Quantum Leaps into the Unknown

Quantum Leap (1989 – 1993)

I think most of us in the West can remember this television series. I know I do.

What brought it to mind, this morning, was the dream I had last night. In my dream, I was working in a very busy construction company office (something that I know a lot about) and I found myself puzzling over some invoices that needed costing codes. As this wasn’t my regular job (I think I was substituting for another), I was having some difficulty getting the work done. My supervisor noticed. Her instruction was to keep at it until the work got done, even if it meant staying late. I checked the clock on the wall in our communal office and noticed that it was quitting time, 5:30 pm. In ‘real’ time (outside the dream), I suspected it was 5:30 am. Then I woke up. It was actually 6:00 am.

On its own, none of this is significant. But then I got to thinking about the extraneous details that kept floating back into my conscious memories. The woman, whose job it was to do the routine that I was handed, had booked off sick because of something that had happened while making love to her boyfriend: they had been having a session somewhere in public, specifically on a surface covered with zodiacal signs; before the office gossip finished telling me which one got branded into this woman’s bottom, I knew it was the symbol for Aquarius.

Our dreams are adventures into the known and the unknown at the same time. Things may seem familiar, and things may seem strange. That’s the thing that make them so interesting. In this latest dream, a discussion between the department head and myself resulted in hurt feelings for another female staff member.  There seemed to be nothing I could do to make it better for her. Like real life, actually.

Conclusion

My life is in overtime/bonus time now. I didn’t expect to live this long. So, I’m still puzzling things out. “What is my job?” “How can I figure out what’s going to happen?” “Should I be asking for more help?” “When will the work be done, finally?”

All quantum questions, to be sure…

The “Love” Bug

ESQfj__WkAEOSZC

COVID-19

This will seem a bit of a stretch, so hear me out.

On December 12, 2019, there was a COLD full moon, which, when charted astrologically, had a very disturbing triple inconjunct featuring Saturn, Venus and Pluto. I discussed this a few days before that date, see here. And here’s that chart again.

MoonDec2019FullWREJC1

The first ‘reported’ cases of the novel coronavirus were from China on December 31st, a little over two weeks later. The world didn’t start to panic until more than a month after that date. Now we are facing a potential pandemic.

My question at the time was “Is this fight going to be about Love?”

There is no fear in love. But perfect love drives out fear, because fear has to do with punishment. The one who fears is not made perfect in love. (I John 3:18 NIV)

Fountain International is re-enacting its founding moment in a meditation to take place on March 21st at 3:30 GMT. The first meditation was about service, this one is about love.

ExperimentBrightonWREJC1

Isn’t it great how these things come together in synchronicity? And the Brighton experiment was already in the works before the first COVID-19 fear took hold.

Now it looks like Fountain has something wonderful to focus on: the “Love” bug.

A Month in Politics is a Long Time

hqdefault

We’re Back!

Even a weekend is enough to change everything. A month ago, I suggested that Trump had accomplished what he set out to do: defeat Biden.

But Trump didn’t reckon on Democrats from the South deciding that Joe Biden was the man to represent their needs on the political stage in Washington, D.C.

So, now what?

(I noticed something on the CBS coverage of the Super Tuesday voting: after each candidate’s name in brackets is their party affiliation and the state they represent. I’m not sure if I’d been blind to it before, but Bernie Sanders’ was “I – NH”. Subtle, to be sure, but intending to show that he is an Independent running as a Democrat. Says a lot.)

If Joe Biden is definitely thinking that the African-American voters are his ticket to the White House, he had better sweet talk Kamala Harris into being his running mate.

Now, what are the odds of that happening?

The Backroom Boys are at It Again

joe-biden-south-carolina

Joe Biden (November 20, 1942)

I can see how this is shaping up: two moderates decide to ditch their Democratic Presidential Nomination campaigns and endorse the ‘presumptive’ front runner. Only Joe Biden is not the front runner, Bernie Sanders is. This is an attempt to derail Sanders’ nomination. Now, if Elizabeth Warren had also cut and run, they would have had a level playing field. But she’s still in it to limit Sanders’ votes. It’s Super Tuesday in the USA.

BidenJosephWREJC1

No one really knows what time of day Joe Biden was born, but the consensus is 8:30 am.

