After Sixty-Six Years, People Still Want to Know Him

James Dean (February 8, 1931 – September 30, 1955)

Life cover courtesy of amazon.ca

The original ‘Rebel Without a Cause’, James Dean was an enigma in Hollywood.

This birth time was already on my Kepler 7.0 program, and at least one other astrology site agreed with that, so I’m leaving it alone. At any rate, the two inconjuncts may be able to enlighten us about him.

Sun Inconjunct Pluto

There will be many changes in your life, and you will be affected by deep psychological forces that may be difficult to understand at times, as well as confusing to the people around you. You approach people with great intensity, and your emotional involvements are seldom casual. Either you like people very much or you dislike them intensely. Possibly your attitudes on other matters will be extreme also. One of the most important lessons that you will have to learn is to be more moderate.

You have a very strong will and can be quite stubborn, even when you don’t have any particular reason to be. It is as if you automatically resist any pressure to act in a particular way, even if you know it is good for you. This may arise from a fear of being controlled, helpless or manipulated by anyone else. As you get older, this fear may lead you to manipulate others so that they cannot manipulate you. It is very important to develop confidence in yourself, so that you will not behave this way very frequently. Your relationship with your father will be particularly important, for his actions and his opinions of you will strongly affect your sense of well-being.

You are very serious for your age, perhaps too much so, for taking everything very seriously can destroy much of the joy in life. Not all encounters are important and require you to put yourself on the line, although you may try to live that way.

Venus Inconjunct Mars

You must learn to control your emotions to some extent, so that your feelings do not prevent you from getting along with others. It is difficult for you to react to someone without feelings, for you tend to either love or hate people quite intensely. Your feelings are often mixed, even toward your friends. One moment you love your friend, and the next moment you hate him or her. Any little problem can set off your anger against someone, but you usually cool off quickly also. Your close relationships will be a bit stormier than most, but this should not be a serious problem in later life, In fact you probably prefer stormy relationships, because it mean that you are really involved with the other person.

When you are older, this aspect will be most important in your relationships with the opposite sex, which you will become strongly involved in. For this reason, your relationship with your parent of the opposite sex will be very important, because the patterns you establish with that parent will continue in later sexual relationships. If you have a lot of problems with your mother (if you are a boy), you won’t be able to have smooth relationships with the opposite sex until you can solve those problem.

While you are young, as well as later, you may be attracted to persons who, if you think rationally about it, do not seem very well suited to you. This problem will be greatest if you do not feel good about yourself, for it is a reflection of your own inner turmoil about love and your right to be loved.

What Happened to His Parents?

The family spent several years there [Santa Monica, California], and by all accounts, Dean was very close to his mother. According to Michael DeAngelis, she was “the only person capable of understanding him”. In 1938, she was suddenly struck with acute stomach pain and quickly began to lose weight. She died of uterine cancer when Dean was nine years old. Unable to care for his son, Dean’s father sent him to live with his aunt and uncle, Ortense and Marcus Winslow, on their farm in Fairmount, Indiana, where he was raised in their Quaker household.

Wikipedia

Dean’s homosexuality has been the basis of many claims about him. After losing his mom as such a tender age, and then sent away by his father, he was vulnerable to a sexually abusive relationship with a man that substituted for both parents, his pastor. Now, that can really mess a young man’s mind, for sure.

Do you know him any better, now?

War Is Hell, for Everyone Involved

An Army Marches on Its Stomach

Admittedly, this quote has been floating around my mental space for a week, now. It was prompted by the idea that Putin wanted to ‘conquer’ Ukraine as quickly as possible. Having a 61 km convoy of tanks just north of Kyiv must be driving him crazy. The soldiers in those tanks must be getting very hungry.

In reality, comparing Putin to Napoleon isn’t as farfetched as one might imagine. Napoleon wanted to conquer Russia, but failed. Why? Because he tried to do it in winter. Now, Putin is trying to do the same with Ukraine. And he may fail, too. Even political strategists can overlook the obvious: supplies have to get through to the men in the field. Otherwise, they will down arms and walk away or surrender.

