New Channelling through Fenella Rundell (VIII)

September 23, 2021: Climate Change

Enlightenment will not come in a way you might expect.

The journey of the soul towards growth is in a different dimension to the human form you inhabit at present. Everyone is feeling a diminution of interests and urges that they have carried through this life, and a period of quiet adjustment follows for a period of time. You will still continue to see and hear all the chaos around and wonder at the rationale of many in the public eye and positions of authority, wondering how rational decisions are made. You are slowly separating from their reality, yet still need to play your part in the scene, assisting in the stabilization of the energies. That is why it is preferable for you to be calm and peaceful in daily living, no matter what is happening in the world.

The movement of weather and climate is forcing re-evaluation. There is a power, that cannot be controlled and is inevitable, to facilitate the changes. This will continue for awhile but all will eventually settle down to a new rhythm. There will be many who can no longer work with the new energies and will leave the planet. Those who try to hold onto the old paradigms cannot stay. There is much work to be done, the old ways no longer work. By learning to trust your intuition you will know how to play your part.

Back-Channels: How One Man’s Folly was Mitigated

Peril (2021)

You might think this is just paranoia speaking, but I think, as do the authors of this book, that the world came perilously close to a catastrophe in January of this year. If General Mark Milley hadn’t initiated contact with his counterpart in China, who knows where we’d be now.

Two days after the January 6, 2021, violent assault on the United States Capitol by supporters of President Donald Trump, General Mark Milley, the nation’s senior military officer and chairman of the Joint Chiefs of Staff, placed an urgent call on a top secret, back-channel line at 7:03 a.m. to his Chinese counterpart, General Li Zuocheng, chief of the Joint Staff of the People’s Liberation Army.

Prologue

Now, what does that look like astrologically?

Did he prevent a potential war between the United States and China? You can bet he did. That Mars/Uranus (“lightning strike”) conjunction is the ‘proof’ of what was potentially going to happen. And the triple T-square connecting these two planets in Taurus with the Midheaven @ 4° Scorpio and the Mercury/Jupiter/Saturn conjunction in Aquarius shows that it would have totally consumed the American people had it taken place. Yes, folks, they dodged the ‘bullet’: the World War III postponed…

Shambhala or Shambolic?

Ancient Aliens (Season 16, Episode 2)

I usually don’t pay much attention to theories about ancient aliens when it comes to this series on the History Channel, but because of my connection to Nicholas Roerich, I wanted to see what they’d come up with as regards to the Home of the Gods, Shambhala.

The premise they arrived at was that those thousands of missing people must have found an underground passage to this spiritual centre. Or they became invisible somehow. This is coming very close to premise behind The Celestine Prophecy. And then, just to complicate matters, the program directors took the narrative down the UFO/airship avenue, to tie in their Ancient Aliens theme.

Then They Answered Their Own Question

Building the Rainbow Body

The ultimate fruition of the tögal practices is a body of pure light and the dissolution of the physical body at death, this is called a rainbow body

Wikipedia

And all it takes is seven days of continuous meditation (something that modern man would have a great deal of trouble doing).

In their Rainbow Body, they could go to any one of twelve spiritual worlds for further education.

Who needs a UFO?

“It Costs a Lot of Money to Look This Cheap”

Dolly Parton (January 19, 1946)

It’s one of those lines that endears Dolly Parton to people: self-deprecating to the nth degree. But, for some unknown reason, she decided at a young age that when she grew up she wanted to look like the town floozy. And like the nation’s image of a good girl gone bad, she’s lived up to this ‘ideal’ ever since.

I knew that looking at Dolly’s birth chart, I would get to see why she turned out the way she did: Chiron in the 2nd House conjunct to Jupiter in Libra. Hmm.

The Jupiter conjunct Chiron natal aspect can indicate wounding related to your faith in life. This can be a hard and painful aspect, as Jupiter represents things that make life easier and more meaningful: abundance, wealth, spirituality, education.

With Jupiter-Chiron contacts, there can be some pain or wounding related to these life areas. Perhaps there is a trauma related to spirituality, or you don’t have faith in that there is enough for everyone.