And this works well enough for our purposes: a double Finger of God (Yod) pointing at the Moon and one extra inconjunction, involving Mars and Saturn.

Moon Inconjunct Venus

You need to be loved, even more than most people, particularly by your mother or another woman who takes the place of your mother. This need for love will be the force behind many of your actions. If you don’t find the love you are looking for, you will develop an insecure hunger for love from everyone you meet.

There is the danger that if you spend so much time and effort trying to get what you need, you will not be able to give love to others. Thus this aspect can mean that you indulge yourself and expect others to do everything for you. Of course, if people think that you are looking at things this way, they will not be inclined to help you. This will drive you to seek love even more and make the pattern even stronger.

Moon Inconjunct Neptune

People with this aspect often hide their real feelings and make sacrifices for others that they do not really want to make. Then they resent the person who asked for the sacrifice. You must learn to tell people how you really feel; if you do not, you have only yourself to blame for what happens. You must learn to accept that you are responsible for your own life. Do not act as if you are the victim of strong forces that you can’t control, because you can control them.

Moon Inconjunct Ascendant

This aspect ties together in you a Moon sign and a rising sign that are very different. This indicates that the image you project to other people does not reveal very much about your real feelings. When you are upset, you surprise people by showing a totally different side of your personality.

Mars Inconjunct Saturn

This can be a difficult aspect because it signifies a conflict between your sense of responsibility and your desire to fulfill your own needs and do what you want. This leads to a struggle within you that may keep you from acting decisively. Instead of deciding what you will do, you feel caught between these two forces, wondering whether you have the right to do what you want. You may feel that others are trying to frustrate you, but it is your own indecisiveness that is causing the trouble. Sometimes this conflict makes you very irritable and resentful about nothing in particular. Then, when someone happens to act in a way that is obviously annoying, you focus all your built-up anger on that person.

The Next President?

BidenJosephWBAGE2

As I look at his chart comparison with the next administration, I see how the focus is on the transiting Moon. So, the Yods from Biden’s birth chart are echoed here. That may be a good thing, but I doubt it.

However, what do I know?

What the Universe decides is far beyond my understanding or control.

Rael as the Lord Maitreya?

2141377621-51ad3_2BK-BtL

Claude Vorilhon (September 30, 1946)

I have touched on this individual in the past, here. Now I wish to discuss the man, and not the movement.

VorilhonClaudeWREJC3

This is a rectified chart. Claude’s usual birth time is listed as 5: 00 am. But if the meeting of his ‘biological’ father took place when he was 27 years of age, Saturn needs to be in the early stages of the 7th House. So, now, instead of a seemingly ‘personal’ chart, we have a more ‘universal’ one. And now we have a double Finger of God (Yod) pointing at Uranus.

Venus Inconjunct Uranus

You feel mixed up about whether you want to be close to others or be free. When you are really close to a loved one, you feel smothered and want to get away by yourself to do what you want. But when you are alone and free to do what you want, you miss your loved ones and want to be with them. It will take you several years to understand yourself enough so that you can strike a balance between these two needs, so be patient.

Your uncertainty about love and freedom will be even greater if one of your parents doesn’t seem to love you steadily, if you feel you cannot count on that parent when you need help. This would make you feel that love is somehow unreliable, that you cannot depend on anyone who loves you. As a result, you won’t permit anyone to depend on you either.

This belief may make you irresponsible in relationships, so that you won’t fulfill people’s expectations even when you have agreed to do so. Don’t promise love that you cannot deliver. While you are young this is not a great problem, but when you are older, you will hurt your partner in a relationship by not being dependable or by not being honest about your dependability. You may tell yourself that you want a steady love relationship, but then go after someone whom you know intuitively will not be reliable. But if you are honest about your need for freedom, this will not happen.

Uranus Inconjunct Ascendant

Your need for freedom may interfere with your close relationships. When you are with others, even those you like, you feel very restless but you can’t get up and leave because you want to be with them. This is typical of the ambiguity that comes with this transit. Certainly, the more others try to restrict you freedom of movement, the more you try to get away.

The restless energies of this aspect should be given some kind of release, because otherwise they can turn inward to create the kind of rash and compulsive actions that lead to accidents. If you have accidents, it is not because you are unlucky, but because you are not careful at critical times. Learn to avoid any kind of dangerous activity when you are nervous, upset or feel that your energies are scattered.

