So, That Leaves This Last Man Standing

Patrick Leahy (May 31, 1940)

In 2009

The extended comparison of Roman Emperors with United States Presidents leaves just one position unaccounted for: who would be the likely fourth person if history repeated itself. I’m not entirely sure Patrick Leahy is the best candidate for the job, but he’s all we have right now.

The timing of this chart is on several astrology websites, so I’ll stick with it. For once, there are no hidden agendas (meaning, no inconjuncts). But I appreciate that his Ascendant is very close to my own. Perhaps we’re spiritual brothers, both connected to Vespasian.

Leahy’s Moon is conjunct Vespasian’s ‘fatal’ South Node and his natal Moon. Hmm. And Leahy’s Mars is conjunct Vespasian’s natal North Node. And I love that Leahy’s Venus is conjunct Vespasian’s ‘fatal’ Mercury and natal Jupiter. We cannot entirely trust the timing of Vespasian’s birth, so Leahy’s Jupiter is conjunct Vespasian’s natal Uranus (and perhaps his natal Ascendant).

Leahy’s Uranus is conjunct Vespasian’s ‘fatal’ Jupiter @ 23° Libra, while Leahy’s North Node is within 7° of Vespasian’s ‘fatal’ North Node and his natal Saturn. So, yes, these two men are karmically connected, and they might even be past life/reincarnations of each other.

Hypothetical Question: What Happens If History Repeats Itself?

The Year of Four Emperors (69 AD)

It’s no exaggeration to suggest that the United States is going through a similar situation that the Roman Empire did in 69 AD. After Nero committed (assisted) suicide, four men in succession took over his job as Emperor. Since we’re looking ahead to next year’s Pluto Return for the States, the thought occurs to me that a similar sequence could take place, and with people who may have similar astrological links to those men.

The difference, of course, is that the USA is a republic, not an empire, so the position of President is not exactly the same as an Emperor. But Trump overturned the (American) apple cart by acting like one, and the world is watching how the American version of Pax Romana has come apart at the seams. (The withdrawal from Afghanistan is a case in point.)

Have you thought what might happen if Biden is somehow sidelined? Automatically, the next in line is the Vice-President, Kamala Harris. But a female President would antagonize one half of the voters while exciting the other half. Following her is the Speaker of the House, Nancy Pelosi, a person the Republicans revile. Finally, there’s Patrick Leahy, the President pro tempore of the Senate. (And this is assuming that the US government has not been overthrown.)

I’ve looked at the potential reincarnations of Galba and Otho previously, so now it’s time to think about Vitellius.

Aulus Vitellius (September 24, 15 AD – December 20, 69 AD)

What’s weird about all this reincarnational research is how I managed to skip this individual. I know I looked at him in passing, but then jumped forward to Vespasian, the ultimate successor.

I have now got two versions of this chart on my computer, both of them with randomized time. The other version has two inconjuncts, one involving the Moon and Saturn. By the passage of a morning, that inconjunct disappeared here, leaving only the other one.

Uranus Inconjunct Pluto

This aspect indicates changes in the world of the people who were born at these times, changes that were difficult to understand because they were very revolutionary but subtle in many ways.

Perhaps I should have left the Moon/Saturn inconjunct in place, but I’m also aware that no one really cares about this third of four emperors.

So, if the line of succession works in the present, this man would have reincarnated as Nancy Pelosi.

Nancy Pelosi (March 26, 1940)

Official portrait of Speaker of the House Nancy Pelosi, photographed January 11, 2019 in the Office of the Speaker in the United States Capitol.

Does it surprise you that I might have dared to compare this woman to a Roman Emperor? Nothing is written in stone, as you know, so anything is possible.

I did not choose this birth time, so I’m not aware as to its accuracy or provenance. But there is one inconjunct, this one also featuring the Moon, but this time with Jupiter instead of Saturn.

