This event was referenced by Shirley MacLaine in her book, Sage-ing While Age-ing. Her description had one small error, though: she said it was on April 24, 1981. I’ll bet her notes wrote a 7 with a crossed line, like most Europeans do. That makes it look like a 4.
“There was an almost mythical drama occurring on our plane of reality that was an evolution of a species joining, a repopulation of the Earth that would survive the environmental collapse we insisted on being blind to. A paradigm shift in consciousness would occur whether we realized it or not, only to announce the end of the exclusively empirical, rationalistic way of experiencing reality. We would then live in a universe different from the one we had been taught to believe in.
“The United States leads in sheer numbers of UFO abductions, followed by England and Brazil, Argentina, Australia, Bolivia, Canada, Chile, Finland, France, Poland, South Africa, the Soviet Union, Spain, Uruguay, and West Germany (not necessarily in that order). China boasts the largest number of people who witnessed a single . . . on April 24, 1981, one million Chinese a spiral-shaped UFO at the same time. There were no follow-up questions from the government or their media. Most of the UFO sightings are cloaked in secrecy or presented with disinformation.”
The Chart
I’m being led bit by bit to a spiritual truth. Can a mass sighting of a UFO be considered the Second Coming of Christ? I’m at a loss as to how this could not have been understood before. We keep waiting for a future event, when it may have already happened to China in 1981. Let me explain why…
The ‘event’ chart above has an ‘exact’ Jupiter-Saturn conjunction. It’s the first time I’ve noticed this aspect that echoes the Star of Bethlehem birth chart of Jesus. They are at his birth Ascendant of 5º Libra. And they are both inconjunct the Moon. This could be significant. The 6 B.C. event was ‘recognized’ as his star rising in the East. And now his ascending ‘light’ is seen in the sky, at night, in the Far East. See what I mean by an echo.
Looking at the two charts together, Jesus’ Jupiter/Saturn conjunction is within 6 degrees of the ‘event’ Ascendant @ 23º Pisces. Jesus’ Venus is conjunct the ‘event’ Uranus; Jesus’ Mercury is conjunct the ‘event’ South Node; Jesus’ Neptune is opposite the ‘event’ Moon; and Jesus’ Moon is conjunct the ‘event’ Mercury.
This is not an “accident”: this is a Cosmic cycle coming around again…
Two months later, Fountain International was instituted by Colin Bloy. It all fits.
I wrote the beginnings of a screenplay in the late 70’s. It was a cross between Star Wars and Battlestar Galactica. I called it “Raelity”. The story was a homage to the information that Yahweh provided for Rael about what happened to Adam and Eve and the Garden of Eden.
The two main characters were Jazzy and Hazy, space visitors watching over humanity. I based them on Semjaza and Azazel who were written about in the Book of Enoch.
So you can imagine my surprise to read the following (longish) passage in Shirley MacLaine’s Sage-ing While Age-ing:

“Billy had contacts with a Pleiadian woman called Semjase. She was quite beautiful, blond, had a nice body, and looked like a human. She told stories of how her forefathers were our forefathers. She said she and her celestial race felt duty-bound to the citizens of Earth. She said they were far from being perfect and are always evolving, just as we are. She said they were nether superior, superhuman, nor missionaries. She said humans would regard them as gods if they appeared to more than a few. Such a thing had happened in the past as recorded in the Bible: ‘The Gods walked among us’; ‘The sons of Gods found the daughters of men fair.’ And they didn’t want to risk it again.
“Semjase said that her people had experienced the same severe problems and monumental decisions facing us, approximately thirty centuries ago. They have since evolved in knowledge, social structure, science, and technology with the help of more-advanced beings than themselves. Their purpose now is focused upon creating an awareness that other intelligent life exists in the universe, both good and bad by our standards, human and non-human in form.
“She said that several times they have tried to establish terrestrial contact with humans but found them not to be sufficiently willing or loyal. Still others were afraid of other humans and the contact went unreported because they were sure they would be considered either liars or mad.