Putin’s Part of Fortune aligns with Napoleon’s ‘fatal’ South Node and his natal Mars and Neptune conjunct. Napoleon’s natal Part of Fortune is conjunct his ‘fatal’ Jupiter and opposite Putin’s Sun. And the proof of reincarnation? Putin’s Mars is within 6° of Napoleon’s natal North Node.

When Will They Ever Learn, When Will They Ever Learn?

Answer: Never!

This may be propaganda, or this may be real: a ‘captured’ Russian soldier, drinking tea and eating bread, gets to call his mother and breaks down in tears in Ukraine. Yes, war is hell, for everyone involved.

In the Past, Autocratic Rulers were Shot

Czar Nicholas II of Russia (May 18, 1868 – July 17, 1918)

I said I would contemplate who Roger Ailes was in a prior life. I got this individual. Why? Because of the way Ailes ‘ruled’ the Fox News Network: and only when the minions rose up to depose him, did he lose his livelihood, his reputation and finally his life. Besides, there is something familiar in their faces.

The obvious thing is Saturn on the cusp of the 10th House: he was born to rule over others. And his marriage to Alexandra (Venus) seems to be situated for 20 years, not 26 as it should have been. They first met when he was just 16 and she 12.So there are lots of holes in the astrological story of this man.

His destiny (North Node) is accurately situated at 50 years, so maybe that’s the anchor for the timing.

Probably in modern times, this is the most publicized assassination of a ruler of a country. The result was the first sparks of the Russian Revolution. It was definitely the end of the Romanov 300 year reign.

So, What About Roger Ailes?

Yes, there are connections, but are there enough to prove reincarnation? Perhaps not, but Ailes’ Moon being within 5° of Nicholas’ natal North Node should tell us something. Their natal Suns are within 3°. Nicholas’ natal Neptune is about 2° from Ailes’ South Node (@ 18° Aries). The natal and fatal charts don’t link up quite as easily. Perhaps being assassinated can mess reincarnation links up a bit.

Conclusion

I’m a firm believer that reincarnation is a fact. I was inspired to look here because the takedowns were similar. Is it enough? Perhaps.

But then I realized that I had missed the most obvious connection, haemophilia. Nicholas II’s son Alexi suffered from the same affliction.

Russian Imperial Family 1913

Alexei Nikolaevich (Russian: Алексе́й Никола́евич) (12 August [O.S. 30 July] 1904 – 17 July 1918) of the House of Romanov, was the last Tsesarevich (heir apparent to the throne of the Russian Empire). He was the youngest child and only son of Emperor Nicholas II and Empress Alexandra Feodorovna. He was born with haemophilia, which his parents tried treating with the methods of a peasant faith healer named Grigori Rasputin.

Wikipedia

Now we’re getting somewhere. Alexei was killed along with his family in 1918: he wasn’t yet 14. Let’s call it a case of ‘arrested development’.

Those two inconjuncts are probably significant: Mercury and Saturn (near the 10th House cusp); and Mars and Uranus (lightning striking). He never got to meet his proper destiny, which is why he would have reincarnated as someone like Roger Ailes.

Have I proven my case?

Maybe the Devil Made Him Do It

Roger Ailes (May 15, 1940 – May 18, 2017)

Honestly, I wasn’t going to look at this man who was alleged to have acted like a sexual predator during his Fox Network days. Then I looked at his birth chart and knew I had to share what I saw there.

This is the time that most astrology sites show for his birth. The rating is “AA”. I won’t change a thing.

When I did the original birth chart of “you know who”, I noted that Pluto was on the 12th House cusp. He has it there, too. So the description that I wrote for her, applies to him. And with a 1st House Moon in Virgo, there is no question in my mind that he preferred young ‘virginal’ women. When I find the time, I will try to link him to someone in the past. But for now, we can only wonder why he thought he could deny having done anything wrong with the women under his control at Fox News.