Moon Inconjunct Jupiter

This aspect indicates that you have a positive, optimistic outlook on life, and you enjoy socializing with good friends. However, there are some dangers with this aspect. First, it can be a sign that you are self-indulgent and possibly even selfish, although this is not likely to happen if you have a good, strong relationship with your mother. You have a great need to be cared for and supported, to be accepted for what you are with no strings attached. If this need is fulfilled, the positive side of this aspect will flourish. But if your mother does not support your needs fully, you will feel insecure and will look elsewhere for support and fulfillment. In this case your concern will be totally for yourself with little thought for other people’s needs.

On the other hand, if you feel emotionally secure and accepted, then you will be able to give others the support that you would otherwise have been seeking for yourself. You will help others in their times of need, share what you have with those who have less, and find great satisfaction in taking care of people and animals.

Here is a painting from the late 1800’s, depicting the fall of Vitellius in the streets of Rome.

I only wanted to show you this painting to remind you about how vicious the people can be when they turn against their leaders. (Does it remind you of January 6th?)

You might think, at first glance, that these three charts are not connected in any way: look again. Vitellius’ ‘fatal’ North Node/Neptune conjunction in Aries is conjunct Pelosi’s Jupiter (and therefore part of the inconjunct to her Moon). Her own North Node is conjunct his ‘fatal’ Saturn, and her Pluto is conjunct his ‘fatal’ Jupiter. Looking further back into the past, we see that Pelosi’s Neptune is conjunct Vitellius’ natal Part of Fortune, and his natal North Node is conjunct her Mercury. Pelosi’s Sun is in opposition to Vitellius’ natal Midheaven and her Saturn is opposite to his natal Pluto.

Therefore, if I were you, I wouldn’t write off this connection entirely.

Metaphor: Caterpillar, Cocoon and Butterfly

Rebirthing

I’ve been re-reading Bob Frissell’s book for a couple of weeks now. I had forgotten that his spiritual work was centred on Rebirthing. My wife, Susan, is presently waiting for a monarch butterfly to complete his metamorphosis. The two events are dove-tailing (as they always do).

Since the Mayans speak of the importance of staying out of fear, let’s take a moment to see why. When you are under the effect of your fears, you are in a state of contraction, you are holding on, you have locked this energy in place. This puts you in the lower three centers (chakras) and stuck in survival; the most limiting aspect of life is all that is available to you.

Rebirthing is the perfect healing tool, as it enables you to transmute your fears and limitations (your darkness) into your greater sense of well-being in ways you have never dreamed of and that will absolutely amaze you! This allows you to raise your vibratory rate so you are in harmony with Mother Earth, and in direct experience of the One Spirit.

The only way to unite with the Oneness is to discover it within. This is the only way, and in so doing you’re merging with the infinite power of the universe.

Frissell, Bob. Nothing in This Book Is True, But It’s Exactly How Things Are, 15th Anniversary Edition (Kindle Locations 2371-2377). North Atlantic Books. Kindle Edition.

The practice we are talking about here is rhythmic breaths in which “inhale” and “exhale” are connected without any pause. The emphasis is on pulling the inhale; the exhale is totally relaxed. This will facilitate the movement of energy in your body— very pure, very powerful light energy, the energy of the life force itself.

Rebirthing, however, is much more than just breathing; it is a combination of breathing energy along with consciously using your mind so that you bring the two into harmony, working in alignment with each other.

Frissell, Bob. Nothing in This Book Is True, But It’s Exactly How Things Are, 15th Anniversary Edition (Kindle Locations 2379-2383). North Atlantic Books. Kindle Edition.

Remember what I titled this blog? That is the way to imagine what is going on within you.

Bless.

Was This the Hopi “Blue Star” Prophecy Fulfillment?

Comet 17P/Holmes (October 24, 2007)

Honestly, I’m surprised we’re still here. If this comet was the coming of the Hopi “Blue Star” Kachina, then everything should have ‘ascended’ in late 2014, early 2015, seven years later.

Hopi Prophecy Fulfilled

Comet 17P/ Holmes shocked astronomers on October 24, 2007, with a spectacular eruption. In less than twenty-four hours, the seventeenth-magnitude comet brightened by a factor of nearly a million, becoming a naked-eye object in the evening sky. By mid-November the expanding comet was the largest object in the solar system— bigger even than the Sun. Since then, the comet has faded back to invisibility.

