord of the Breton March, along with many others died in that skirmish. But this deed could not be avenged at that time, because the enemy had so dispersed after the attack that there was no indication as to where they could be found.

Echoes

ill_009_sml

When I crossed the Pyrenees for the first time in 1993, the cold air of France gave way to the stifling heat of Spain. I found it hard to breathe. But I didn’t put that sensation down to anything but the change of temperature.

Now, I can see that there was a psychic cloud hanging over the area. I had died there.

This person was a Warrior’s warrior. His exploits became the stuff of minstrel song and later, embellishments of the most fascinating details. He is even ‘glimpsed’ by Dante (in his Divine Comedy) in the Heaven of Mars. That clinches it for me: this person represents my Mars in Libra incarnation.

Some Interesting Details

The whole region, from the French side to the Spanish, is called Catalonia. The Cathars would later crop up here.

The Merovingian Dynasty were rulers of the Franks until the century before Roland’s death.

The Da Vinci Code specifically follows the trail from this region to Scotland. That trail was formulated by the authors of Holy Blood Holy Grail. These codes they discovered were ‘planted’ to prove that there was a Royal bloodline which came directly from Mary Magdalene.

Do you see a pattern here?

Conclusion

My ongoing research has given me a view that my personal role in history has had a link to Jesus Christ, and the true version of his life and times. Now, my ‘job’ is to continue telling the world what I ‘know’ in my bones. The Gnostic version is real.

Healing of the Centurion’s Servant

Centurion's servant healed

Scene from “Jesus of Nazareth” courtesy of Pinterest

Such Great Faith

The Faith of the Centurion

5 When Jesus had entered Capernaum, a centurion came to him, asking for help. 6 “Lord,” he said, “my servant lies at home paralyzed, suffering terribly.”

7 Jesus said to him, “Shall I come and heal him?”

8 The centurion replied, “Lord, I do not deserve to have you come under my roof. But just say the word, and my servant will be healed. 9 For I myself am a man under authority, with soldiers under me. I tell this one, ‘Go,’ and he goes; and that one, ‘Come,’ and he comes. I say to my servant, ‘Do this,’ and he does it.”

10 When Jesus heard this, he was amazed and said to those following him, “Truly I tell you, I have not found anyone in Israel with such great faith. 11 I say to you that many will come from the east and the west, and will take their places at the feast with Abraham, Isaac and Jacob in the kingdom of heaven. 12 But the subjects of the kingdom will be thrown outside, into the darkness, where there will be weeping and gnashing of teeth.”

13 Then Jesus said to the centurion, “Go! Let it be done just as you believed it would.” And his servant was healed at that moment. (Mathew 8:5-13)

He’s a Roman!

I can attest to the fact that there is a hidden issue with this story, one that even Wikipedia was almost too coy to mention: Homosexuality.

It was a fact of life in Roman times that soldiers had sex slaves to service their needs. It seems obvious, doesn’t it? As a Roman Army commander, you wouldn’t want the population to complain to Caesar about sexual harassment of their women. So the Army ‘servants’ would have included a young Greek Adonis or two.

At face value, the fact that he was a Roman officer should have been enough to exclude him from the working of a miracle.

But his homosexuality makes the story all the more remarkable. Jesus didn’t hold the Centurion’s sexual preferences against him.

Jesus knows how to make a point, and, boy oh boy, did he ever make a point.

Love Thy Neighbour as Thyself

I’ve spoken of this before, especially with the fact that the current issues some Christians have with the LGBTI community. But this could actually signal the Second Coming of Christ.

It also fits in with my own past life memory as the “Roman Governor”.

In the World War I setting of a “No Man’s Land” encounter with a wounded enemy soldier, I had to shoot him (at his request) to put him out of his misery. Then I realized that he was my slave from the Roman life, a man who was also my lover. “Light bulb moment.”

What goes around, comes around again.

A New Convert

The story wouldn’t be complete without an explanation. I have been trying to match my planetary positions with ‘real’ past lives. See As Above, So Below. Others are skeptical about historical figures being real, in the sense that one must have a very inflated ego to believe that one could have possibly been them.

In most cases, I’d agree, but then my understanding of Astrology is the counter to that argument: not every life is going to be significant; but some will symbolize the energy that a particular planet in a specific sign can have. I see the connection when heroes from the past are highlighted. In reality, one doesn’t actually have to be that individual: one needs only to ‘personify’ the energy in their present life.

The Centurion (unnamed) is the first Gentile in history to witness Jesus in action. He may even have been part of The Passover Plot, in return for the gift of healing that Jesus gave to his servant. The image at the foot of the Cross is a snapshot of the change in that being’s life. It is also a hint at what was to come in the future.

Did “Avatar” Open Pandora’s Box?

Avatar

Courtesy of YouTube

Or just lift the lid to take a peek?

They say what goes around, comes around again. It’s been a number of years since this film was released to the world. And now Disney World has a world of Pandora for us to visit.

When I first saw it, I was literally struck with the symbolism of the story. Here was an invading force of enterprising individuals seeking the retrieval of abundant resources to be returned to their home, under the protection of the military to keep the natives at bay. Where have we heard that story before?