“She said some intelligence organizations were busy studying their spacecraft, but did not always have available authentic photographs. Some were outright falsifications. She said they have learned all Earth languages and have perfected mental telepathy. She said they do not reach for the end to the universe because it doesn’t exist, and that a single second in the ‘timeless’ amounts to many millions of years in normal space. That was the reason why highly evolved spiritual beings could live for hundreds of years.
“The Pleiadians call us their younger brothers and say that if we cannot solve our problems brought on by the imbalance of our technological advances and our ideological and religious differences, we will likely not be as fortunate as they, because we presently have no escape routes and are not prepared for this dilemma. They said man cannot reach the outer expanses of space until he achieves a hyperspace velocity. Then nonspace and nontime are reduced to almost nothing. Only then can man accomplish the light-years of our calculations.
“She said many space travelers have visited our planet on many occasions (108 different civilizations at last count), coming from very distant systems. Encounters with the general public are not in their best interests at this time. They select individuals and monitor their thought frequencies and physical reactions over many years until one has been accepted, based on their standards and criteria. Then they draw them telepathically into remote locations for direct contact.
“She said they don’t measure time by our standards. They measure time by events. Human events on our Earth help them measure our evolutionary pattern and alert them to our progress. She said major events and the critical nature of these events are preprogrammed and can be altered only by a mass change of consciousness and awareness. But mankind does control its own destiny by the free will of effecting a mass consciousness change, which they would love to see. However, the Pleiadians and other ‘Beings of Light’ do not see humanity taking control of our destiny in a positive way. They fear that we are rushing headlong to our own destruction and are bent on destroying all forms of life on this planet as well as critical life-support systems. At this stage in our evolution, they and other star beings are deeply saddened by this, as they consider us their younger brothers, separated only by a different time and a different space.
“They travel at speeds many times the speed of light and can make it from their Pleiadian star system to Earth in seven hours, with the help of sublight speeds for atmospheric travel and hyperspace drive systems for travel at many times the speed of light. They said our scientists were working on a ‘tachyon‘ system whose principles are the same.
“She said that God is of creation and we can’t separate God from the creation because God itself is part of it, with all the rest of the ‘gods’ who coexist with it in various states of being. She said that by creative thinking man acquires knowledge and wisdom and a sense of unlimited strength, which unbinds him from the limitations of convention and dogma. When the universal spirit manifests itself in the human being, then and only then can we reach the destination of our existence. She went on to say that they do not come on behalf of a god to bring to the world the long-awaited peace. They do not come on behalf of anyone, including themselves, since creation confers no obligation on them. Creation is a law unto itself, and every form of life must conform with it and become a part of it. They are spiritual beings who want to help us see what creation’s conformity is. She said they had no authority to interfere by force with terrestrial concerns.
“For the present, she said the Earth human holds the weight of his destiny on his own shoulders. However, should a time arise when they would find it necessary to involve themselves in certain matters pertaining to Earth, it would be done to prevent an aberration or possible cataclysm that would affect the depths of cosmic space beyond the conscious thoughts of the Earth human.
“She said that thought transmission was the purest form of communication since the conversation could not be manipulated into something it is not. She said a human could deliver himself from all ignorance if he or she generated the will to seek the truth. She said enemies and attackers contribute to the growth of a spiritually developing person, so we must not see enemies as enemies: They are teachers. She said evolution is achieved only through spiritual developments and the understanding that we are all one.
“She said that when a being is happy, luck appears everywhere in his or her life because luck is a self-created state and come from within the individual. It is a quality of the inner being and an inseparable spark of the spirit, which contains infinite force in its existence. She said Love is the instrument with which one may spread the eternal force that can never be extinguished, which overcomes death, and spreads light, which embodies the poise of wisdom, peace, and all that exceeds understanding.