If you want to read the original (archived) report from SkyandTelescope.com, click here.

I cannot remember seeing a less inspiring chart. But before I dismiss it entirely, let’s look at its three inconjuncts, only one of which is dependent on a precise timing.

Sun Inconjunct Moon

This aspect suggests that there is a subtle conflict going on inside you that may sometimes create emotional problems. The Sun signifies your conscious personality, the way in which you act and the kinds of activities that you like to get involved in. The Moon signifies the emotional and less conscious side of you. It indicates the habits that take over when you are not acting consciously and feelings that come up from deep inside you. The inconjunct aspect between the Sun and Moon means that the Sun part of your personality is quite different from the Moon part, and it may be hard for you to relate them to each other. It is as if you are divided in two, so that whenever you have to make an important decision, especially one that involves your feelings, the different sides of your personality want to go in opposite directions. You sometimes find it difficult to decide if you like something or if you want to take part in some activity.

Moon Inconjunct Mercury

As you grow older, you will have to learn to make your feelings and your reason work together. The problem is not so much that they come into conflict with each other, but that your reason and feelings represent two very different sides of your personality. When you are calm and collected and able to reflect carefully, you make decisions in one way. But when you are emotionally involved in a situation, you are likely to make up your mind very differently, which could cause you to seem inconsistent to others and make it difficult for them to understand you.

Saturn Inconjunct Midheaven

This aspect indicates that you very much need a positive relationship with your parents, especially your father. You should not be disciplined sternly unless you are given lots of love at the same time. Otherwise, giving and receiving love from others will be a real problem for the rest of your life. Unless you are truly supported by your family and friends, you will begin to feel lonely and isolated from others and inferior to them. Also you are likely to have very serious difficulty with authority figures, because you are afraid of how they will treat you, not expecting that anyone will ever give you the loving guidance you need. You will see all authorities only as potential threats to your freedom and as sources of pain and trouble.

That last aspect, the ‘timely’ one, is symbolic of how the whole world feels now. Interesting.

Maybe the pandemic is the purifier, and the timing took a little longer than expected. Hmm.

When the Fountain Work was Finally Completed

Christ-Consciousness Grid (February 4, 1989)

Colin Bloy was a seer, of this I’m sure. His initiation of Fountain work at Brighton, in 1981, and then linking it with newly formed Fountain groups all over the world was inspired. He may have even known that he was part of a bigger movement.

From the summer of 1972 to the summer of 1974 we were moving in an entirely new direction. We began to accelerate in our evolution. Then it started to get out of hand; we began to really accelerate. This experiment was much more successful than the Sirians ever imagined. Instead of ten or so making it through, the number is now up to one and a half billion or so people who will make it through to the next level. We have obviously all been protected from the sun; we’re still here. The Sirian intervention also bought time for the synthetic Christ-consciousness grid to be completed. Without this grid, no one can make it to the next level. This grid was completed on February 4, 1989.

Normally, when a planet goes into Christ-consciousness only a very few people initially make it through to live and understand the new reality. The rest drop down to a lower level of consciousness and only over a very long period of time do the initial few pull the rest up until the whole planet reaches Christ-consciousness.

There are, as well, different levels of Christ-consciousness. The levels of Christ-consciousness in the fourth dimension are the tenth, eleventh, and twelfth overtones. It usually takes a long period of time for a planet to evolve through those stages. The first two overtones of the fourth dimension contain the astral plane, where very powerful thought forms have taken on a life of their own. The third overtone is where most people go when they die; the fourth contains faeries and tree spirits. The angelic realms are from the seventh to the ninth overtones. It isn’t until you reach the tenth overtone of the fourth dimension that you attain Christ-consciousness. It is to one of these higher overtones of the fourth dimension that we as a planet are headed.