Jupiter conjunct Chiron can indicate an unconscious belief that money is bad, or that it leads to trauma and excruciating pain if you want to live in abundance. Such experiences can indicate money struggles and seeing abundance as something unattainable, even bad on a conscious level.

Your optimism and faith can be also hurt with Jupiter conjunct Chiron in the natal chart. Perhaps there was a traumatic event that took your faith in life away. Some people with this placement become anxious and pessimistic. With Jupiter conjunct Chiron, your life philosophy can be infused with the vulnerable and painful energy of Chiron.

Jupiter Conjunct Chiron Natal

Because both energies are in the 2nd House, this amplifies the description in the third paragraph, above. And because the Chiron/Jupiter conjunction is the point of a triple T-square connecting the oppositions between Mercury, Venus and the Sun in Capricorn with the Mars/Saturn conjunction in Cancer, this is very powerful medicine, indeed.

Her Healing Connection with Kenny

If ever there was a couple of stars who seemed like work mates (you know what I mean: husband or wife to each other on stage), it’s these two. So, I wanted to see how compatible they were.

His Saturn in Aries conjunct her Part of Fortune, and his Part of Fortune conjunct her Ascendant seems to show how lucky they were to get to duet on “Islands in the Stream”. And his Sun and her Moon completes the connection. They may be different on the surface, but identical inside. They both were rags-to-riches individuals. Let’s look at the lyrics to that song…

Islands In the Stream

Dolly Parton, Kenny Rogers

Baby, when I met you there was peace unknown
I set out to get you with a fine tooth comb
I was soft inside
There was something going on

You do something to me that I can’t explain
Hold me closer and I feel no pain
Every beat of my heart
We got something going on

Tender love is blind
It requires a dedication
All this love we feel needs no conversation
We ride it together, ah ha
Making love with each other, ah ha

Islands in the stream
That is what we are
No one in between
How can we be wrong?
Sail away with me
To another world
And we rely on each other, ah ha
From one lover to another, ah ha

I can’t live without you if the love was gone
Everything is nothing if you got no one
And you did walk in the night
Slowly losing sight of the real thing

But that won’t happen to us and we got no doubt
Too deep in love and we got no way out
And the message is clear
This could be the year for the real thing

No more will you cry
Baby, I will hurt you never
We start and end as one
In love forever
We can ride it together, ah ha
Making love with each other, ah ha

Islands in the stream
That is what we are
No one in between
How can we be wrong?
Sail away with me
To another world
And we rely on each other, ah ha
From one lover to another, ah ha

Sail away
Oh, come sail away with me

Islands in the stream
That is what we are
No one in between
How can we be wrong?
Sail away with me
To another world
And we rely on each other, ah ha
From one lover to another, ah ha

Islands in the stream
That is what we are
No one in between
How can we be wrong?
Sail away with me
To another world
And we rely on each other, ah ha
From one lover to another, ah ha

Islands in the stream
That is what we are
No one in between…

(Says it all, I think.)

When the Gambler Finally Cashed in His Chips

Kenny Rogers (August 21, 1938 – March 20, 2020)

All it takes is a chance viewing of a farewell concert to set my Astrology wheels in motion. Last night we watched CBS’ “All In For The Gambler” and then I got to thinking about the man and his ‘little’ songs. Kenny Rogers was one of those lucky individuals who found fame and fortune and made his way into our hearts, at the same time. But, as usual, I wanted to look behind the lace curtains of his life.

Now, normally, I look at the inconjuncts (and there’s only one here, Saturn Inconjunct Neptune), but after reading about some of the less ‘correct’ behaviour that he exhibited, I wondered if something else was operating, My eye was drawn to the Moon @ 5° Cancer, which happens to be conjunct Chiron @ 7° Cancer 42′ and the 9th House cusp @ 10° Cancer 38′. That combination makes sense of his Scorpio Rising @ 10° (trine the Moon). A-ha! I said to myself.