“She said wisdom is the mark of a human who has recognized the existence of his spirit and works with it according to the creational laws. One cannot clothe love in words, because love is the same as bliss, a state without a place. It is imperishable and cannot be shaped or manipulated into what it is not.
“She said a wonder is merely the spiritual force exercising perfection, but all too often the human conceals a wonder behind a veil of mystery because he lacks any possible logical explanation. Something that has not been previously experienced is always considered a great mystery.
“She said if we genuinely pooled all of our intelligence and imagination toward peace, we could achieve their level of evolvement in a few hundred years.”

Now, think about our present pandemic as a preprogrammed event and see what it means to humanity. Will we evolve or will we collapse? It’s up to ‘all of us’!
P.S. [To be sure, Billy Meier is an ‘unreliable’ contactee for our Space Brothers, but sometimes the message is more important than the messenger. My criteria are: Does this ‘feel’ right? Is it just ticking my personal boxes, or everyone’s? Can I trust the ‘source’?]
It might be a bit premature to ask this question, but it seems pertinent to the present pandemic. The question was prompted by a comment my son-in-law made to my wife, last night, about the fact that capitalism is dead. Hmmm.
Trust a Labour supporter of Jeremy Corbyn to suggest such a thing.
Politics aside, there might be some truth to the concept.
When you look at how different countries have responded to, and helped contain, the novel coronavirus, it is obvious that some systems of government are better suited to managing a crisis than others.
And now the western nations are having to throw huge amounts of money at the situation to help slow the pandemic. As Susan said, people who have paid taxes for their whole lives are now being helped by their government. It’s almost like they paid into an insurance fund. This is a first.
Usually ONLY the rich get bailed out when a recession happens. “Too Big To Fail” is their motto. But this time, they don’t have the ‘little people’ propping them up: they’ve all been sent home to ‘shelter in place’ during the coming economic storm.
There is an old childhood rhyme about careers that is coming back to haunt us:
I’m visiting this historical event because it created a state of panic in the US government at the time. However, Life magazine may have precipitated the flap with a report in its April 7, 1952 edition.
Shirley MacLaine remembers it well:
“It was a Saturday night, July 19, 1952 (I know because I recorded it in my diary). A pilot reported seeing UFOs, two local Air Force bases picked up UFOs, and two Air Force F-94 jets streaked over Washington in hot pursuit. The next morning [it was actually the Monday after the following weekend] the banner headline in The Washington Post was SAUCER OUTRAN JET, PILOT REVEALS. The New York Daily News: JETS CHASE D.C. SKY GHOSTS. The Washington Daily News: AERIAL WHATZITS BUZZ WASHINGTON D.C. AGAIN.
“Indeed, a week later, more UFOs buzzed the White House and the Capitol, knocking the Korean War and the presidential campaign off the front pages. Life magazine did a cover story called ‘There is a Case for interplanetary Saucers. Have We Visitors from Outer Space?’ It reviewed ten recent UFO sightings and concluded they could not be written off as hallucinations, hoaxes, or earthly aircraft. An unnamed Air Force intelligence officer was quoted saying, ‘The higher you go in the Air Force, the more seriously they take the flying saucers.’ ‘Who or what is aboard?’ ‘Where do they come from?’ ‘Why are they here?’ ‘What are the intentions of the beings who control them?’
“There had been lots of publicity since several other sightings had occurred, but the Life article was the first time a mainstream magazine had given credence to the theory that UFOs might really be alien spacecraft. The Life story was big news and covered in more than 350 newspapers across the country. President Truman watched what was happening. The number of UFO sighting reports to the Air Force went from 23 a month to 82, to 148. The air controllers watched the UFOs flit across their screens, then disappear.”

Venus Inconjunct Midheaven
You are very likely to feel that there is a conflict between what you ought to do in a particular situation and what would be acceptable to the people around you. … Later in life, you may see your job, career or profession as a part of your life that is quite separate from your personal relationships with loved ones.