The geometry of the grid around any planet changes as the consciousness of the planet evolves. These changes are normally very rare, usually every thousand years or so. Changes on the grid around the Earth are now happening by the minute. This has attracted the attention of beings from all parts of the galaxy. Because we are inside the system, it is difficult for us to know how fast we are moving. But for anyone outside observing us, it is obvious. What is happening here is unheard of; it has gotten to the point where we are on inter-dimensional galactic television. That’s why the two higher overtones are like a parking lot. Everyone is tuned into us to monitor this event because they know that whatever happens to us here will affect them, too. All life everywhere will be touched by this. According to Thoth, an analogy for the speed at which we are evolving is one of a newborn baby becoming an adult in fifteen minutes. That was in 1991; now the infant would mature in a matter of a few seconds! This is totally unique; there are no memory patterns for it anywhere, even on the Melchizedek level. It appears to be the most successful experiment that anyone anywhere has ever conducted. Drunvalo now suspects that this may have been in the mind of God from the very beginning.

Frissell, Bob. Nothing in This Book Is True, But It’s Exactly How Things Are, 15th Anniversary Edition (Kindle Locations 2082-2103). North Atlantic Books. Kindle Edition.

Can this grid completion be mapped star-logically? I think so.

I centred this chart on the Great Pyramid of Giza, and randomized the time. Strange result, eh?

There is one inconjunct, and we’ve seen it before:

Venus Inconjunct Ascendant

You often feel that you haven’t any right to ask much of those whom you love. You feel that you must do favors for them instead of asking for their help. For you, love is an act of service, not self-gratification. Also, through relationships with others, you try to learn more about your own and other people’s inner workings. For this reason your relationships are more deep and profound than most people’s. But they are somewhat difficult, too. Your close friends and loved ones discover that you are quite different in a close relationship than you appear at first. It is not that you are dishonest, but that you show a side of yourself to your friends that you usually keep hidden, often because you are not entirely confident in that role. You may feel unsure that others will like you or accept your affection. This is one reason why you express your love by doing nice things for people. You are trying to win them over.

However, you should realize that others will respect you if you stand up for yourself and ask for a reasonable return in a relationship. If you constantly seem to be apologizing for who and what you are, people begin to wonder if they have overlooked something that is wrong with you, and they begin to lose confidence in you. Thus you may bring about the criticism that you are afraid of. You are as good and as worthy of being loved as anyone. Be yourself with others, and many people will love you.

(Just a small reminder: as this time is randomized, it may not be the ‘real’ time of completion, therefore the inconjunct could disappear…)

The Day the Earth was Almost Wiped Out

Solar Storm (August 7, 1972)

The “seahorse flare”, an intense two-ribbon solar flare, erupting from active region McMath 11976 on 7 August 1972 as recorded by the Big Bear Solar Observatory (BBSO) (from Wikipedia)

Isn’t it amazing how myopic we humans can be? We think we are in control, but nothing could be further from the truth… Seemingly, the Sirians saved our necks in the nick of time.

The actual event happened on August 7, 1972. From our observation— and we didn’t know of course that the Sirians had intervened— it was the biggest thing that we had ever seen. Anthony R. Curtis, in his book The Space Almanac, called it “the most intense solar storm ever recorded.” According to Science News: “The early days of August saw a severe disturbance on the sun that produced four major flares between August 2 and August 7.… The ones recorded in early August were among the most major ever recorded.… The August 7 flare ran the X-ray sensors off the scale …” The solar wind, which has an average velocity of five hundred kilometers per second, or a million miles per hour, got up to two and a half million miles an hour for three days, then it dropped down to one and a half million miles an hour for thirty days. This was considered impossible, yet it happened. Accounts of the event were published in all the major scientific literature of the world and many of the major newspapers, but scientists didn’t know what it meant; all they did was publish the data. After six months, (David) Suzuki called a worldwide scientific meeting to discuss the implications of this explosion. Drunvalo left him about three months before so he doesn’t know what happened at this gathering. What he does know is that previous to the meeting— that is, from August to November 1972— there was a great amount of information published and written about this. After the meeting in June or July of 1973, there was a total worldwide blackout, just as if the great event had never happened.