Natal Chiron – Moon aspects show some kind of your emotional wounding. There is a lot of emotional trauma that hasn’t necessarily been processed. There is a bottomless need for love and nurturance. Also, there can be limiting beliefs in regards to it, a belief that love is painful, or that nurturance is painful. These beliefs can limit the capacity to give and receive love. There is a bottomless need for love and nurturance, and yet, there can be limiting beliefs in regards to it, a belief that love is painful, or that nurturance is painful, which can limit the capacity to give and receive love. Chiron is an asteroid between Saturn and Uranus. Its orbit is very unusual and represents a bridge between material and spiritual worlds. Chiron symbolizes our unbeatable injuries and incurable trauma. Above all Chiron represents the primal wound and the urge to become whole and heal the self

Natal Chiron – Moon Aspects
For Kenny’s chart, read the 8th House description

His Death Chart is Accurate to the Minute

That Cosmic Cross is impressive. The Ascendant is almost the same as in his natal chart. So the 9th House cusp is close to his natal Moon. But now the North Node is there, too, so we seem to have a completion of his life’s mission, to heal the emotional wounds of past and present lives.

Comparing the birth and death charts allows us to see how the healing took place. And I’m not surprised by anything, especially his natal Jupiter (in Aquarius) being transited by the Moon @ 25°, while his natal Uranus was transited by Venus @ 17° Taurus. There are no accidents: his time had come.

Christian Ethics: Could You Do This?

Jesus and the Rich Young Man

“Christ and the Rich Young Ruler” by Heinrich Hofmann

This parable is the stumbling-block for most Christians. Here is a synopsis of the story from Wikipedia:

In Matthew and Mark, the discussion is set within the period when Jesus ministered in Perea, east of the River Jordan. In Matthew, a rich young man asks Jesus what actions bring eternal life. First, Jesus advises the man to obey the commandments. When the man responds that he already observes them, and asks what else he can do, Jesus adds:

If you want to be perfect, go, sell your possessions and give to the poor, and you will have treasure in heaven. Then come, follow me.

Luke has a similar episode and states that:

When he heard this, he became very sad, because he was very wealthy. Jesus looked at him and said, “How hard it is for the rich to enter the kingdom of heaven! Indeed, it is easier for a camel to go through the eye of a needle than for someone who is rich to enter the kingdom of heaven.”

The non-canonical Gospel of the Nazarenes is mostly identical to the Gospel of Matthew, but one of the differences is an elaboration of this account. It reads:

The other of the rich men said to him “Master, what good thing shall I do and live?” He said to him “Man, perform the law and the prophets.” He answered him “I have performed them.” He said to him “Go, sell all that thou hast and divide it to the poor, and come, follow me.” But the rich man began to scratch his head, and it pleased him not. And the Lord said to him “How can you say ‘I have performed the law and the prophets’? seeing that it is written in the law ‘Thou shalt love thy neighbor as thyself,’ and look, many of your brothers, sons of Abraham, are clad with dung, dying for hunger, and your house is full of much goods, and there goes out therefrom nought at all unto them.” And he turned and said to Simon his disciple, sitting by him, “Simon, son of John, it is easier for a camel to enter through the eye of a needle than a rich man into the kingdom of the heavens”.

Here is Phineas Quimby’s take on the episode:

This was the case with the rich young man who came to Jesus to know what he should do to be saved. Now if the young man was really in danger of being doomed to eternal punishment, as we are taught, then all that was wanted was to believe; so if his belief changed him, I ask if it changed his identity or mind? We are taught that man cannot do anything of himself to save himself, but was this the case with the young man? No, for Jesus told him what to do, to keep the commandments and these commandments were not Jesus’ but Moses.’ The young man said, This have I done from my youth up; so according to the young man’s story he was a very good man and Jesus found no fault with him but said, If you would be perfect, go and sell all you have and give it to the poor and follow me. Now here was a young man who had done everything to be saved and Jesus would not save him unless he would give all that he had to the poor and follow Him. Now as absurd as this looks, it is quoted as a command of Jesus, yet you cannot find anyone that will comply with it, but they get over it by saying that we must give up all sinful acts. Well, be as honest to that young man who went away sorrowful, for he could not understand. For his beliefs were so strong that Christ answered him as much as to say, Go, give all your ideas away and embrace the truth. Now this is a fair specimen of the parables. Jesus never hinted that He or the young man had the slightest idea of another world, but it shows on the face that a man like Jesus could not be so little or narrow-minded as to send the person to endless misery because he would not give all his riches to the poor. Such constructions on the Bible are the cause of a great deal of sickness.