Mars Inconjunct Ascendant
One of the more difficult sides of this aspect is that you must learn to understand whether or not someone has violated your rights. You may think that this is the case even when it isn’t. Learn to discriminate.
Jupiter Inconjunct Naptune
Your idealism can be the source of much creative imagination, leading to profound insights and realizations, but only if you remain connected with the actual day-to-day universe in which the rest of the human race lives.
When I put these three descriptions together, I get the feeling that the pilot was ‘mistaken’ in his sighting of a UFO. What he may have seen was an experimental plane.
The Photograph
One of the purported ‘proofs’ for the Washington flap was shown to be refracted light, again. (I’ve seen other photos like this one, demonstrating the ‘lens flare’ effect.)
Why people can get so easily fooled by lights in the sky, I know not. But once a thought gets into a person’s mind, it can be rather difficult to think of anything else. That’s Life.
With the world wide weirdness going on around us every day, it just seems logical that there is a spiritual point to be made about it.
In fact, even the main stream media have been hinting that this coronavirus might be apocalyptic in nature. And then, just as vocally, Bible scholars are saying that it’s too early, because they’ve studied the scriptures and they know the timing isn’t right.
And before all this started a family in the States started dying and disappearing. Their focus was on an event that is supposed to happen on July 22, 2020.
So, last night, I’m pondering all this, and asking for spiritual direction: the answer was that I already had ‘proof’. Really?!
And then it dawned on me: I have Jesus’ birth chart from my Star of Bethlehem series of posts. All I needed to do was compare that with the chart for His second coming.
There is one Finger of God, and it’s pointing at the Midheaven of July’s chart, formed by inconjuncts to Jesus’ natal Sun and Saturn. That’s seems appropriate somehow.
But Jesus’ natal Neptune position of 7º Scorpio is exactly conjunct July’s Ascendant. Because the timing for July’s event was randomized, I have no idea how accurate it is.
It occurred to me during the writing of Shirley MacLaine’s astrology post that the conflict between Debra Winger and herself may have had its roots in the past. It did not seem out of the realms of possibility that they may have had a mother/daughter relationship before. So, I decided to look at their charts together.
Debra Winger
First of all, Debra has a couple of inconjuncts, too. The double Sun inconjunct Neptune/Ascendant makes her the consummate actress. Couple that with a Mercury inconjunct Saturn and the effect is one of a person trying to break through whatever controlling factors are confining them.
The controlling factor of a mother-figure perhaps?
Yes, I thought so: Debra’s Moon is exactly conjunct Shirley’s Venus. This is a good thing.
Kindness, warmth, and consideration for each other are very strong. You share feelings, your pasts and family roots, personal tastes, and interests openly with each other and you understand and appreciate each other very well. This relationship grows into a close friendship. (Kepler 7.0)
If they hadn’t been competing for the Best Actress Oscar, this may have come true.
From a strictly human level, the world is going through its worse case scenario since the mid-1950’s. People are dying out there, and no one has a ‘magic bullet’ to make it all go away. Was this the intention of COVID-19? Perhaps…
From the Earth’s point-of-view, this crisis is providing a pause from environmental issues and, more importantly, man’s contribution to air pollution. This is the silver lining in the clouds hanging over these dark times.
And people are being advised to self-isolate, even if they don’t have symptoms. Seniors, in particular, are being told to protect themselves from the spread of the coronavirus, especially if they have any underlying health issues. My wife and I qualify for this advice. And we’ve been doing so, for the past week.
This has allowed plenty of time for self-reflection.
And re-reading a lot of spiritual books.
To Decide What, Exactly?
When a person has been following the spiritual path for almost the whole of one’s life, this crisis point seems almost redundant. I know it is for me. I don’t have to choose between living or dying because I do both, every day, anyway.
But, if I’d been focused on a materialistic life, I would be questioning all that now.