Uranus Inconjunct Midheaven

You need to express your thoughts and feelings, but you often upset the people around you with your words. You seem to enjoy creating a stir every time you say something, but this can get you into quite a bit of trouble with parents, teachers and other authority figures. The underlying principle of this aspect is the need to balance your individual self-expression and manner of communicating with your need to learn and grow under the guidance of older people.

Trump as the Messiah?

96cfa503b88e64983033d28e0f1d4c03--persian-culture-the-persians

Cyrus the Great Reborn?

It’s long been a puzzle to me about how evangelical Christians can embrace and support a man like Donald Trump. I’ve tried to tackle this before here. But that seems to be totally neither here nor there. The clue showed up in an ABC Weekend News item yesterday. This has been discussed before:

The quote (at the top of the post) doesn’t sound much like Trump, does it? So, this shows to me that people focus on what makes it work for them, while ignoring what doesn’t.

I’ve said it before, and I’ll say it again: Trump is Nero reborn.

COVID-19: Surely, You’ve Only Just Begun?

statista-covid-19-coronavirus-cases

Yes, and don’t call me Shirley.

I’m having lots of dream images about this world health situation. The most obvious is that of a Facebook sequence which follows (or in my case, leads) the story line as it unfolds in real time. Lots of channeled information is also showing up in social media.

But what is the truth?

The BBC has tackled this dicey problem head-on. Chemtrails, 5G, vaccines and other bio-warfare concepts are being broadcast by ‘concerned’ citizens, including David Icke. But conspiracy theories are based, in part, on our distrust of authority figures, especially if they’re employed by the government. When the scientists and other ‘experts’ cannot tell us why and how something is happening, we make up our own stories, usually involving our worst case scenario. In other words, based on our fears.

Humility versus Humiliation

quote-humility-is-born-of-the-spirit-humiliation-of-the-ego-alan-cohen-55-3-0354

We, from Friday’s Faith and Science group, are in the first hallway of Caroline Myss’ Entering the Castle. Yesterday’s discussion was focused on humility, and invariably we began to relate times when we were humiliated by someone else.

It’s a common theme. Most of us have experienced humiliation in high school. Teachers have a way of putting us down, making us submissive to their thinking, but whether or not it was meant in a harmful way is always a point of debate. Teenagers think they know everything, so being humbled before your peers is not a pleasant place to be.

My brush with humiliation came in Mr. Nattress’ grade 9th math class. I had thought of myself as pretty smart when it came to numbers, so when I was asked to answer a question posed by my teacher, I got up and said, “Ah…” The class responded with “Dah.”

That was probably the last time I interjected a hesitation sound at the beginning of a sentence in public. Today, if I need to think out my answer before speaking, I remain silent. It also makes my audience pay closer attention to what I finally say.

Humility as a Suit of Armour

Years later in high school, Mr Broughton, in his science class, was taking roll call. He called out “Thorpe” (my surname in those days) and then made a crack about it sounding like a ‘brick hitting the floor’. By then, I was more humble, and I was able to laugh at his joke along with the rest of the class. Something had changed. I was no longer vulnerable.

When we are proud and boastful, someone else will try to take us down a peg or two. That’s when we feel resentful. And, a lot of the time, we plot ways to get back at our ‘enemies’. In truth, we are our own worst enemy. We set ourselves up for the fall, and then blame others when it happens. Unfortunately, that’s the dog-eat-dog world ethic.

Proverbs 16:18 King James Version (KJV)

18 Pride goeth before destruction, and an haughty spirit before a fall.

End of this lesson.

Canada: A House Divided (cannot stand)*

Wet’suwet’en territory pipeline protests are being being supported by other indigenous groups across Canada. A fire has been lit in the nation’s soul.

An attempt to bring together the hereditary chiefs and government officials was met with miscommunication. They will now be meeting today.

20596487_web1_02-12-20-When-Protestors-Get-Their-Pipelines-Crossed--1024x731

As shown in the CBC video from The National above, two members of the same family are on opposite sides of the conflict. As you might expect, they don’t discuss it at home.

That says it all: Canada in a microcosm.