Oh, right: Europeans seeking beaver pelts from the First Nations in North America. Look how that turned out.

Dances With Wolves, again?

One of the crew, using an Avatar to help navigate the planetary energies, decides to go “native”. He joins up with the Na’vi and fights the takeover of their land. This time, the hero is flying with dragons, not dancing with wolves.

From Wikipedia:

By 2154, humans have depleted Earth‘s natural resources, leading to a severe energy crisis. The Resources Development Administration (RDA for short) mines for a valuable mineral — unobtanium — on Pandora, a densely forested habitable moon orbiting the gas giant Polyphemus in the Alpha Centauri star system. Pandora, whose atmosphere is poisonous to humans, is inhabited by the Na’vi, a species of 10-foot tall (3.0 m), blue-skinned, sapient humanoids that live in harmony with nature and worship a mother goddess named Eywa.

(Just so as we’re on the same page, “Eywa” is pig-Latin for “Way”)

Alpha Centauri, eh? The Centaur was a mythical creature, the most famous being Chiron, the “Wounded Healer”. His image is that of a man and a horse fused into one body.

Achilleus_Lyra

Courtesy of Wikipedia

The fusion of the Avatar with his flying beast is a direct echo of this creature. (Nothing new under the sun…)

Space Settlements

The ‘peek’ I was suggesting in the first subtitle is that the military have been exploring other planets and building space colonies in order to prepare for a time when Earth can no longer support its inhabitants.

People like David Icke and David Wilcock (two Davids vs. a Goliath?) have been trying to warn us that this preparation has been going on under our very noses for at least 40 years. Check out this link for details. You don’t have to buy into this concept: it will happen whether or not you believe in it.

Conclusion

We are living on a planet which we are slowly killing. The ‘powers that be’ decided that they cannot solve the man-made problems, so they are looking for an escape route. Contrary to what the article stated, the ordinary folk will be left behind. Only the “Elite” (read: “Elect”) will be saved. This is a perversion of the “Rapture” concept.

Since human life is not the only way we can express our Spiritual Being, may I suggest that we will withdraw from the “Avatar” of our Earthly body, and go elsewhere?

State of the Union: Two Roman Memories

Union

I Remember Union: The Story of Mary Magdalena

From the Preface: “I REMEMBER UNION is the story of Mary Magdalena, an endearing woman who remembers her oneness with spirit and with all things. This memory guides her to the vision of peace, which she endeavors to bring to the world.”

This book was channeled, beginning in 1989. The version I have was published in 2001 (Fourth edition) by All Worlds Publishing, Putney VT. I found it in a local Goodwill shop, a week after I finished the serialization of my manuscript The Star of Bethlehem. To me, it was confirmation of something I had been holding as a secret for almost 2000 years.

There are two Romans in this memoir: one who came to Mary under cover of darkness; the other the local head of Rome’s control in the region, Pontius Pilate.

The Roman

Late that afternoon, I heard the festivities in the city below, the people becoming gayer and the noise growing louder as night approached.

Naomi was away in the town buying the food for our dinner, and so when he knocked at the door, it was I who answered.

He had removed his soldier’s cloths and wore a tunic of soft ruby color. I would not have known he was a Roman. He was handsome to me, tall and broad, with brown hair and a gentle smile which played at the corners of his eyes and lips. He smiled at me with a recognition that I felt as well, but was more hesitant to acknowledge.

He spoke first: “You are the one of Migdala, called Mary Magdalena?”

“Yes.” I waited, offering no more information.

“I have come because there is a matter we must discuss. Will you speak with me now?”

He looked past me through the door, as if making certain that I was alone so that we could speak unobserved.

“Yes, I will talk with you,” I said, moving aside as he entered my home. I covered the window by the door as a sign to Naomi that I was not alone.

He studied me openly and honestly, without pretense. I did not invite him to sit, and we stood, feeling an urgency suddenly upon us.

“I lead the Roman army, Mary,” he said suddenly. “The soldiers take their orders from me.”

A shiver went through my body. “And why are you here?” I asked, sensing the answer before he said it.

“I am here because of him.”

“Oh,” I said, sitting down. I felt a sudden chill in the air and knew the chill was from my heart.

“I thought you would know who I am,” he said to me.

“I have been watching you now for many months, hoping you would come and speak to me of the matters to which we must both attend.” He paused. “And when you did not, I decided to take matters into my own hands. You know what I must do, and we must talk. You must meet me at my place of living tonight. I cannot stay here, for your safety, as you must know.”

He gave me the direction, we set the hour, and he was gone.

The Reckoning of Pontius Pilate

“You know why I have come, Pilate?” I asked.

“Yes of course, you have come to beg for the life of the man that you love. What is his name now, oh yes, the man called Christ.”

“Pilate, let us put aside our differences so that our conversation may yield us the desired results,” I said.

“Your desired results, you mean,” he snickered.

“Pilate, there is one design and one outcome, and we both know what that outcome will be and how it will appear. You and I are servants of the people and must guide them into knowledge and truth as best we can.