So, it seems to me, the choice is between continuing to live the same old, same old, or to change my awareness to the ‘other’ realms, because there really is more to this world than just what appears to our five senses. That’s why most people view COVID-19 as an ‘invisible’ killer. It’s waking us up to the idea that not everything is obvious, and, in fact, may be completely hidden from our consciousness: how it spreads, in particular.
Conclusion
When I watch TV shows at the moment, I cannot help but notice how touch is so much of our daily routine: we shake hands with friends and neighbours; we hug and kiss family members; we talk to perfect strangers. Is this all going to stop? Are we really going to start living ‘virtual’ lives?
I hope not.
Say a little prayer, with all your heart, for the inhabitants of the whole world.
The time has come to see that there really is no “us and them”.
We are ALL in this together! And we are all connected!

First Encounter with her Spirit Guide
As we saw with yesterday’s post about Sylvia Browne, Francine (her spirit guide) had been her companion for her whole life. This seems to be true for Shirley, too.
“I had never been a religious person. I had gone to church a few times, and I think it said ‘Baptist’ on my birth certificate. But at an early age, I was aware of another dimension. It was invisible, but real to me. I had dreams of being guided from another place. I knew there was another, larger truth than what I had been taught.
“When I was ten, I asked for a telescope for Christmas — a telescope and a gold cross on a chain. I used to sit out on the lawn, gaze through that telescope, and ponder on life out there, What was happening on those other stars? Were there star people who gazed down on me? I wanted to know them, feel them, ask them questions. There was never any doubt in my mind that they were there. Maybe one of them was the angel on my shoulder.
“The gold cross on a chain (which I still have and treasure) was with me when I went to New York. One day I felt it missing from my neck. It was gone. At that moment I heard a voice in my head say, ‘Southeast corner of Fifty-seventh Street and Seventh Avenue.’ A voice? In my head? I took the bus to that location, got off, and there, gleaming in the sunlight, was the cross. ‘What’s going on here?’ I thought. ‘What…or who…is talking to me?'” (page 11)
Ms. MacLaine credits her ‘angel on her shoulder’ for the continuing luck that she had in show business.
Birth Chart
I cannot attest to the birth time of this chart, but according to most astrological sites, it’s accurate, At first glance, her ‘angel on her shoulder’ is probably Neptune, conjunct her Moon. But that Sun conjunct Mars link is nothing to sneer at, either. And because these four planets are tied together in a trine, the best of them is accented.
So what about the Finger of God (Yod) pointing at Virgo Rising?
Mars Inconjunct Ascendant
The difficulty with this aspect is to find a balance between getting what you want in life and getting along with others. More than most people, you will have to learn the necessity of compromising to get along with people, especially because you often seem more aggressive than you are. While you are young, the need to compromise may be frustrating, because youth is a time when your own needs seem especially urgent and demanding. At times you may feel that nothing is going your way, that you continually have to give in to others and put your own wishes aside. However, it is not really this bad. You do not actually have to compromise any more than anyone else, but you are more reluctant to do so.
Learn to work for the good of others by making their objectives your objectives, whenever possible. This aspect can signify the ability to accomplish a great deal, as long as you do not spend all your time and energy feeling angry or resentful about seemingly undeserved defeats. When you have a real goal to work toward that you can share with others, you will be able to attain that goal.
I looked at Shirley’s only Oscar win, for Terms of Endearment. It seemed a very stressful shoot, with her co-star Debra Winger being in a conflict with her.