Frissell, Bob. Nothing in This Book Is True, But It’s Exactly How Things Are, 15th Anniversary Edition (Kindle Locations 2033-2045). North Atlantic Books. Kindle Edition.

Sounds just about right.

As you can imagine, this solar storm would have been experienced worldwide, so (for fun) I have randomized this event for the North Pole (Alaska), just to see what could be seen, star-logically.

Uranus conjunct the Ascendant?! Jeez, eh?

And there are two inconjuncts.

But if your mother does no support your needs fully, you will feel insecure and will look elsewhere for support and fulfillment. In this case your concern will be totally for yourself with little thought for other people’s needs.

Venus Inconjunct Neptune

This can be a positive aspect if you learn to control some of its negative possibilities. You are likely to lack energy and to be rather passive. You may wait for opportunities to come to you, rather than go after them. You may not have enough energy to pursue your ambitions, or you may not have much ambition. Or you may love your comfort so much that you are unwilling to make any effort or put up with any pain that could help you grow and develop. However, if there are any indications of energy in your chart, they could overcome the passivity.

Speculation or Fact?

Depending on your sources, this could have gone either way. We were ‘doomed’ to be swallowed up by a solar flame that extended all the way to Jupiter. But then the Sirians got permission from the higher ‘powers that be’ to experiment with a Merkaba-style protection of the whole planet and everyone on it, starting from the North Pole and extending outwards to star points (UFOs) around the globe all the way down to the South Pole. Something changed that day: because of the Sirian intervention: we are now on the road to having more than a handful of individual ascending when the Earth goes into the 4th Density.

We are now destined to ALL ascend, too.

Question: “Did You Have a ‘Mystical’ Experience at About Age 5?”

The Answer Surprised Me

Image courtesy of The Magic Horoscope

You might think that the image (above) is a strange illustration for a question about a ‘mystical’ event. But as you will see, it is quite apt in one person’s experience.

In June 2019, I attended a family wedding. There I struck up a conversation with a friend of the family, as you do. When she found out I was an astrologer, she asked me to do her horoscope.

By the next day, I had sent her birth chart and analysis to her via Messenger, or so I thought. I added the question in the blog title to confirm whether the chart was accurate. She never did get the message. A year later, I resent it to a newer account in her name. She didn’t see it.

Yesterday, we caught up. The question, surprisingly, was still on my mind, but I phrased it slightly differently: “When you were five, did you have anything ‘special’ happen?” She thought for a moment and said, “No.”

A Finger of God (Yod) Pointing at Neptune @ 20° Sagittarius

Ordinarily, I wouldn’t have been so persistent, but my intuition was telling me for all this time that the 4th House placement of Neptune, with inconjuncts from the Sun and the Midheaven was significant. At the time I thought it might have been a spiritual visit from her grandmother.

Sun Inconjunct Neptune

You are very sensitive to your environment and to the people around you. On one level of your being, you feel what is going on very acutely. Unfortunately your understanding often comes in terms that are very difficult to communicate to others, because their meaning is not clear in your own mind. Your greatest danger is in being exposed to negative people who are full of anger or depression or who act very harshly toward you and undermine your self-confidence. Your self-confidence has to be boosted at every conceivable opportunity, and it would be very destructive for you to be criticized sharply, unless the person has made it very clear that he or she loves you.

Neptune Inconjunct Midheaven

You are very impressionable, in that you pick up the energies around you very quickly. Therefore it is important that you are surrounded by wholesome influences in your early years, because negative influences will weaken your self-esteem and make it much more difficult to accomplish anything when you are older. On the other hand, your impressionableness may give rise to some psychic ability, or at least a very sharp intuition when you are older.

“Do You Analyize Dreams?”

Later in the afternoon, yesterday, we were discussing the future (and whether Tarot is any assistance), when she suddenly asked this question. I said, “Yes.” So then she began to describe a recurring nightmare she had as a child. In her dream, she was walking home by way of a ditch and somehow got shot in the throat. She couldn’t yell for help, and no one had a clue where she was or what had happened to her. Then she would wake up in terror. This went of for a few years, until one day the events played out in real life. Due to her repeated nightmares, she ‘knew’ the only way to escape was via the ditch, where she hid until she could escape the threat and run as quickly as she could for home.