“The time has come for the reckoning: the reckoning of you, me, Christ, the disciples, and the people. Our choices are important to the outcome. Your choice is important to the outcome. Will you at least accord this?” I asked him.

“Do you not understand?” he replied. “I do not care about the design. It has brought me nothing. I have made my own way. I care only for the body and the power, for this is all that will withstand the test of the people. They have long ago forgotten the truth and the way. Yes, I know of what you speak, and it is no longer real for me, for I have seen what works here, and it is not love and peace and the choice for justice.”

He became incensed, screaming at me, “It is power that assures one’s place, and I will triumph! You will see. I have power, and he does not. Of course, long after we have gone he will have power, but now, now is when the power is to be wrested from the people! Now! For now is all that matters. You will see!”

Compare and Contrast

There obviously WAS a Passover Plot! The first Roman was risking his life and reputation to set the wheels in motion for it to work. If it had been known, he would have been tried for treason.

It seems that Pontius Pilate was fully aware of the plot, but wouldn’t back down on crucifying Jesus. This act was to be his ‘greatest’ achievement. He would never be forgotten: so be careful what you ask for…

So which Roman would seem to be more like me, now, in this lifetime…? Not hard to see, is it?

The+Centurion+This+man+really+was+God%u2019s+Son!+(Mark+15 39,+NIV)

The Passover Plot

And what was that plot? To make sure that Jesus came down off that cross before he died, so that he could be revived.

“There is another matter which strikes us as strange. When we read the Fourth Gospel we are impressed by the recollections of the unnamed disciple of events at some of which he was present, notably towards the end of this Gospel, his being at the Last Supper, his securing Peter’s entry into the palace of the high priest, his presence at the cross, and his later accompaniment of Peter to the tomb. Why is there no mention of any of these things in the synoptic Gospels? If Mark reflects the reminiscences of Peter it would be natural that he should refer to them. It is difficult to avoid concluding that the omission in the synoptic tradition of all knowledge of the mysterious disciple was intentional.

“Events of a highly dramatic character, most important for the understanding of the life of Jesus, receive no explanation, though the circumstances clearly call for one. Two instances will suffice, both relating to Passion Week. The first concerns the triumphal entry of Jesus into Jerusalem when he sent two disciples forward to Bethany to obtain an ass which they would find tethered at the entrance to the village. The second event took place later the same week when Jesus and his disciples were at Bethany. In this case Jesus again sent two of his disciples (Luke says they were Peter and John son of Zebedee) to follow a man with a water-pot whom they would encounter at the gate of Jerusalem, who would lead them to the house where he would keep the Passover.

“These stories show Jesus making secret arrangements in advance with people whom obviously he trusted implicitly, plans which were so vital that he had not disclosed them even to his closest disciples. They involved signs of recognition. The two who were dispatched by Jesus were furnished with agreed passwords, in respect of the ass, ‘The Master needs him,’ and in the case of the owner of the house, ‘Which guestroom am I to have to eat the passover with my disciples?’ In the first incident the emissaries were to expect to he challenged with the words, ‘What are you up to, untying the ass?’ In the second they were to look out for a man with a water-pot. The signals were clear on both sides, and everything went according to plan.

“The stories, intriguing as they are with their cloak and dagger atmosphere, are straightforward and serve no theological purpose. We have no reason to doubt their truth. They throw important light on the behaviour of Jesus. But it would seem as if the sources did not wish to disclose why Jesus had turned to others than the Twelve, to others than Peter, James and John. Why could it not be told afterwards who was the owner of the ass at Bethany and the owner of the house at Jerusalem?”

Schonfield, Hugh. The Passover Plot: Special 40th Anniversary Edition (p. 270). Red Wheel Weiser. Kindle Edition.

Schonfield came to the conclusion that the Passover Plot failed. Jesus really did die, and the rest is history.

A Peek Into History

This book is good for getting to the reality of a relationship that quietly defies all external analysis. Jesus and Mary were in a relationship, but it wasn’t consummated.

Theirs was a spiritual union.

“I felt the enormity of the moment and what was transferred, and I gave him my feminine energy and power freely.

And the pendulum swung

female into male

and we were one.

And the most incredible revelation was that it was a part of the design.

By asking, we had received.“

Scorpio – The Scorpion

Scorpio

Courtesy of Wikipedia

The eighth sign of the zodiac

Its symbol resembles that of Virgo, but with an arrow on the tail — doubtless to represent the sting. It is symbolized by the asp or serpent, harking back to the serpent of the Garden of Eden, and indicating that the will governs or is governed by the reproductive urge. It is sometimes symbolized by the Dragon, and is frequently linked with the constellation Aquilla — the Eagle.

The Sun is in Scorpio annually from October 23 to November 22. Astrologically and astronomically it is the second thirty-degree arc after the Sun’s passing of the Fall Equinox, occupying a position along the Ecliptic from 210° to 240°.

It is the Fixed quality of the Water element: negative, nocturnal, cold, moist, watery, mute phlegmatic.

Ruler: Pluto.

Exaltation: Uranus.

Detriment: Venus.

Fall: Moon.