‘In her autobiography “My Lucky Stars” Shirley MacLaine re-enacted some of the very combative and hostile moments between her and Debra on the set: “The result was a bracingly complex mother-daughter bond onscreen, if not a pleasant set.” “We knew what we were doing a lot of the time, sparring back and forth,” Winger said. “It was a very gritty way of working. People at Paramount thought we were crazy.” MacLaine didn’t appreciate Winger’s method. In her 1995 autobiography, “My Lucky Stars”, she wrote that her demanding costar yelled at her to “get over here,” when it was time to hit her marks on set. “‘I heard you,’ I said. ‘I know marks when I see them,'” MacLaine wrote in her book. “‘Good,’ [Winger] said. ‘How’s this for a mark?’ She turned around, walked away from me, lifted her skirt slightly, looked over her shoulder, bent over, and farted in my face.” “I can’t deny that we fought,” Winger told the New York Times in 1986. “We’re not having lunch together today. We challenged ourselves, and when we got tired of challenging ourselves, we challenged each other. But I think there was always a respect between the two of us.”‘ (From IMDb)
Uranus Inconjunct Ascendant
Your need for freedom may interfere with your close relationships. When you are with others, even those you like, you feel very restless but you can’t get up and leave because you want to be with them. This is typical of the ambiguity that comes with this transit. Certainly, the more others try to restrict your freedom of movement, the more you try to get away.
The restless energies of this aspect should be given some kind of release, because otherwise they can turn inward to create the kind of rash and compulsive actions that lead to accidents. If you have accidents, it is not because you are unlucky, but because you are not careful at critical times. Learn to avoid any kind of dangerous activity when you are nervous, upset or feel that your energies are scattered.
Shirley has had a great many adventures in this life. What prevented her from crashing and burning was her relaxed attitude about them, and her level of ‘trust’.
“When I was younger, I innocently trusted nearly everyone and everything. I think I still do. I’m proud that I haven’t become jaded or cynical. Instead, I’ve become a more sophisticated questioner. Given some of my traveling antics, I don’t know how I survived. I was caught in a coup d’etat in the Himalayas (Bhutan). I got smuggled illegally into Leningrad University in the Soviet Union and had my passport stolen. I lived with the Masai in East Africa and birthed a few babies inside of a menyatta (village) who were named after me. I took a women’s delegation to Communist China (before any other foreigners were admitted) and promptly, along with everyone else, got pneumonia. I traveled alone across the United States and took up with an Indian medicine man in Arizona, who taught me the ways of the Great Spirit while driving around in an old Dodge with $50,000 worth of turquoise jewelry he tried to sell me. Once after a trip through Romania and Czechoslovakia, I came back to Los Angels but never returned to my house. I turned right around, went back to the airport, and flew to Mexico. I never wanted to stay in one place except to make a movie. In fact, I canceled two movies in order to trek the Santiago de Compostela Camino alone for a month, while my agent back home wondered if I’d ever work again. I went to India for a week and stayed for a month and a half. The wanderlust was an elixir for me. I always went alone and splashed up against totally foreign environments. I learned about myself. In North Africa I studied the Koran outside of mosques with friends I met. In India I studied the Bhagavad Gita while wondering if I had lived there before. Always I was in the search for this ‘other’ truth, this ‘other’ dimension I knew was there. Perhaps in the older, ancient cultures of foreign lands I could find a hint of something besides stardom, success, materialism, and the action of Hollywood and America. In Brazil, I had a friend with a private plane who took me to many of the psychic surgeons and healers in the Amazon. I saw that they were working with the ‘other’ dimensions. I saw them take out human eyes to restore sight to a blind woman. One psychic surgeon removed a human heart, fixed the four-part bypass, restored it to the man’s cheat, and with ‘energy’ closed the wound without stitches.