I asked her what age she first starting having these dreams. She said, “Four or five.”

Conclusion

There are so many elements to her story, that I hardly know where to begin. She thinks the drama may have been a replay of an event that happened in a previous life. I can see that: she basically was being warned to watch out for a certain set of circumstances which would result in her being shot. (Being forewarned is forearmed, in effect.) But every night?! Wow!

Maybe it was her guardian angel or ‘fairy godmother’ helping her get past what surely would have been the end of her earthly existence this time. That seems to play out in her chart, as the placement of Neptune at age 5 is the final ‘event’ of her life. In truth, she has no more pressing issues to contend with for the rest of her life, which is why she was wondering about the future. She feels like she’s coasting, but, at the same time, knows she’s living on bonus time.

The significance of the nightmare is that it stopped after the real life occurrence took place. Now, it’s not every day that a person can point to one circumstance in their life that changed everything for good. That’s the mystic event, and that’s the mystery.

And Here is My Favourite Non-Fiction Author…

Bob Frissell (December 31, 1943)

I’m a great believer in trying the spirit. One of the ways I do that is by drawing up a person’s horoscope. But, sometimes, the published details are sketchy. Such is the case with this man.

I grew up in Fargo, North Dakota

Bob Frissell

It wasn’t until I watched this YouTube video of a feature film about him that I found out where he was really born: Warren, Minnesota.

The only other detail I could rely upon was his birth date.

When the birth time is unknown, I always start with a randomized chart, set for the time that I first worked on it. Ordinarily, I will then zero in on some historical fact and then rectify the time. This time, I was considering sticking with the random timing of 11:01:40 am because of a spectacular Yod pointing at the Pluto/North Node conjunction on the Descendant from inconjuncts to the Sun and Moon, while, at the same time, there is a Yod pointing at Mercury (in the 12th House of the Unconscious) formed by inconjuncts from Jupiter and Saturn. To be honest, I believed both of these Yods would be active for a four-hour stretch between 8 am and 12 noon. By changing the time to 8 am I could rectify the chart to reflect a meeting he had with a client, named Richard, who also happened to be a book publisher. This is suggested by Pluto/North Node @ age 49, and the Yod effects would have been the same… so I did.

Let’s now delineate those inconjunct aspects…

Sun Inconjunct Pluto

You have a very strong will and can be quite stubborn, even when you don’t have any particular reason to be. It is as if you automatically resist any pressure to act in a particular way, even if you know it is good for you. This may arise from a fear of being controlled, helpless or manipulated by anyone else. As you get older, this fear may lead you to manipulate others so that they cannot manipulate you. It is very important to develop confidence in yourself, so that you will not behave this way very frequently.

Moon Inconjunct Pluto

You should talk about your feelings to someone you really trust, for otherwise the pressure of your emotions will build up too much. You must be made to realize that at some time everyone has those dark hidden thoughts that you think are so horrible. You are not alone, and you must learn not to blow these ideas up to be more important than they are.

You probably enjoy exploring the mysterious and probing hidden secrets. Even while you are young, you will understand human nature better than most people, but to use this ability positively, you must be reasonably calm about your feelings.

And to show how that Yod played out, read this:

What made you decide to write and publish your first book?

Even though it has been twenty-five years, in many ways it seems like only yesterday when a guy named Richard first came to me as a breathwork client. Though skeptical at first, he had an unexpected experience in that first session that resulted in twenty-nine additional weekly visits. During that time a mutual understanding and trust quickly developed between us that led to a most unexpected result.

Yes, I learned that Richard owned a publishing company, and no, I was not auditioning to write a book. In fact, I had internally decided just four years earlier when asked to co-author a book with a breathwork client—and upon learning that she was in fact suggesting that we write a book proposal that we would then use to seek a publisher—that the only way I would ever write a book was if a publisher came to me and asked me to do so. I thought I was safe; but that of course, is exactly what happened.