Now I will give my construction, and if I do not make Jesus more of a man than the other, then I never will attempt to explain the Bible again. The Jews thought that they were the chosen people of God and were the best and knew the most. So riches were wisdom and they were rich in the laws of Moses. This young man came to Jesus to ask him what he should do to obtain this belief that Jesus taught–eternal life. Jesus said, Keep the commandments. This he had done. Well go and give away your ideas and try to learn mine. This he could not do, for he could not see into it. So he went away sorrowful. Jesus’ own disciples were in the same way for they said, We have forsaken all, what lack we more? He then goes on to tell them what they must do but they did it not, for they all forsook Him. Now if it requires such a sacrifice to go to heaven, then He never found one that went, for they asked Him, If these things be so, how can a man be saved? He said, Try; many shall try but few be chosen. Is it so now? No. It is the easiest thing in the world to get religion now; all that is required is to join the church and pay the minister well and you shall be saved. Now does anyone suppose this was Jesus’ mission? If he does, I am sorry. He must have a very low opinion if he supposes that a man’s salvation depends upon a certain belief, but it does, according to the belief of our day.

Through the Eye of the Needle

I’ve written about this before, here. There is such a thing as humility and when someone has ‘made it’ in the world, the only way to retain the status quo is to hold onto his money, or else he’ll become nothing.

Jesus’ parable challenges this narrow thinking, suggesting instead that letting it all go and being like Jesus was the only way to perfection. This isn’t a new idea, but it seems too revolutionary today.

So, my question to you, today, is: Could you do it?

Three Months: Right on Schedule

Cloe Shows Up in Susan’s Dream Tuesday Morning

Cloe on May 24, 2009

Incredible as it seems, Cloe has finally visited Susan in a lucid dream. Her fur was whiter, and she had both eyes again. Cloe spoke directly to Susan’s mind and said, “I’m hungry.” Susan said, “I’ll get you some food.” Then she held Cloe in the crook of her arm, cradling her left hand under Cloe’s ‘elbow’ until Susan finally woke up. Susan told me about the dream then.

I reminded her that the three month mark is significant. (I think all the three’s are important: three days, three weeks, three months, and three years.) It ‘proves’ that life goes on, even for our pets.

The Inspiration for John Lennon’s “Imagine”

John & Yoko: Above Us Only Sky (2018)

Call it Serendipity, call it Kismet, call it in time for dinner: we wouldn’t have watched this Channel 4 film on Netflix last night if there had not been an interruption to our Rogers cable TV. (Evidently, there had been a power outage somewhere in Southern Ontario…)

Now I want you to imagine how the album “Imagine” came about. Now think again: would you believe that it was inspired by Yoko Ono’s book, “Grapefruit”?

.

I know, I know: John was a macho man back in 1971, and didn’t want to admit how much Yoko’s work inspired him to create. But that was then. Finally, in 1980, during his last interview with Andy Peebles for the BBC, John said that he should have given credit to Yoko Ono for the creation of the album (and, obviously, the song). His whole interview is on the following video:

Yoko Ono (February 18, 1933)

This chart was already on my Kepler 7.0 program, and seems to be consistent with her charts across most astrology websites. So I won’t change a thing. There are several inconjuncts, but it’s the two that make up the Finger of God (Yod) pointing at the Midheaven that I will focus on, here.