“I went to Machu Picchu in Peru with a man who said he had had a love affair with an extraterrestrial. He said he was still being guided by her and could call on that guidance anytime. He proceeded to do just that. The Peruvian roads are steep, narrow, and dangerous. He took his hands off the wheel, closed his eyes and the car was ‘driven.’ I don’t know by what. People don’t believe me when I tell them this story. They suspect a trick of some kind, but I saw none. What was even more shocking than the invisibly driven was the fact that it was okay with me. I trusted that what he said was true. I believe now that I never got in serious trouble or a life-threatening situation because I trusted whoever I was with. Even if some had been life-threatening, I chose to regard them as adventures. Why did I do that? Why wasn’t I more left-brained suspicious about so many events? Was I totally gullible? If so, why wasn’t I ever really hurt or seriously threatened? Was there really an angel on my shoulder from the beginning? And was the real lesson in life to trust that each of us has one or maybe more angels and guides? Was I talking about religion here, or was I talking about the ‘other’? Real spirituality did not occur to me until I was forty years old.” (pages 15-16)

Saturn Inconjunct Ascendant
With this aspect you probably have a rather serious attitude toward life and other people. It may be quite difficult for you to simply go out and have a good time. You want to be serious and to spend all your time performing significant tasks. This attitude may have developed because you were discouraged from enjoying yourself when you were younger. You may have been made to feel that only work is important, that play serves no useful purpose. This is not true, however, because playing has a positive and useful function in the development of the adult mind and body. Not only does it serve to release tensions, but it also actually helps train you in social and physical skills that will be useful in any work you do later.
You need to be encouraged to believe in yourself and to recognize your personal strength. You have to be helped to realize that you as an individual are worth a lot and that you need to get some satisfaction from life as much as the next person does.
It seems that her parents did a very good job in helping Shirley realize her dreams.
“Neither of them ridiculed my questions, my expanding beliefs, or my tendency to expound on such things in public. They used to say, ‘Well, it could all be true.’
“Daddy told me he secretly always wanted to run away and join the circus. He was a good musician who played the violin, but turned down a scholarship in Europe because he didn’t want to study hard to become a professional musician only to end up playing in the pit of a Broadway musical eight times a week. Hence, later on, he became a real estate salesman. I think I’m good with the value of real estate because of him. My agent used to say that because of my investments in real estate, I have lived rent-free my whole life.
“Mother was an artist, an actress, and loved to read poetry. Her mother was the Dean of Women at Acadia University in Wolfville, Nova Scotia, Canada. And Mother’s father was a brain surgeon (one of the best in Canada, I’m told) and as I found out later, going through the attic after they both had passed on, her father was a thirty-three-degree Mason! I found newspaper articles that she had saved attesting to that fact, but she never told me herself. Maybe she didn’t even know.
“She did tell me, though, that she was at her father’s side when he died (she was seventeen), and at his passing he said to her, ‘Oh, it’s sooo beautiful. Don’t be sorry, it’s incredibly beautiful.’ So I suppose I got my spiritual and metaphysical leanings from both my parents.” (page 5)

This can be a positive aspect if you learn to control some of its negative possibilities. You are likely to lack energy and to be rather passive. You may wait for opportunities to come to you, rather than go after them. You may not have enough energy to pursue your ambitions, or you may not have much ambition. Or you may love your comfort so much that you are unwilling to make any effort or put up with any pain that could help you grow and develop. However, if there are any indications of energy in your chart, they should overcome the passivity.
On the plus side, you need love and affection, and you can usually be very warm and affectionate as well. However, it very important that you choose your close friends carefully, because you may attract people who are difficult to get along with, who order you around or act as if they are better than you. Avoid such people, for they will do you no good.
“As I look back over my life, as my mind wanders freely over how I’ve lived and loved and protested and questioned, I realize that aging well isn’t about the search for happiness, but more about quietly feeling content with what I’ve experienced. Loving without caring too much, you might say. And more than anything, I’ve come to appreciate the value of conflict. Everything isn’t always meant to be light and love. Sylvia Browne has been in the news lately. In one of her books, End of Days, she foretold of a respiratory virus in 2020. That was in 2008. Some people are incredulous about this.
This book, from 2005, gives a totally inner look at an otherworldly situation: spirit guidance. Most of us have experienced this first-hand, but for those of a skeptical frame of mind, the information contained herein is useful as a primer for spirituality.
An Excerpt (from the back cover)
“It’s hard to say that a day in the life of a spirit guide is difficult, because we don’t have days, seasons, or time. We don’t have to sleep or eat or drink, yet we do have a body that’s more organically and molecularly solid than any earthly body is. We’re also all what you’d deem to be 30 years of age. No matter when we pass, we all become 30 very quickly when we reach the Other Side. When Sylvia asked me why this is, I said, ‘Because it is and always has been.’ Thirty seems to be the point of primary youth and maturity.