Prior to this fateful meeting in October 1992, for the previous twenty years I had been an active seeker; I was motivated primarily by an intense desire to heal myself of a crippling low back injury. Upon realizing that everything is a function of consciousness that can only be realized by looking inside, I dedicated myself to exploring the gap between who we think we are, and who we really are. Then I was exploring ways of taking it out of the realm of conceptual understanding and making it real in my life.

Ibid

The other Yod is implied with this excerpt, as well.

Mercury Inconjunct Jupiter

You like to think big, and you have great ambitions, but you don’t always make sure that your thinking is clear or careful. When you make any kind of plan, be careful. Don’t try to take on more than you can handle and make sure not to overlook details, for that could hurt what you are trying to do. Careful planning will help you develop disciplined habits in other areas as well. This aspect can mean that you are sloppy in your personal appearance and in your work habits.

Mercury Inconjunct Saturn

A particularly serious problem can be feeling suspicious of others, which later in life will turn into a cynical attitude about people’s behavior. True, it is good to be aware of the realities of life and not [be] over[ly] idealistic. But you shouldn’t look at life in the worst possible light. You need to be surrounded by positive and optimistic people… You will learn soon enough what to expect of the world without having your nose rubbed in its less desirable features.

Conclusion

How would you describe your books to first time readers?

I detail from a big-picture perspective, the enormous infusion of higher dimensional energy that is dramatically raising the vibratory rate of the planet and everyone on it. I also give the details of the personal transformation that we must make if we are to survive and thrive, so we can “catch the ride” into higher consciousness in a way that enables Mother Earth to reach critical mass and become lit from within. This is the story of nothing less than the birth of a new humanity, of the co-creation of Heaven on Earth.

Ibid

May I suggest that you read his first (and overnight sensational) book, Nothing in This Book is True, but It’s Exactly How Things Are? You won’t be disappointed, and you may discover some of the secrets of the Universe.

And Speaking of My Mother’s Favourite Author…

Alice A. Bailey (June 16, 1880 – December 15, 1949)

Courtesy of Wikipedia

Introduction

Alice Bailey’s birth time is uncertain, but has been stated as 7.42 am by Dane Rudhyar, one of the twentieth century’s foremost astrologers. Originally the time was said to have been given to him as 7.32 am – from Alice Bailey herself, a personal friend. Later Rudhyar rectified the time to 7.42 am. The Astrodatabank website quotes the following:

“The time was long quoted as 7:32 GMT, also by Taeger, who quotes Penfield and Rodden … reports by email from the original article by Rudhyar, that Rudhyar’s corrected chart has 11 Leo ascendant and 20 Aries MC … this is consistent with a birth time of 7:42 GMT.”

Doubt about Alice Bailey’s birth time has been generated by Bailey herself, and some astrologers have gone along with this idea, arguing for a Pisces ascendant. This has in turn influenced a recent biography of Alice Bailey, where the author incorrectly continues the Pisces rising assertion.

The Case for Leo Rising

Oh dear! Talk about walking into a minefield. Most astrology sites list the 7:42 am birth time with a C rating, while my Kepler 7.0 program suggests 7:32 am. What to do? What a to-do!

So, I decided to flip the whole chart on its head, by adopting the 7:32 as pm, and then tweaking the time slightly. That’s how I arrived at 7:48 pm. There are good reasons for this: she was visited by a stranger at age 15 (Pluto); and she moved to the United States at age 27 (Sun).

Now her birth chart is more in line with the Sagittarius ethos that I so know and love. (And maybe more in line with the Galactic Centre energy of a true revolutionary.) As it stands now, Alice Bailey has no inconjuncts, but that may be slightly contrived on my part. (BTW: if I’d left the timing at 7:32 pm, there would have been a Yod pointing at the Ascendant, with inconjuncts from Mercury and Neptune. That might have been significant for her writing.)