We watched this sleazy film last night. It is not the usual fare for us, but it had a certain familiarity for me because I’d watched the proceedings from a distance in 2016 when they occurred. The lesson here is that when people band together, they can remove a despot from power.

To Get Rid of What Ailes You, Fire a Blonde…Bombshell

More Newspeak: Today’s Message…

Go With the Flow

(From the New Age Lexicon by Peter Lemesurier)

Perfectly sound concept co-opted by New Agers from the sailing fraternity, and based on what every traditional mariner knows — namely that there really is no point in trying to go against it. Indeed, when the tidal flow is against you, you often get further simply by dropping the anchor.

The idea is related to the oriental concept of “non-action.” Just as there is no point in trying to walk up the down escalator, so getting from here to there may merely be a matter of sitting put and waiting for the six o’clock bus (in joke).

Effort, in other words, is often counter-productive. “Being stuck” is perfectly OK (spiritual seekers please note). Choosing the right time and circumstance is all-important. But this involves awareness.

And failing that, there is always accident. See serendipity.

(I couldn’t have said it better myself.)

[Text Message]: “I Think I’m in Over My Head”

Safe (2018)

As any parent knows, we would do anything to keep our children Safe. But sometimes we can go too far. *Spoiler Alert* for the video below…

I think I’m getting the hang of Harlan Corben’s writing, after this third mini-series. Here are the elements:

The Hero

As always, the main protagonist is a white male who is faced with a mystery to unravel. He might or might not be a father, too. He has a best friend who helps him solve the mystery.

The Sidekick

This best friend is also going to be an enigma, of sorts. He will have a mysterious past, and a confusing present, but he will always be available to help drive the protagonist around, if so needed.

The Lover/Wife/Other Woman

It’s a strange feeling to watch a man begin to doubt someone he loves. In Gone for Good, his girlfriend had a risky past life. In The Stranger, his wife disappears, forever, after pulling a con on him years before. In Safe, his wife has been dead a year, but her teenage past is part of the mystery to unravel.

Someone is Missing and/or Murdered

There gets to be a feeling after a while that I’m watching Midsomer Murders on PBS. So many people end up dead that it’s a wonder there are any inhabitants of the area left to carry on living. This series was filmed near Chester, so the scenery was familiar, without being too obvious. (I’ve been to Chester and Speke near Liverpool, so I know what that part of the UK looks like.) The missing part is the mystique of the writing. Sometimes, the missing person is the teenage child of the hero, as in this series.

Children Figure Strongly in the Plot

Normally, children in murder mysteries are just window dressing. In Coben’s stories, they drive the plot, sometimes getting into scrapes, sometimes helping their dad find the missing person. It’s a unique twist to have so much of a story centred on the children, especially one, like this series, which involves a very messy teenage rave. (In hindsight, it’s totally unrealistic that the hostess, Sia, could have cleaned up the mess before her parents got home. She is also the loose cannon…)

Slightly Bent Cops

Do all police officers and inspectors turn a blind eye to crimes committed by the hero? That’s the message we get from the Coben story lines. And, how about the buddy team of two surgeons (Tom and Pete) going around, breaking into places, beating up some bad guys and never paying the price for it. (Well, Pete does get stabbed, but never mind that.)

Lots of Sexy Stuff

There is so much infidelity going on, I wonder if Coben is sorting out his love life through writing.

The Use of Cellphone Technology

It’s a fact: with mobile phones, no one is really lost forever, as long as the battery holds a charge.

The Twisty Ending

Is it possible to write a murder mystery without a twist at the end? I suppose not, since the point of the story is that you cannot tell all through the series who is really the good person and who is the bad one.