Moon Inconjunct Midheaven

With this aspect you must learn to make your emotional needs and desires for pleasure fit in with your growth and development in the world. It is possible that these problems could make it difficult for you to choose a profession or a course that would give your life a sense of purpose. Or you may be unable to follow one path consistently. In other words, your emotional needs may be in conflict with your long-range goals. You may know what you have to do, but not feel much like doing it. Or your feelings may actually color your perception so much that you really do not see what has to be done. Try not to form bad habits, because they are especially likely to create difficulties of this sort.

Saturn Inconjunct Midheaven

This aspect indicates that you very much need a positive relationship with your parents, especially your father. You should not be disciplined sternly unless you are given lots of love at the same time. Otherwise, giving and receiving love from others will be a real problem for the rest of your life. Unless you are truly supported by your family and friends, you will begin to feel lonely and isolated from others and inferior to them. Also you are likely to have serious difficulties with authority figures, because you are afraid of how they will treat you, not expecting that anyone will ever give you the loving guidance you need. You will see all authorities only as potential threats to your freedom and as sources of pain and trouble.

(Doesn’t she sound perfect for John?)

How’s this for proof?

My mother was of the sky
My father was of the earth
But I am of the universe
And you know what it’s worth
I’m lonely
Want to die
If I ain’t dead already, woo
Girl, you know the reason why

Yer Blues (The Beatles)

So, What About the Lyrics to ‘That’ Song?

Yoko’s last words about the album

According to the film, Yoko captured the double exposure on Polaroid of John and the clouds.

New Channelling through Fenella Rundell (VII)

September 20, 2021: Social Cohesion

The glue that holds society together

depends on the willingness for all to respect the needs and rights of others. Today with the growing awareness that you have rights and choices, you feel strong enough to express and challenge the assumed authority of others. Church and State held sway in the past, but, with the falling away from the acceptance of such authority, a free-for-all has developed.

Cohesiveness will come only when the awareness comes to the greater numbers, that you must pull together in order to move forward and a consensus develops towards looking for the common good. Being prepared to listen to the aspirations and opinions of others is the path to follow, seeking compromise and cooperation. Keep in mind the ideal you desire. What is said here is self-evident. To believe that “might is right”, and the loudest voice which counts, can no longer hold true

.
You are souls creating a New Earth, a new vision and are here to do it together. Listen, contemplate and tolerate differences. Look to see the finer, loving path with agreement.

Everybody Gets to Say, “Goodbye, Lucifer”

Lucifer: Season 6 – Partners ‘Till the End

It’s been a fun run, for sure. Six glorious seasons are now over. No doubt, some will want it to be resurrected, once more, but what’s done is done!

Now, just for a giggle… I have created a an ‘event’ chart for the subject of the finale.

I know, I know: this is silly, but the idea that a fictional story line can be astrologically mapped was just too enticing to ignore.

10th & Swanson, Van Ness, California

I couldn’t believe my eyes when that inconjunct between Venus and the Midheaven showed up, based on a random timing which got flipped to the middle of the early morning.

Venus Inconjunct Midheaven

You have a strong need to be loved and to love others as well, but this may create some problems in your life. You are afraid that if you appear to others as you really are, they won’t accept you. This problem can be corrected only by the most careful upbringing, such that your parents correct your behavior in ways that help you feel self-confident rather than undeserving and unworthy.

You are likely to feel that there is a conflict between what you ought to do in a particular situation and what would be acceptable to the people around you. Often your friendships come into conflict with your parents’ intentions for you, which is difficult to resolve. Later in life, you may see your job, career or profession as a part of your life that is quite separate from your personal relationships with loved ones. This may cause you to neglect one area in favor of the other, instead of trying to create a balance between them.

Can you believe it? This seems to be the whole of Season 6 condensed into a couple of paragraphs. I never thought I’d see the day…

*Spoilers Alert*

Everybody gets their just desserts (including Dan):

Don’t you just love happy endings? And that is exactly is the point of the story: this fantasy is a modern fairy tale where good overcomes evil, even in Lucifer, himself.

So, we can now say, “Goodbye, Lucifer” too.

Because, if the devil can be redeemed, anyone can. The End.