Twenty-four books! That’s no small achievement, especially as they were the result of channeling Master D.K. (Djwal Khul). Unfortunately, it put AAB, as she was known, on a collision course with the Theosophical Society leaders Annie Besant and C.W. Leadbetter. Such is the nature of esoteric knowledge: everyone wants to be the ‘real’ thing when it comes to ‘revealed’ truths. There are some who dare to suggest that the warnings of a New World Order in her books are being touted as a ‘master’ plan… That’s the scary part: the 10 points seem to have come into our collected morality.

Anti-Bailey propaganda?

Here is a refutation of the very idea:

“The basic goal is the freedom and the liberation of mankind, but the spiritual workers are handicapped by the fact that men themselves must make free choice and decision in order to be free; they can only be liberated when they – as individuals and later as groups – liberate themselves from the expressed thought-control of the powerful dominating groups and from the fears which these groups intentionally engender.

Freedom can never be conferred through totalitarian methods; liberation cannot come through a dictator or dictating groups…they are fighting – and rightly fighting – the totalitarian methods of cruelty, spying, murder, suppression and the lack of freedom.

What they are doing in truth is fighting the abominable methods of imposing the rule of a few evil and ambitious men upon the masses…They are fighting the technique of exploiting the ignorant through misinformation, organized lying and limited education. They are fighting against the sealing up of nations within the confines of their own territory, against the police state, the lack of free enterprise and the reduction of men and women to automatons. This is the true imprisonment of the human spirit.”

(The Rays and the Initiations, p.745)

You can see how contentious this stuff can be. So, even some spiritual warnings from a ascended master get blown up into a 10-point plan to change the world. 20/20 hindsight.

The Final Word

Amen.

Meet the Ascended Master who Inspired the Roerich’s “Agni Yoga”

Master Morya

I am a fan of Madame Blavatsky‘s writings, so it is interesting to see the connections I might have with her Master Morya, in particular, Nicholas and Helena Roerich’s chosen path:

Leaves of Morya’s Garden I (The Call) is the first book from the Agni Yoga Series which is composed of fourteen books. In them is found a synthesis of ancient Eastern beliefs and modern Western thought and a bridge between the spiritual and the scientific. Unlike previous yogas, Agni Yoga is a path not of physical disciplines, meditation, or asceticism—but of practice in daily life. It is the yoga of fiery energy, of consciousness, of responsible, directed thought. It teaches that the evolution of the planetary consciousness is a pressing necessity and that, through individual striving, it is an attainable aspiration for mankind. It affirms the existence of the Hierarchy of Light and the center of the Heart as the link with the Hierarchy and with the far-off worlds. Though not systematized in an ordinary sense, Agni Yoga is a Teaching that helps the discerning student to discover moral and spiritual guide-posts by which to learn to govern his or her life and thus contribute to the Common Good. For this reason Agni Yoga has been called a “living ethics.”

As you know, I believe in reincarnation, so the next quote from Wikipedia is of interest to me:

“Morya’s earliest notable claimed incarnation is recorded by Annie Besant and C.W. Leadbeater (from, the source states, their research into the “akashic records” at the Theosophical Society headquarters in Adyar (Tamil Nadu), India conducted in the summer of 1910) as having been the Emperor of Atlantis in 220,000 BC, ruling from his palace in the capital city, the City of the Golden Gates.

“According to the Ascended Masters teachings, some of the later incarnations that Morya is said to have had include:

Well, isn’t that special?! Only one niggle: I thought Morya withdrew from incarnation (ascended) in 1898?

Master Morya as King Arthur, the once and future king

The Theosophical Society has much to be proud of, especially their bringing knowledge of the ascended masters to people of the West. But I’m wondering if there isn’t something trying to undermine that knowledge by muddying up the spiritual waters, as it were. Like this one.

We are a gullible lot, so anything foreign sounding gets our spiritual attention. But we have to be discerning. My mother read (almost) all the Alice Bailey books. I had some, too, but I found them to be difficult to digest. I wonder what I’d think of them now that 40 years have past.

In the meantime, I should like to point out a very interesting thing: Morya’s signature…

Me…