“By the way, while we’re talking about physical characteristics, no one on the Other Side has any deformities, and everyone has all their organs in perfectly healthy working condition — and there’s no depression, vengeance, anger, or jealousy. Even though we keep our basic personalities over here, it’s really the best of us — that is, without the human aggravations that cause our failings. Everyone has distinct looks, in all colors and sizes, but we’re all beautiful and recognizable to each soul. None of This is News
If, like me, you read a wide selection of books about the spirit world, you come away with the overall view that this level, just up from ours in the astral plane, is very much similar, but definitely different. John Edward’s Crossing Over; Peter Richelieu’s A Soul’s Journey; Edgar Cayce’s Story of Jesus by Jeffrey Furst all say similar things. But do we listen, do we believe? Mostly, no, in my experience.
(Page 58) Our guides always have our best interests at heart. In fact, every guide has been to visit every galaxy and gain information on how they handle such and such in their world that could relate to a problem we’re facing. This gives spirit guides a fresh view of a problem and some advice on how to handle it. Francine has told me that very little is generated from these trips except experience because, as she told me when I was a young girl, this planet is the insane asylum of the universe — and the longer I live here, the more I just know that’s true.
(Page 62) Keep in mind that we have five exit points, times when we can get out of life through an accident, a near-death experience, and so forth. I can’t tell you how many times I’ve seen or been told that our guides deflect these, but most of them wait for the last exit point.
(Page 95) While the trance experience is certainly exciting and fun for those who witness it, it’s neither for me. First of all, I feel like everyone is going to a party, but I have to go to bed. Also, the process is like falling into a deep well with no sound, much like losing consciousness. I’m told that I go to the Other Side and sit (gee, that sounds like fun), but I don’t remember anything that happens while I’m in a trance state. When I come out, I’m dizzy and disoriented, but I’ve also gone into trance with an upset stomach, a crunching headache, and a fever of 102 degrees and come out feeling great…so there’s a great benefit as well. It’s as if Francine leaves a healing essence as a thank you for the use of my body.*
*This description is similar to how Jane Roberts describes when Seth takes over her body.
(Page 106) [Francine speaking:]We are the ones who petition Mother and Father God, the Council and the angels when things get too rough for our charges. We don’t always win, but we have been able to soften blows and even help with miracles and intervene moderately in the chart to help keep them on track. Even if people don’t hear our voices, they get feelings, premonitions, hunches…sure, some of them come from God, but so many times we are the conduit by which messages come through.
(Page 145) [Afterword] When I began to write the new section for this book, I had feelings of elation and even a king of “homesick sadness,” like a long-forgotten memory that stirs in your soul and brings back a morphic resonance of what was, and will be again. I felt somewhat the same way when I was writing The Other Side and Back and the Journey of the Soul series.
Yet this had a different flavor, like I was scanning my life with an old friend. You see, I know Francine so well, but I also get many revelations hearing about her days with me. I also began to have a renewed appreciation for her. Even though she didn’t complain, I could feel the pathos and the humor and even the helplessness she felt at times. After all, as she states, spirit guides have to become more humanized to understand us. So even though they’re on the Other Side, a lot of the bliss is taken away when you’re a guide or they wouldn’t be able to care about us.
Conclusion
I once wrote about a process called the Inner Guide Meditation, devised by Edwin Steinbrecher. I have since deleted the post because it attracted so many advertising bots that I got tired of having to delete ten to twelve comment posts a day. I suspect the ‘powers that be’ didn’t want anyone to benefit from my experience. I have since reposted it here.
Now, I’m pleased to say that Sylvia Browne’s book has a CD included that takes you through the process, too. If for no other reason, I suggest this alone is worth the price.