Conclusion

Here is the preview:

And the Darkness Comprehended It Not

When There is Enough Light Shining

In my dream (from early this morning), different Miller family members were assembled in a living room setting. There were several lamps scattered around the room. My ‘job’ was to turn the lamps on, not to flood the place with too much light, but just enough to illuminate the scene pleasantly, so that the ambiance was enhanced.

Sometimes, I think my posts here on Starlogic.ca are trying to do the same. However, I don’t get a lot of feedback, so my overall feeling is one of not being understood.

The number of posts I’ve written over the past eight years has exceeded 3,200. Over time, I’ve whittled that number down to just under 3,000 and I wish there was some way to share the more interesting ones without re-posting them. The tags are a clue to their content, and the categories are the generalized headings, but there isn’t a search engine for anyone wanting to look at relevant posts on my page.

My son, Derek, has made the point that by blogging here on WordPress, I’ve preserved my thinking for future generations, long after I’m gone. That’s some comfort, I guess.

In the long run, if you want to understand what’s going on, you must pull back the curtains and pull up the Venetian blinds, to let the sunshine in. Bless.

That’s Just Cosmic, Man!

Psychedelic Fractals of Infinite Consciousness

There are so many reminders of our ‘other’ energies in fractal art. Some are plainly beautiful, some contain fearful symmetry. But the overall effect is to inspire us to think ‘outside the box’.

This Rainbow Fractal image is courtesy of 123RF

The Mandelbrot Set fractals were the first time that we were able to see the repeating patterns ad infinitum. But did it wake us up to the reality that we are ‘infinite consciousness’? No, because all it did was hypnotize our minds, as we gazed at the intricate art.

“Listen very carefully to the sound of my voice…listen very carefully…listen.”

Astrology teaches us the same thing, but we spend so much time delineating the aspects, we tend to lose sight of the whole pattern of our lives. When viewed from a different perspective, we are one.

The Body, Human

At the first moment of our human birth
The cycles of heaven stop, mark the place
Each planet holds on the horoscope’s face
So we’ll know our potential here on earth.
That does not mean an abundance or dearth
In the chart, makes the person only trace
Nth degrees of choice; in all parts of space
Grace allows us to do some things of worth.
Goodness knows that bad things come about;
Reason tells us that we can’t all be good
Or else there’d be no balance in the scale.
Up we must strive, for there can be no doubt
Nor can Life’s meaning be misunderstood:
Deep in our bones, our spirits never fail.

            Sonnet VI (written in 1984)
The A in GRACE is similar to a quincunx sigil

Spiritual “Brothers in Arms”?

‘WWG1WGA”

Does this thinking still apply, today? Is this why Zelenskyy is chiding the Western powers for standing at a distance and watching the events unfold in his precious country? And why didn’t NATO allow Ukraine to become part of the alliance? Were the member states afraid of tweaking Putin’s nose?

So many questions; so few answers.

The Q-Anon slogan “Where We Go One, We Go All” is toothless when it comes to international politics. Americans only want to attack themselves. That’s how totally messed up everything is.

We all know that war is not the answer, but what can be done with a naked aggressor? Sanction him?! And now, as a matter of defence strategy, Putin is mobilizing his nuclear weaponry. Is he trying to follow an Armageddon scenario? Throughout the Cold War, nuclear deterrent was the only thing keeping everyone safe (as strange as that might sound). Now we have a very ‘unstable’ individual with his hand potentially on the nuclear trigger. God help us all.

“How the Leaves Came Down” by Susan Coolidge

Sometimes an allegory is the only way to get across a spiritual truth.

When one is a Spiritual Warrior, being peaceful is only half the story. The other half needs to rise up in righteous indignation. It’s a binary world, after all else is said and done. The truth is we will all die, sometime, but the warrior says, “Today is a good day to die” and lives his life that way.

Would it be in vain? No, because the next life and the next life and the next life brings us a chance to finally get it right. And, if you are a spiritual ‘brother in arms’, you will know when it’s your time to stand up, and fight for your right to die today. Today is a good day…

Thanks, Ellie.
